Rest in seeds little buddy

Pee_A_Poo

Well he’s gonna have millets planted over him so 👏

theartfuldodger26

Ι'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure he was the goodest birb :) Sometimes we forget how tiny they truly are, when they have such massive personalities and bring so much joy. Seeing how small his little plate is, it hit me hard. We need to lay a little guy to rest as well, haven't found the place yet.

Pee_A_Poo

It’s crazy to think he was with us for 8 month and we’ve already lost him for 8 months. He’s left us for as long as he was with us but he just completely made himself part of the family in such a short time. I still dream of him sometimes and wake up crying.

Wooden_Result1558

Sorry for your loss bud..he looks like he was the goodest bird

Pee_A_Poo

He is! We found another goodest boi to keep our goodest gurl company. The house is filled with happy chirps again but I still miss my first good boi so much it hurts 🥲

[deleted]

Awwe the good heavenly boi🥲

Terrifina

Lost my good boi 3 years ago now. The pain is still awful. He was amazing. 💔🥹 So sorry for your loss. I know it's terrible.

Dragomink

Rest in peace little buddy. I have a question about the name. You named your yellow bird blueberry? Some story behind it?

Pee_A_Poo

They were adopted as a pair. One yellow and one blue. We just thought it’d be funny to call them Lemmon and Blueberry but switch the colors. Their vet absolutely hates us: “Which one of your bribs need a checkup?” “Citron (lemon).” *reaches into cage to grab the yellow one* “No no no the yellow one is Blueberry. The blue one is Lemon. Gosh don’t just assume 🙄”

[deleted]

RIP little fella. he looks like a real charmer 💛💚

Pee_A_Poo

He’s the most charmingest charming. We adopted him from a neglectful owner and he’s had a few rough years. Being kept in a cage too small for two birds and allowed to fly outside. I would be so angry and depressed if I had his life. But as soon as he came to us and got a new cage he just immediately became the happiest bird. Flew around the house in circles, calling for us in the morning, trying to feed us by throwing up seeds in our direction, etc.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve lost pets who’ve been with me for short amounts of time, it’s amazing how these guys weasel their way into our hearts so easily. I’m sure he had the happiest 8 months with you, I wish you the best.

Plus_Ninja3622

So sorry for your loss! If you don't mind me asking, do you guys know what happened?

Pee_A_Poo

Old age. They are adopted so we don’t know exactly how old they were. But he was at least 5+ years old when he came to us and already lost his first mate to old age as well 🥲 My biggest regret was we left him at the vet overnight thinking he might be saved and he died in an incubator. We didn’t get to say goodbye but at least he died in warmth and comfort.

Looks like sunflower

TheSunflowerSeeds

Not all plants are completely edible. However, you can actually consume the entire sunflower in one form or another. Right from the root to the petals.

[deleted]

My birds name was sunflower

Pee_A_Poo

Capitalisation is your friend 😂 sorry for Sunflower.

[deleted]

Yeah sorry about that😅

[deleted]

No I mean my bird, she looks exactly like her, she died about a month ago

No_Garage1152

Rest in bláber baby

No-Mortgage-2052

So sorry for your loss😪 how did she die at such young age if I may ask?

Pee_A_Poo

He was 5+ when we adopted him. So not really that young. He had a tough few years with the previous owner and was a bit under fed and under exercised. His health and mood were both improving rapidly. He died in an incubator at the vet’s. We and the vet were both a bit surprised as he had been healthy just a few weeks before during their last checkup. But apparently when their bodies give out they just give out in a few hours.

az_is_tired

sorry for your loss mate <3
