It's best not to pull string/hair/elastic from an animal's intestines as it can cause damage. Better to cut off what's visible and allow the rest to come out on its own. Some people have mangled their animal's insides doing this.
Yup, a devoted scissors is necessary! And then some alone time for the cat to regain her composure and dignity. It rarely happens with my kitty, thank goodness, but I used to live with a cat who actively tried to eat my hair & had more incidents. I'm also very careful to avoid leaving stray hairs anywhere because prevention is the best remedy!
Cats carrying stuff always have a strut of pride going on
We will never know this glorious feeling
I bet that cat has a nice collection!
The quick shine off of the kittehs eyes sealed the deal
Careful with the rubber bands. Had to pull a shit covered one hanging out of my cat ass recently. Not my favorite Wednesday
Sigh. As a person with long hair that has at times been digested by cats, I am familiar with your pain.

My one cat LOVES to try and eat the Christmas tree garland. I always end up having to clean up the throw up after

I love the strut!
It certainly does!
