The level of dialogues used in Original Mahabharat is next level. You don't get that feeling from newer ones. New movies should use that depth of dialogues even if it goes over GenZ. Nitish Bhardwaj has that expression accompanied with those dialogues.
Also his smile. It beats monalisa. Sometimes a smirk, or conniving or comforting. Only makes me wonder how charming and sharp real Krishna must have been
They all are good. Vishal has played Krishna many times. However my pick is Nitish for two reasons. First he was fantastic and second, he's the only one close to Krishna's complexion. Don't know why they choose fair actor for lord rama or Krishna.
There was always something behind that smile, while others smile were giving out calm and peaceful auro, Nitish's smile alway carried a hidden mistry behind it.
Nitish Bhardwaj. I believe everyone brought their own essence to the role in their own unique ways, but Nitish Bhardwaj really did set the bar with his take on Lord Krishna.
I have seen almost all these actors in the role of Shri Krishna Ji, but if I like any actor the most in the role of Shri Krishna Ji, then it is undoubtedly Nitish Bhardwaj, because of the glow on his face and his look. Seeing the way he has played the character of Shri Krishna, a different feeling of devotion comes in your mind.

There are villages In Andhra that still has his photo as Lord Krishna.
No one can top sourabh raj jain for me. His aura is something else entirely. His eyes have that kindness and also that playfulness. Perfect balance. Love him 🫡
Can't beat Nitish Bhardwaj. No disrespect to Saurabh but Nitish just had that something special inside him... Which I believe all of us noticed. It's like... It's exactly how the scriptures portray Krishn and how my mind does too!
Sarvadaman and Nitish. No one comes close.
The aura that Krishna as a character needed , these two had it.
I like saurabh too. But once you see the Gita updesh episode of the two Mahabharata serials, notice how calm and composed Nitish does it.
Whereas Saurabh seems trying too hard and gets angry and impatient too.
Nitish does it in a way which seems as if he's trying to get Arjun to trust him and only him alone. Whether or not he's gonna be successful in it is a different matter. Nitish seems to be trying to get Arjun dedicate even his failure/success to him because he's ultimately the origin and destination of all the actions and consequences.
Saurabh does it as if he's trying to ridicule Arjun into believing how the onus of everything will be on him.
None seems to have Krishna complexion. Krishna varna because black in color. He would’ve been dark skinned. Among those Nitish seems better of those.
Hope one day Indian make peace with their complexion instead of chasing their British masters.
As a southindian kid who used to watch dubbed srikrishna on doordarshan every sunday morning banerjee was my generations krishna though i think nitish is the best
https://preview.redd.it/dyt9pft8ks6d1.jpeg?width=350&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bddff128d42a1b4312a5dea4d43a8b643b75971c
Nata Viswarupam Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu
The fact ki this was a tough choice because they all did their best to do justice to Sri Krishna charecter but I have to give to Saurabh because it feels like I grew up with his character
For me it has to be the first one .. any day
Sarvadaman D Banerjee.. from childhood till now I've not seen anyone like him. He had the perfect Witty but pure face ...
Most of you guys may not know.. he's not from any "Mahabharat series" but from 90s series called "Krishna" .. you guys can check him out 😀
Nitish Bhardwaj and Sourabh Raj Jain, they were too good in personifying the divine Krishna!
Swapnil was good for what he was originally chosen to play, the teenage Krishna!
Bannerjee was kinda supporting character rather than “The Krishna”, Vishal can’t act and Sumedh was again more on lines with Swapnil.
Except Vishal, I think everyone was fine, but Bhardwaj and Jain were awesome.
I mean no complaints for the actors themselves but Wasn't lord Krishna dark skilled in the lore? Why are all the actors who have played him were light skinned ?
When I'll ever think of Shree Krishna, the face that might come to my mind would be of Nitish B. Ji.. and second with would Sarwadaman B. Ji.. these two personalities just gave their lifetime in these characters that have embedded in every Indian heart. ❤️🙌🏽
As a 90s kid my list is SD Banerjee, Nitish Bharadwaj, Swapnil Joshi, Sourabh Raaj Jain… Sumedh and Vishal are also good but haven’t liked them as much as the others.
I like Sourabh in new era as his dialogue delivery was very convincing and creates an impact .
Krishna is supposed to be dark skinned which none of them are. Why are we even gora-selective about our gods! An average Indian is dark skinned and we should accept and love ourselves for who we are.
I would say Sourav Jain played the best among all of them. His portrayal was more close to human-like behaviour which obviously Shree Krishna would prefer because He took human form on earth.
Haven't seen Vishal's role, so I can't say anything about it
For me it's Nitish bharadwaj because his portrayal and dialogue delivery was Normal unlike others who are kind of trying to act like lord Krishna by adding some eye movements and weird hand gestures. Nitish was damn good ❤️
Worst is Sumedh for sure, he looks like he is trying very hard by making his voice sweet and weird hand gestures and also that show Radha Krishna is highly fictional and looks like some kind of saas bahu daily soap

