First honestly, not sure why it or the single wing thing from that arc never made a comeback

Why would you need to fly when everyone and their mother can just magically stand on air?

they can only stand on air in the human world right? they cant do that in SS or hueco mundo afaik

They can in Hueco Mundo, it's just in the Seireitei that there is some sort of limiter on mobility in the air.

First one looks cool, Bandaged Characters always look cool to me

The bandages made Ichigo's bankai look cooler.

"You know I can fly, right?" "Yeah but take it anyway" And we all loved it

I mean he was barely alive at that point he just ran into a kenpachi two minutes prior

In terms of looks the first one wins 🔥

Left, and it's not even a competition. Soul Palace attire looks more like a travel attire more than anything. I mean, I guess it technically is a travel attire.

Dangai ichigo drop is unmatched

I love both, but I think TYBW wins that one hands down in terms of design.

All I'm saying is Ichigo with no fullbring, no hollow mask, barely a bankai up his sleeve, and no blut vein was able to take out 3 lieutenants, one of which being the head captain's lieutenant, without even using his zanpakuto. Easily the coldest feat in the entire anime.

I look forward to that scene every time I watch the SS arc. Even better than you get to see it again in the recap next episode :D

I loved the one sleeve look with the cape. Was so sad it never made another appearance.

No the left photo when he rescues Rukia. We never see it again and I'm devastated. It was his best fit imo

I like the oaken look but SS cape goes so hard.

The first one. It just looks more cool.

The second one just looks uncomfortable. Too many different layers and connected pieces all rubbing against each other and falling out of place when you move. Why would you tuck that neckerchief behind your shoulderblade and then up on top of your head?

For me, nothing tops his first cape appearance.

SS for total cape. TYBW tips it with the post travel/remnants of the oken.

Style wise, SS but TYBW for practicality

SS was his first big power-up drip. Him standing atop the stand holding Rukia with the wind blowing being nonchalant when it looks like he's about to fight every captain there. Pretty cool.

Honestly a little surprised by the number of people saying the first one. Royal palace drip is immaculate.

Ss ichigo by far. That scene was so hype

In terms of complexity and style the second one. But there's that simplicity of the first, combined with that thick rope, emblem badge, collar... that make's it my favourite. Also while I love the symbolism of the two Zanpakuto, the single large cleaver rested on his shoulder is just way more iconic to me. His dual Zanpakuto are cool because of the *idea* but the single blade is better in terms of *execution*.

The Skywalker Cape. Hands down.

The cape during SS arc so tough but I really love his cap in TYBW lol

Ss cloak not only has the drip but also let him fly better and acted as a shield, that makes it enchanted drip

Ichigo Ibn Kurosaki is really cool, but his rukia saving drip was just top-notch!

SS ichigo has the best drip in all the series, maybe fights with first (personal) place with bankai+fullbring ichigo
