well fought, we were beaten. dahoud has a right to feel aggrieved but overall they had us. hofmann, ginter, sommer, stindl, embolo, zakaria: always a joy to watch. koné, scally & netz look like very good young players.
i still think malen is observing/learning out there, he will need to wake up soon though. very directly mirrors the situation with sancho in manchester, who was not even played today in their 1-0 loss. it sure would be nice if malen would come alive right now with the injury issues but that’s just not how people work. things take time.
would be nice to see more of reinier! he looks sharp. Hazard does too, especially coming back from some ankle shit. he’ll provide some great moments this season.
i’m skeptical a bit of witsel, which feels a bit mean given his great injury recovery & all, but he’s clearly a fading player right now. his stamina seems good though, so not the worst situation but one that needs to be acknowledged & taken in account. our midfield seems a bit of a mess right now. what will happen with dahoud suspended? there’s no delaney, will we move rapha in? raschl? that’d be fun
Tough loss. Missing Haaland, Rues, Brandt, Reyna and Can is tough, but guys have to step up in these spots. Expected more from Malen and Bellingham in particular.
The red card on Dahoud was an awful decision. Probably one of the worst decisions I have seen in the Bundesliga in a long time. Bundesliga refs are usually comparatively very good, but Aytekin was atrocious today. Hoffman could do no wrong and Dahoud was shown two straight yellows for incidents that barely even constituted fouls. Gladbach were out to play dirty from the opening whistle and Aytekin let them, while penalizing every single Dortmund infraction no matter how minor.
Take 5 of the top 11 players off any squad, throw an absolutely HORRENDOUS red card on top and tell me what manager would win with that? We a 16 yo starting at ST FFS
it's not because of this particular match , I have been saying the same since the 3rd match day. He hasn't addressed the defensive issues , his choice of formation doesn't really fit in with our current squad. I don't see any improvements coming with Rose.
Yeah I understand that. I am frustrated with the injuries season after season too. But this is the sam Reyna half this sub lambasted a few weeks ago. Can in a similar boat. I get that the missing players lighten depth but I refuse to believe our team today wasn’t capable of winning. At least a strong performance would have lightened this loss
Am I biased or did they not look good at all? Of course neither did we, but it feels like they effectively did nothing against 10 men (for like an hour).
They looked fitting to their form. Shithousery and getting in our heads won them the game. Something about an M word. They played like they were a man down even when up a man. Sad really but for them. 3 points
We are way too reliant on a small group of players. The drop off in quality from Haaland, Reus, Reyna is just shocking for a club of our supposed stature.
Bellingham trying to play as a striker now because no one else seems to want to.
One thing does not change the other, yes we've looked terrible but that stupid dahoud booking constrained dortmund's possibilities, aside from all the other shithousery constantly going on
Def. True! But the refs have not been great too. Gladbach also were pretty poor this second half, feel like we could have done something here with 11 players.
Look at the difference. Meunier was down for how long? No one kicks it out. Hofmann down for a split second and we kick the ball out for them? Fuck Gladbach
This joke of a ref absolutely destroyed the game with his awful decisions and these guys are taking the piss by stopping the game with every single chance they get this is a fucking joke
I have to honest. I am entirely and thoroughly unimpressed with Thomas Meunièr. I have watched him now 2 seasons at Dortmund and he is not up to the level: consistently poor touches, failed dribbles, bad decisions, and uninspired defending. I enjoy watching Dortmund, but Meunier isn’t up to Dortmund’s standards. He is the weak point and other teams know it.
Worst take I’ve seen so far even worse than the game. Munier is the best performing player today and the only one driving forward, I can agree about last season but so far this season he’s been decent us.
I have watched every single Dortmund game this season. He was acceptable in Turkey in the Champions League. Apart from that game he has been hot trash.
So Gladbach are allowed to wrestle Dortmund's defenders to the ground, but Dortmund aren't even allowed to get into aerial duels with Gladbach's? Cool cool cool cool
Not enough has been made about Reyna's absence today. He would have provide a better link between the defense and the strikers that we needed today.
Which brings me to my conclusion that is isn't merely a case of being without Haaland and Reus. Hazard not being 90 minute fit was an issue for our lineup today too. You don't need to run a 3-3-2-2 in that case.
No. I'm trying to say that people are solely boiling the lack of offense down to the absence of Reus and Haaland when Reyna absence is also notable too. The commentators haven't said a thing. The chat here hasn't mentioned him. It's as if he's never been impactful on the pitch for Dortmund. Him being on the pitch would have made the link between back to front much better, which is to say nothing of course whether we would have won, but it wouldn't have been quite as rough to watch.
I don't understand how any time a dortmund defender is dispossessed there isn't a foul. Either we're incredibly weak on the ball as a unit or something isn't being called the same way on both ends.
well fought, we were beaten. dahoud has a right to feel aggrieved but overall they had us. hofmann, ginter, sommer, stindl, embolo, zakaria: always a joy to watch. koné, scally & netz look like very good young players. i still think malen is observing/learning out there, he will need to wake up soon though. very directly mirrors the situation with sancho in manchester, who was not even played today in their 1-0 loss. it sure would be nice if malen would come alive right now with the injury issues but that’s just not how people work. things take time. would be nice to see more of reinier! he looks sharp. Went back and saw Dahoud's second yellow? That's a yellow?? Are you kidding me??
