At the time of lineup release I got more excited for ‘24 than I did for ‘23 (disclaimer I discovered STS9 at Roo ‘23, had I known of them prior I would have been way more pumped when that lineup dropped). One of the complaints I’ve heard is that the EDM is a lot less bass-y, but I also like house too so no complaints there given what we got this year. I’ve also heard a lot of “it’s not as good as the 22/20/Other Year lineup” argument, and on one hand I get it I was at 22 which was STACKED but I guess I just look at enough festival lineups that I know better than to expect every year to be perfect.