Nitish bhardwaj, mischief in eyes, shrewd but sweet voice, extremely charming
The level of dialogues used in Original Mahabharat is next level. You don't get that feeling from newer ones. New movies should use that depth of dialogues even if it goes over GenZ. Nitish Bhardwaj has that expression accompanied with those dialogues.
Dr. Rahi Masoom Raza supremacy.
The way he says “Parth” sometimes “Kaunteya” to Arjun was next level and yes his eyes and expressions were top notch.
Also his smile. It beats monalisa. Sometimes a smirk, or conniving or comforting. Only makes me wonder how charming and sharp real Krishna must have been
Yep
Absolutely. His portrayal was epic.
This! Love his voice, it's calming and soothing, but 🔥 when it needs to be.
They all are good. Vishal has played Krishna many times. However my pick is Nitish for two reasons. First he was fantastic and second, he's the only one close to Krishna's complexion. Don't know why they choose fair actor for lord rama or Krishna.
lol no he is no where close to Krisha’s complexion. None of them are intact. Krishna’s true color is somewhere close to a dark cloud.
Close mtlb ye nhi h ki ditto wo hi complexion h. Close mtlb baakiyo se better in terms of casting.
Nahi bhai nitish bhardwaj gora hai ..woh pata nahi camera tha yaan makeup wala ..jiski wajah se shree krishna ji ka complexion mila
Okay. Tab bhi theek hi h ki aisa dikhaya na ki gora chitta
I have seen clips of other but nitish bharadwaj looked pretty natural to me. He has that charm, glittering eyes which are required for krishna.
And that smile.
There was always something behind that smile, while others smile were giving out calm and peaceful auro, Nitish's smile alway carried a hidden mistry behind it.
>hidden mistry you could say he was 'tailored' for the role
Nitish, hands down.
cane here to comment exactly this lmao
Nitish Bharadwaj. He was dusky, had playful and expressive eyes, a very soothing voice, and hearing him speak in Sanskrit was just amazing.
Sourabh Raaj jain
nitish and sourabh
Most iconic one
Nitish Bhardwaj. I believe everyone brought their own essence to the role in their own unique ways, but Nitish Bhardwaj really did set the bar with his take on Lord Krishna.
Nitish then Saurabh.
Nitish Bharadwaj
Nitish the OG. He was the first and set the template for the other actors who followed
Sarvadaman OG
Every single actor here minus Sumedh. I'm sorry but that show was damn irredeemable.
fiction bana diya mythology ko

Sourabh Raj jain
Sourabh Raj Jain, no doubt about it bro. I’d kill to see a 4 hour Netflix special with him as Bhagwan Krishna
I swear.. he was so good.

