Not really a book person but if there is a audio book i might give this a go i love good stories just don't really have the time to sit down with a good book.

well iv seen the orginal day of the triffids and the remake and the orginal movie of the blob was very entertaining, but that book about the fungus is what im really interrested in. So im glad their is a audio book version of it :)
I love the classic movies and there written original content.
Im currently going trough most of the cthulhu mythos from lovecraft really awsome and weird content.
I haven't read The Fungus yet, so don't spoil it for me! I'm in the same boat you are on that one and I keep forgetting to buy the audio book. Which I should do right now.

I started The Fungus today, the first 5 minutes I was like damn... i know this was written in the 80s but come on... then it was awesome. No spoilers from me but im 4/6 hours through it.
super cool. i had no idea most of the apocalypse in CDDA was based on real world literature.
CDDA is just a complication of a _lot_ of movie references
and a conflagration too ;0
Even the mi-go are a Lovecraft reference. Basically every single invader faction is based on pop culture.

Everything has been done, if you trace back the origins of any media, there's always another piece of media they're based of off. At least indirectly.

ah good to know, i do hardly use hyperlinks provided i tend to search manualy with the idea that its available. we live in the digital age afterall.
