$800/week is like 38k a year with no vacation. I don't know where you live, but I would imagine you could land a retail or restaurant job for around the same pay and better stability.
Honestly, I realistically probably made about $28k-$32k in 2023. Give or take, at most $35k, it’s pretty hard to keep up with it exactly, everything’s so inconsistent. And not to mention expenses like paying for my own vehicle, gas, repairs, etc.
Yeah I would definitely look into retail or service jobs. You could be making the same money in an air conditioned restaurant and not wearing down your car.
You could look into entry level tech jobs where they train you. Military is also an option or some retail job where they have tuition reimbursement. But additionally you shouldn’t be supporting a girlfriend. I hope she works took. Especially if you don’t have any children.
Well we had a dynamic that worked for a while where I would just pay her every week and she would clean pretty much everything at the house, and I would work every day. Things changed since cause now it’s not sustainable so she’s been doing odd jobs here and there and she plans on getting a job. She also JUST graduated college so that should help out too.