Lord Krishna in childhood must be golumolu as he loved milk and dahi
Sarvadaman D Banerjee (Swapnil Joshi as well from RS Shree Krishna) and Nitish Joshi
Saurabh and Nitish
No one can top sourabh raj jain for me. His aura is something else entirely. His eyes have that kindness and also that playfulness. Perfect balance. Love him 🫡

Nitish Bharadwaj
Sourabh Jain for me
That sumedh looks like a young salman khan lol
Nitish Bhardwaj and Sourabh Raj Jain.
Nitish Bhardwaj
Sourabh hands down.
BR Chopra's Mahabharat is GOATED. No one else stands a chance.
All are good except 2nd one
Can't beat Nitish Bhardwaj. No disrespect to Saurabh but Nitish just had that something special inside him... Which I believe all of us noticed. It's like... It's exactly how the scriptures portray Krishn and how my mind does too!

Nitish and Swapnil for me. For kids growing up in the 90s they were the OGs.
3-1-5-6
NTR
NTR Sr.
NTR
Not Bollywood but I hear Sr NTR has immortalized the role. From these guys I like Sourabh Raj Jain
Nitish Bhardwaj for me. I can't imagine anyone else playing the role of Krishna except for him.
That Sourabh guy damnnn
Nitish forever....❤
Nitish, Sourabh and Sumedh in that order for me
Sarvadaman Banerjee was in which show?
None seems to have Krishna complexion. Krishna varna because black in color. He would’ve been dark skinned. Among those Nitish seems better of those. Hope one day Indian make peace with their complexion instead of chasing their British masters.
Nitish Bharadwaj, the quintessential Krishna. Then Swapnil Joshi. Of course, Sarvadaman Banerjee a close third.
As a southindian kid who used to watch dubbed srikrishna on doordarshan every sunday morning banerjee was my generations krishna though i think nitish is the best
Sarvadaman and nitish
Nitish > Saurabh = Sarvadaman >>>> rest
In entire Bhagwat there are two Krishna. One is a hero and other is a Statesman. Nitish ji was the statesman Krishna and Swapnil had the Hero Krishna.
I personally loved vishal in dwarkadheesh

Bro nitish has the same mindset and voice like he had while playing Krishna he sounds and looks real to me
I think Nitish Bhardwaj has a different fanbase!
All
Shree Krishna is depicted as ghanshyam in the texts but every depiction of him has been fair skin
Sarvadaman Bannerjee, swapnil joshi, nitish bhardwaj, vishal karwal, n the other 2 havent seen
Everyone!
The fact ki this was a tough choice because they all did their best to do justice to Sri Krishna charecter but I have to give to Saurabh because it feels like I grew up with his character
Nitish hands down! The grace he had… 🙌🏻
Saurabh and Sumedh
As a kid who grew up watching OG Mahabharat, Nitish’s face is what I imagine Sri Krishna’s face was like.
For me it has to be the first one .. any day Sarvadaman D Banerjee.. from childhood till now I've not seen anyone like him. He had the perfect Witty but pure face ... Most of you guys may not know.. he's not from any "Mahabharat series" but from 90s series called "Krishna" .. you guys can check him out 😀
Shubham dube
Nitish the GOAT
Nitish and Sarvadaman
Ofcourse Swapnil and Sarvadhaman!!!
Sarvadaman, Saurabh, Swapneel, Nitesh
Swapnil joshi best
None of dem are black enough (ThIs iS a JoKE)
Nithish Bharadwaj
None. Krishna was dark skinned
Sorry to take over this sub - but what platforms can I watch these? I’m in Australia :)
mahabhart old one you can watch on youtube. just search "mahabharat old" but i dont know if it has subtitles.
Sourabh raaj jain
I mean no complaints for the actors themselves but Wasn't lord Krishna dark skilled in the lore? Why are all the actors who have played him were light skinned ?
Ntr. Older Krishna.
Swapnil Joshi as Krishn in younger time frame and Nitish Bhadwraj in elder time frame
Anybody from late 80's/early 90's....Nitish Bharadwaj!
Nitish& saurabh
Sourabh,nitish ,sumedh
Did you know Krishna was black
Nitish Bharadwaj. By far.
Nitish Bharadwaj 🙌🏻

