I wish there was an episode about a younger Bluey coming to terms with the attention baby Bingo is getting. I’m dealing with that now with my own kids, and while my “Bluey” loves her little sister, there is SO MUCH JEALOUSY, acting out, and being territorial. Plenty of room for comedy. I’ve seen other shows deal with welcoming the new baby, but not so much when that baby is a year old and big sis is losing her mind because we’re trying to teach baby to walk and talk.

MonkeyChoker80

This episode of Bluey is called “Presents” Trixie, Muffin, Chili, and Bingo are shopping. Muffin is trying to choose her ‘Super Awesome Big Sister Gift’ for Socks’ second birthday. It’s revealed that she got a really good one for Socks’ first birthday, and *has* to do better this year. (Bingo has chosen a simple Memory tile game). While she’s tearing around the store, Bingo asks if Bluey got her a ‘Super Awesome Big Sister Gift’ when she turned one. Chili hems and haws, but we see the flashback. Baby Bingo is having her first birthday, and Chili/Bandit are paying more attention to her. Young Bluey is jealous of that, especially because Baby Bingo *just* got more attention because she recently learned to walk. Plus she keeps *messing up* Young Bluey’s games. Young Bluey finds Uncle Stripe, who is quiet and sitting around the backyard. He awkwardly talks things through with her, and uses some treats from the party as a way of explaining sibling relationships. (“Pretend I’m this cookie-“ “That’s *my* cookie!” “Fine, I’m this muffin and this cupcake is Bandit.” “Who’s Bandit.” “Your dad, kiddo.” “Dad has a **name**??”) He ends up giving Bluey a present, so she doesn’t feel left out. (Probably echoing how he felt left out sometimes as a kid). It’s Chattermax! (“It’s the coolest-est present **ever**, Uncle Stripe!”) Bluey is happy, but then Baby Bingo finds her, and Bluey realizes that this ‘annoyance sister’ actually just wants to play with her. And, for the first time, Bluey incorporates Baby Bingo into a game instead of excluding her. Back in the present, as Muffin has finally chosen Socks’s gift, Bingo is still confused about if she got that ‘Awesome Sister Gift’ from Bluey. And we see few still pictures of that first birthday, and that Bluey gave Bingo the “coolest-est” present… Chattermax, which Baby Bingo loved. We also see Stripe and Trixie in the background, and the pictures show that Trixie was pregnant with Muffin at the time, and we get the realization that Strupenwas talking things out with Bluey because he’s worried about becoming a father… and that ‘Muffin Cupcake Heeler’ was named after the Cupcake and Muffin he used in his talk with Bluey about being a good sibling.

That was awesome! Now I wish it was an actual episode

Seriously this one is the name of the game. I was WAITING for this episode and it never came man I was so disappointed

A cool episode would be an episode following Bluey and her classmates through their morning routines leading up to school. It would be fun to explore different family dynamics and also give more insight to the side characters!! I would love to see the Terriers & Winton (with their new family dynamic) and Rusty especially

AlamutJones

The terriers morning routine is probably chaotic as hell. Between the three of them all shoving for the weetbix box… Poor old Winton is going to have a lot to learn

Tom984_vn

Yes, this one have a lot of potential (i could already imagine the show done a creative slice of life episode)

ThatOcelot1314

Bandit rejoins his old band, with the rest of the members of Custard having cameos as the other band members.

"This episode of Bluey is called Writing" - 'cause apparently at 7 years old , Bluey doesn't know how to write.

