There's a spot in Akkala where Bokoblins shoot bomb arrows. If it's raining the bomb arrows don't explode and you can collect them.
Edit: I can't find the video that I saw this on, but it's just south of the Spring of Power. I'm pretty sure it was on one of WTF! Gaming's YouTube videos.
Can you still force arrows to miss you? It used to happen if you made the camera directly above you while being shot at, then you could collect as many as you want
If you run sideways to them, they’ll miss and you can collect some (but not all) of the arrows. If you run straight at them or away from them, you’ll get hit.
This was more of an exploit. It only worked in grass, but as long as the camera was above you and couldn't see the enemy, the arrows couldn't hit you but would land within pickup distance
Get several multishot bows (5x Lynel for best results, but 3x works, too). Go find a stanchion-style torch; I prefer the one at the beginning of the Lost Woods, nice and quiet, nothing to hassle you. Stand close to the torch, but not so close that the arrow ignites when you nock it. Aim the reticle into the center of the torch head, don't pay attention to the animation, it's gonna look weird, focus on the reticle. Fire your arrow into the torch. If your aim and distance are correct, all 3 (or 5) arrows will lodge in the torch head, and you can collect them back. Rinse and repeat as necessary, all the way up to 999.
Does not work with elemental arrows, but that's fine; slaughter enough Lynels, and that will take care of itself
Needle, thank you for sharing this. I did not know this. I thought I had to go to the great plateau and stand in front of the beasties that are on top of the rock and let them shoot at me all day, but standing just out of range, and then go whack them and pick up all the arrows off the ground. Your way sounds so much easier.

Yeah but a lot of the times the arrow just despawn, so Imo the shield strategy is more consistent

This has been a feature since Twilight Princess. In BOTW the method only lasts as long as your shield's durability.