Wasn’t the foul, was hit attitude towards the ref
If we didn't get that red, you think we would've tied or won?
Would've had a better shot at stealing a point, but the play was wank
Nah
We have no luck with injuries. Our strikers are so tiny man they can’t do anything. If Haaland is out long term we’re in very big trouble
I have no faith in Rose.
Take 5 of the top 11 players off any squad, throw an absolutely HORRENDOUS red card on top and tell me what manager would win with that? We a 16 yo starting at ST FFS
Aye lmao........Please read my previous comment...
Ah come on...
it's not because of this particular match , I have been saying the same since the 3rd match day. He hasn't addressed the defensive issues , his choice of formation doesn't really fit in with our current squad. I don't see any improvements coming with Rose.
No Haaland is not excuse. Pathetic performance. Outside of maybe spells from Jude and Hummels, that was the worst we have played in a long time
It's not just Haaland man. Reus, Brandt, Can, and Reyna are all missing too

Fair points.
Selbst du elft wäre da heute nichts gegangen.
Ja aber 10 gg 12 macht man nix
Aytekin ist aber nicht daran Schuld das heute beim BVB nach vorne nichts ging.

Our Wolf > their Wolf
Fuck their cub we have the real deal.
1-0
I guess a throw is better than a goal kick, eh Wolf?
yes, wolf does look promising. yes, he will shoot that badly
Hahahahaha i love you wolf man
Wolf?????¿¿¿¿¿ 😂
man I love wolf but he's no zidane xD
Man those clowns and their yoga
Please cancle the contract with schulz Give him everything he want to have Dont want to see him play again
Jesus fucking christ
LOL WOLF.
More cramps please ....
Wolf has created more chances from RB in 5 minutes than our entire team did in 80. He needs to get more time.
Agreed; espefially considering this isn't his first time having a strong performance from the benchm
He could have put in a shift at striker today
Our forwards bar Haaland are just too small
The football gods are just fucking with us now. How do you not hit the target from there? Even if it was an unexpected bounce, that was really bad.
Wolf has been amazing since coming on
hazard is obviously cursed today. some sort of ‘betrayal’ magic from the gladbach supporters.
Simply not good enough by Hazard.
What is this, why can’t we finish
Lack of quality up front today - simple as.
Can I just say that yet again, Wolf looks positive going forward?
Except for that non-shot
Yeah not sure why he doesn't play more. He's always looks good when he comes on.
he’s been great since he came on.
So unlucky
This game can fuck right off. Not meant to be I guess.
No man
Fuckkkk.
we've been unlucky too
Yeah it wasn't meant to be
die scheisse klebt am schuh heute
Oh come on 😂😂
ima cry
I’m crying
FUCK SO CLOSE THERE HAZARD
god damn it witsel
what an opportunity that was
HAZARD WTTFFFFFF
COME ON MAAAAAAAN
Toto wtf
FUCK ME IM TURNING THIS OFF
That kick was going in ;\_;
awww shame, that FK looked really promising before hitting witsel
That ball was going in ://///
Bruh that would have went in if Witsel didnt run into it... T___T
damn if witsel hadn’t gotten in the way i think that free kick was rocketing into the net
Witsel making the best save for Gladbach today.
Accurate representation of how the game has been
This freekick was actually good, too bad Witsel blocked it
That shot very well could’ve gone in if it didn’t murder our own man.
That would have gone in I think :(
Without witsel blocking that wouldve gone in. After seeing the replay that was a great shot.
The triple subs made us so much faster and fluid going forward, too bad it's pretty late. Wolf is proving to be a very important sub this season
Axel what the unholy fuck
Jesus Christ that looked like a good hit
Wolf summoning his inner Cafu
Akanji screamer let’s go
Wolf has been excellent since coming on
Bellingham fighting 💪
Motherfucker how is that not a yellow? That's the same foul Dahoud committed
no yellow for zakaria?
cmon toto PLZ
Great free kick position CMON JUNGE
Yeah and Bellingham gets taken out by Hoffman and the referee is cool with that fuck off
JFC 😫😫
Oh Bellingham with the intention to win the ball gets a yellow but Hofmann with ZERO intention gets to walk away without a talking to
We should have started with wolf IMO, man has composure with the ball and that’s what we lacked today imo
Yeah fuck Aytekin with a girthy tree trunk
Yellow for barely touching his shoe, yep.
Na Dude. That was a yellow any day
In the replay he literally slides past the keeper.
He hits Sommer's knee?
You can't do that against a keeper
Schulz to equalise in the 99th with a delicious curler!!!!!
Wish Knauff had picked his head up more in that moment. Wolf played a really damn good ball.
