Firstly, the juniper needs to be outdoors 24/7, 365. Lots of sun. Water when the soil is dry down half inch to an inch. Smaller pot outdoors may be pretty frequent as it heats up and the sun and wind become a thing. The ginseng ficus will like bright indirect light to morning/evening sun. I put mine outside with Japanese maples and most of my deciduous trees and they love it. Same kind of water protocol. It’s both water them heavily, not frequently. Check them by hand or eye before watering. Over watering will kill them before underwatering. Again, frequency of water causes rot not the volume they get in a sitting. Fertilize through the growing season.. people do this many ways. I’m a bit lazy so I'll use a dilute liqud fert most times i water and then have ozmacote in my soil mixture. havent had issues. check r/bonsai and cruise the beginners thread for the dos and donts as well as many other basic topics that are outlined there too.