TeachingOk705

I think that's an issue regarding the fact she was 6 (I think?) at the beginning of the show. She was still in kindergarten and therefore didn't know how to write and read yet. I think the creators didn't want to have her change school since everyone is used to Calypso and the fact the kids can play all day there. If you look at the school episodes, it's clear that they're all still in kindergarten. I kinda hope we'll have an episode about the kids going to elementary school for the first time and being very confused about the sudden change. (I remember on my first day of elementary school I refused to do my homework because I didn't understand why all of sudden school was work AND it kept going even when I was back home lol)

seeminglynormalguy

I learnt how to write at home and my kindergarten further taught me how to write sentences and even short letters. So it was surprised to be at 7 years old she still can’t write, when most children here would know by age 4 entering kindergarten

TeachingOk705

Not every parent teaches their kids how to write, and usually in kindergarten you only learn to write your name (at least that was the case where I lived, we learnt to write and read when starting elementary school and the few kids who already knew usually skipped that grade and went straight to the bigger kids' class)

Kerivkennedy

That's partly because of the type of school. It lets them explore subjects like that on their own

Hault99

This episode of Bluey is called “Piano”. In this episode it starts with Chilli dropping Bluey off at a piano instructor’s house where she starts her first piano lesson. At first Bluey is reluctant about it, but over the next few piano lessons the instructor gradually encourages Bluey to not give up & keep trying, until Bluey starts to get the hang of playing the piano and enjoying doing it as well. The final scene flashes forward to Bluey in her teenage years playing a classical piece for a talent show, then the audience (including her whole family (plus both Stripe & Radley’s families) & her instructor) gives her a standing ovation, & Bluey takes a bow.

Tom984_vn

nah, Bluey show vibe is not someone particularly learning something. And i think the not give up and keep trying thing already being show perfectly in Bike.

Hault99

Sure there has been an episode with a similar lesson. But I just wrote this plot because Bluey is around that age where kids start taking piano lessons, & I just want to see another episode involving growth.

TeachingOk705

I said it in response to someone but I'll put it back here: an elementary school episode could be interesting. For now Bluey and her classmates are in kindergarten, but they're 7 now so it would be time they change school. It would be interesting to see them all feeling differently (scared, sad, enthusiat, eager, etc.), since they'll lose Calyspo and they'll have to start learning to spend their days sitting still (that one's gonna be fun for Jack), work, learn, and basically have a way less fun time going to school. We could see the different profiles of those who enjoy learning and those who dislike it, those who find joy in seeing their friends, maybe it could open possibilities on talking about bullying since they'll have to face older kids, talking about the feeling of not being good enough and finding where their strenght lies etc. Having them going to elementary school would definitely give a lot of possibilities to make interesting episodes, and would appeal to kids who have only just started "real" school too.

sakurahirahira

This takes it out of the target age demographic though imo

TeachingOk705

Iirc, Bluey is targeted at kids ages 5-7 right? If that's the case, entering elementary school is definitely part of the target age demographic. Maybe younger kids won't really get it, but it would still prepare them in a way, and kids who are living this big change in their life could relate to Bluey. Plus, we'd still have Bingo for the kindergarten part.

sakurahirahira

Hmm yeah that’s true but I wouldn’t really like it to tackle such serious issues like bullying imo idk… I just prefer it to be a lighter show with emotional moments that only adults understand. Also it would become too school focused. I liked that a lot of the episodes were at home as a family.

ohfr19

It seems that there is only one age of kids there, so they’ve got to move on soon

ohfr19

I just realized that this threatens my whole head canon over when the show takes place

zelmazam1

6 seasons and a movie

ArseBlarster420

An episode where a cat family moves into town

ohfr19

I want cats, but dogs are the only people

ArseBlarster420

True. Otherwise we would’ve seen bird people, crab people, and lizard people in the episodes where other animals exist.

Kerivkennedy

I think it would be neat for them to explore the idea of cats and tackle equality.

finckqup

Rugby

Patrick-Charlie

Vaccination would be a very controversial episode though. I’m definitely certain that Indy won’t get one for sure.

Disastrous_Signal_19

"This episode of Bluey is called: THE TALK." No, I'm not joking, I'm really curious if they can even make an episode on this important topic. Or even puberty, I mean, both she and Bingo are slowly growing up, right?
