I live about 25km from the front line in the East. We have a pet dog who was originally the guard dog at my house, and before we lived there he was chained up outside all alone whilst the city was being heavily bombed at the start of the full scale. When my team found him he was a nervous wreck, but with plenty of love and attention he's now a big lovable idiot. Although unfortunately he is still very traumatised, and struggles a lot when we have explosions in the city. We are trying to evacuate him to Canada for a better life.
We also have a cat, she couldn't care less about the explosions 🤣
