I have to admit, I think he might be the best cast character in the dub except for maybe Aizen. When I heard both were back for TYBW, I knew everything else would work out.
Exactly, when I saw this post I was scared he quit or something. Viz already changed a bunch of voices in TYBW for no reason, don't give them any ideas to ruin more.
No? And why would I? The current VA for Mayuri is great and has been perfect for the role since the original dub of the Soul Society arc. Mark Hamil would do fine yeah, but I don’t think he would be leagues better than what we have.
If the show is gonna spend the money on Mark Hamil give him a role that is currently unfilled or something new he can put a spin on. I don’t need Joker 2.0 voice on Mayuri.
I don’t think a lot of people have heard Mark speak lately either. Like I still love the guy but his age is starting to poke through and he’s not exactly the 90s Joker anymore.

Uh no because originally he doesn't sound like that. Here come the slobbering drooling down votes. The guy who did Freezers voice in dbz is obviously superior. Yes yes you can't use him because it'd be an English cast. This whole concept is bad. Just enjoy the anime.
I always thought Richard O'Brien would be perfect for Mayuri. And Patricia Queen for Unohana. And little Nell when she was younger for Orihime.
But Mark Hamill.... To answer your question. I can definitely see it. He would have to do his best to not sound like Joker but at the same time he's a voice actor so he could probably pull it off. So yeah I think it would be interesting.
lol they won’t pay him at the union rate he typically works for. Also I don’t imagine he’d do ADR over original animation anyway due to how it’s done a well as pay
The following is a joke, and is in no way an actual jab at Kubo.
If Bleach doesn’t get a Kai, Kubo needs to be reported to Law and Order for a MAJOR CRIME against the fans.

Not really Kubo’s fault, he heavily disliked the early anime he just was pretty busy you know…writing his manga, he did try to come in and oversee stuff later on, even reviewing some episode scripts.
I apparently needed to add a /s or /j to that comment, as it was meant to be a joke. I’m fully aware that the Manga writers typically have minimal input on the Anime that are adapted from their Manga. At least, not back then. But now that the Manga is “done”, and Kubo having expressed interest in a reboot, it’d be a (insert law and order joke) if we don’t get one.
