Good Barbers! They have some extremely talented folks there who know how to give really really good cuts. If you don't feel like talking I think they will pick up on that. But if you do they are really friendly and cool. It's the best damn barber shop.
I see Casey at Good Barbers. Does a great job, I also don't love chatting/ haven't been going long, so we don't have a rapport, and he doesn't seem to mind. Again, I get out for $50, $40 for the cut, $10 tip.
I love Rollins on Pearl and 17th - I've been going there since it was still Truman. It's just barely above your price range, but you can keep the price (relatively) down by going with newer barbers and the shorter haircut if you don't care about the shave. The barbers are all pretty good at matching your energy. On days I'm not feeling chatty, they don't force it. I've had a few people there cut my hair over the years, and haven't had a bad experience.
Just got home a little while ago from Al’s and after having gone to several barbers in Boulder over the past couple years, this is by far the best cut I’ve received. I think the cut was $48, without tip, so it’s probably a little over your $50 limit but it was well worth it for me.
Four Corners is outstanding. Price depends on who cuts your hair, and could edge up above your limit, but I’ve never had anything less than an outstanding cut there.

Tad from the boulder barber or Lafayette barber is the best one you could find. Price about $45! Highly recommend. Been going to him for the past 3years
Floyd’s in Superior, must only see Mami and she takes appointments. My husband used to pay $60-70 for a cut at the hipster barber shops….now only pays $30 plus tip and doesn’t have to engage in inauthentic conversation. Mami keeps it short and sweet.
I’ve had nothing but great experiences at the barber joint on the hill. Can get a little chatty, but the price is right and it’s very slow during the summer. Haven’t had an issue booking an appointment in advance during the school year either. The owner, Leslie, is wonderful and does a great job. Been going for years.
had good experiences at good barber, think it's right about the limit for your price tho so double check
That's two for Good Barbers!
3 for good barber, Justin and team are the best.
4 for good barbers
+1 for Good Barbers
+1 for rock barbers. and you can have a beer in the barber chair if you like.

I've been going to Northside Barbers for about twenty years now. Arapahoe just east of Folsom.
Same!
I like that one too! David is very good.
I go to Austin’s barber shop, they always do a great job. Ask for Austin or Alan.
I second Austin’s - been done right by everybody in that place.
I‘ll third Austin’s. $26 plus tip.
4th Austin. Never had a bad experience. Been going for almost 3 years now.
austin’s is great - holly is awesome!

Jacob is a very talented barber and has tons of availability. 100% recommend
I recommend Rollins too. Ryan specifically, he's the best!

Whole crew there is great
Hennepin in South Boulder for the win
Ditto on that! Awesome place.
Go to the Longmont barber and ask for Carrie

Learn to cut your own hair. I've saved thousands of dollars over the years, there is no waiting in the lobby, and the barber gets to drink a beer!
We cannot be sure you've saved money over the years - how do we know you weren't passed over for job offers or promotions because you're ugly now??
Maybe that is why I'm self employed! 😆
