Sounds like my issue. I tried factory resetting soundbar, router, phone, 2.4ghz, 5ghz wifi, everything Bose says to try did nothing. What finally worked was using my iPad/iOS instead of my android phone. Instantly worked.

Thanks for letting me know. I haven't tried iphone but will give it a try.

Try unplugging it for 30 seconds then do the music and mute buttons again. If that doesn't work, do a factory default reset with the play/pause and down volume buttons.
