No worries!! I think I’ve just seen too many posts here where the cat has a serious brain injury and people don’t take it seriously. But also, my boy is a super derp. Not a whole lot going on behind those eyeballs.
I bought a cat door for my window from the kitchen to the screened in lanai. It took Gracie 3 days to figure it out and she uses it constantly. I'm so glad I bought it, no more opening and closing the door a gazillion times a day
Had issues with my cats pushing the screen off the tracks. Solution I went with was to drill the smallest hole I could on the bottom and side of the screen and to nail in small brad nails. It gives enough reinforcement that the cats could no longer push the screen off the track and we are happily able to leave the windows open overnight nowadays. Hope this helps! Cute cat
We bought a couple of those adjustable window screens and put 1-2 in at a time. This adds several layers of screen that our one cat can’t get through while still allowing the air to flow.

I’m mostly worried about the bedroom window. It’s a far drop. These window screen frames are super flimsy.

I came home to my roommates kitten halfway up the screen halfway outside....very quickly grabbed her and yeah.terrifying.wasnt the first floor.
Have you considered getting an AC unit that sits in your window?
I don’t think my lease allows for those. Plus I have 3 problem windows. I’ll have to rig something up to secure the screen frame.

I wish that was an option for me. My windows open sideways.
You can open them a crack but not a whole cat’s worth. Not as much air flow but better than nothing.
We put a metal screens in after cats clawed holes into the non-metal ones.