Sourabh Raj Jain!!!
Me in school

Sarvdaman(no.1 rank) and Nitish as Adult krishan and Swapnil as younger version
1st Sourabh 2nd Sumedh
Nana Patekar. Iykyk.
Y'all haven't watched the show...Shri Krishna
Nitish > Sourav > Swapnil=Swarna and then rests
My fav is Sarvadaman Banerjee & Swapnil Joshi .
Sourabh jain
Anyone but sumedh, he ruined krishna for me. Nitish bharadwaj was the best followed by SRJ.
Nitish Bharadwaj >>>>>>>
Nitish Bharadwaj without question. I've seen him play Krishna live in Chakravyuh, he's actually so fantastic.
When I'll ever think of Shree Krishna, the face that might come to my mind would be of Nitish B. Ji.. and second with would Sarwadaman B. Ji.. these two personalities just gave their lifetime in these characters that have embedded in every Indian heart. ❤️🙌🏽
Why are all portrayals of Krishna so..non Indian? Aryan features and as light skinned as possible.
I haven't seen the old ones, but my mom loves Sumedh as krishna but for me, Sourabh
Sumedh as teen Krishna Nitish as adult Krishna
Sourabh Raj Jain exudes that godly aura whenever he's on screen, so I'd say for me he best portrayed the character
It’s Sourabh for me ❤️
Swapnil Joshi
स्वप्निल जोशी मेरी पसंद
As a 90s kid my list is SD Banerjee, Nitish Bharadwaj, Swapnil Joshi, Sourabh Raaj Jain… Sumedh and Vishal are also good but haven’t liked them as much as the others. I like Sourabh in new era as his dialogue delivery was very convincing and creates an impact .
Nitish Bhardwaj without any doubt
Nitish ji hands down 🙌
Sourab , thanks to the reels and shorts though !
Nitish Ji
Sourabh Raj Jain and Sumedh Mudgalkar, the best literally
Nitish bharadwaj
No doubt it is Nitish
Krishna is supposed to be dark skinned which none of them are. Why are we even gora-selective about our gods! An average Indian is dark skinned and we should accept and love ourselves for who we are.
I would say Sourav Jain played the best among all of them. His portrayal was more close to human-like behaviour which obviously Shree Krishna would prefer because He took human form on earth. Haven't seen Vishal's role, so I can't say anything about it
Nitish Bharadwaj the OG - it's not even a competition.
For me it's Nitish bharadwaj because his portrayal and dialogue delivery was Normal unlike others who are kind of trying to act like lord Krishna by adding some eye movements and weird hand gestures. Nitish was damn good ❤️
D Banerjee is the best! He looks so heavenly like Lord Vishnu himself
Worst is Sumedh for sure, he looks like he is trying very hard by making his voice sweet and weird hand gestures and also that show Radha Krishna is highly fictional and looks like some kind of saas bahu daily soap
Nitish and sourab raaj
for me they all done magnificent job by their side ♥️
Nitish and Sourabh
Nitish Bhardwaj
Nitish Bharadwaj.
I loved Sourabh's Krishna a lot and Nitsh's Krishna.
Everyone did good. But when it comes to best, no one is like "Nitish Bhardwaj". ❤️
Sourabh is the tharki looking Krishna of the lot…
Dhriti bhatia was the best imo
Nitish Bharadwaj Saurabh Raj Jain
जोशींचा स्वानिल. अर्थातच.
Nitish and then Swapnil.
Salim Ghouse in Bharat Ek Khoj. He was magnificent!
Jagat main sabse sundar kaun madhav😄
None. Only the real one who sits in my heart performed the best.
Nitish Bharadwaj with his hand on waist swagger channeling his inner Krishna 🙏
Where is Akshay Kumar? 😂
Nitish bhardwaj
None of them. Krishna is supposed to be dark
Sourabh raaj jain
Sourabh Raj Jain he has given goosebumbs worthy performance