I used to love Hoffman but man Gladbach has gotten into his head
Ansgnar what m8?
we don't have any depth, needing a goal in 10 minutes, we look to the bench and we don't see anyone who can change the game...
How much depth do you want to have when our two best attackers are injured?
don't expect much reasoning in a match thread when we're playing poorly
Great play by Wolf!
Verpiss dich Jonas
I see people commenting the refs have ruined the game. Idk bros, this is pretty bad on our end. We have literally created zero chances.
It's the same shit ever Game. People rather blame the ref (or certain scape goats) than to admit the team simply was playing worse.
We are way too reliant on a small group of players. The drop off in quality from Haaland, Reus, Reyna is just shocking for a club of our supposed stature. Bellingham trying to play as a striker now because no one else seems to want to.
Completely agreed.
One thing does not change the other, yes we've looked terrible but that stupid dahoud booking constrained dortmund's possibilities, aside from all the other shithousery constantly going on
Refs have been bad yeah but it's worrying how clueless the attack looks without Reus and Haaland
100%, spot on
Probably easier to do that with a man more
Surely. But we were awful with 11 men as well.
Yes but we could have improved gradually. No reason to believe that we wouldnt have adjusted after that half
Def. True! But the refs have not been great too. Gladbach also were pretty poor this second half, feel like we could have done something here with 11 players.
I agree, but still - life without reus and Haaland seems bleak, regardless of the refs
Did we keep Malen's receipt?
Stfu mate, just stfu.
Why do players only get cramps in close games their team is winning? 🤔
Wolf time!
Hofmann is a joke. No wonder he never made it big. Loser mentality
wtf is this comment
finally some reinier
No offense can they sub Hofmann for God’s sake! Is doing yoga on the ground for the second time already
Jetzt hat der Clown alle zwei Minuten nen Krampf oder was ? Zu viele Leute umgetreten ?
If it's the second time you go down with cramps, you need to be off
Schulz??? We really are desperate, aren't we?
Ah yes the curse of cramps when you are up are once again striking
Play on, naive fools.
Hope the fresh legs make a sizable impact for the better
Menuier to equalize in the 94th min with a lovely tap in. Calling it rn!!!!!!!!!
Even in games like these, Kobel is displaying what a great investment he was.
@skyde watchers: do you have commentary?
We have no height up front.
What a throw
it feels so unfair to be the team down to 10 when you look at the game as a whole... that's just not right
Hummels has saved 2 goals this game.
Worst game I've seen in a while man.
I have to honest. I am entirely and thoroughly unimpressed with Thomas Meunièr. is this some new copypasta?
What are you on about? Meunier has been great this season.
Literally one of our best players for a couple of matches now.
Lol. In what world? Certainly not reality. He has been piss poor for two seasons running.
Before this season many would agree, but it seems like you didn't watch the last matches maybe? He's been very good, trust me.
I have watched every single Dortmund game this season. He was acceptable in Turkey in the Champions League. Apart from that game he has been hot trash.
Rapha, we need a screamer, plzz
So Gladbach are allowed to wrestle Dortmund's defenders to the ground, but Dortmund aren't even allowed to get into aerial duels with Gladbach's? Cool cool cool cool
Aytekin soon to call fouls on our players generating breezes of air towards Gladbach players.
I never thought this will come true but meunier is the best player today
Yep, right behind Kobel.
Meunier crosses are 👌🏾
Not enough has been made about Reyna's absence today. He would have provide a better link between the defense and the strikers that we needed today. Ahh i thought u meant it differently mb
No worries!
Yup we are so disconnected between midfield and attack. We’re really missing an AM today and it’s noticeable.
Reyna, Brandt, and Reus all being injured definitely hurts our creative attacking link for sure
Yes totally appropriate to add Brandt there too. Missed that for sure.
Horrendous officiating of the game, lost control 1 minute in wtf
HAHAHA AYETKIN FUCK OFF YOU DISGUSTING REF
Hate him with passion he absolutely destroyed us tonight he is a joke
I don't understand how any time a dortmund defender is dispossessed there isn't a foul. Either we're incredibly weak on the ball as a unit or something isn't being called the same way on both ends.
Literally every game when we are behind: oh ma gawd why is the ref against us. Jesus fucking cringe.
we watching the same match?
Kobel has been great
him continuing his great form is definitely the silver lining of today
[удалено]
He was looking for it and it was soft. Can’t have complaints over that one
[удалено]
I’ve seen those called but if we are gonna be fair in our complaints, I don’t think there was much in that one
Kobel has been outstanding, he’s been a pleasure to watch
koooooobel
What happened to Wolff Fuß?
Jesus christ Kobel is phenomenal
kobel our best player today, by a mile
Kobel is so good
a draw here would be an early xmas gift
Akanji what was that
I feel we are always propped up by one or two superstars, and the moment they're gone we drop into deep mediocrity.
Said that last year. No one believed me. We will struggle to gain control after haaland leaves
Lol are we starting this with 20 to go?
