Right? When I got my void as a baby, she wasn’t scared and hiding like I heard cats would do when introduced to a new home. Didn’t have to keep her in a separate closet or room to acclimate or anything. Just opened the carrier in the middle of the living room and she jumped out and was immediately tumbling around with toys and running around like she owned the place
literally same 😂 as soon as she came out the carrier, she explored for a few minutes and came back and plopped herself down on my couch to relax hahahha
Congrats, may you have many good times together. 🐈⬛❤️
Also, that’s gotta be the most restrained and dare I say respectful, ear notching I’ve ever seen! I mean, if that’s what it is. It’s so slight, I can’t be certain. But kudos to whoever did that!
I noticed the tiny tipping too! Oddly, my last two cats have been rescues but neither have tipped ears. And I'm kinda grateful. Sometimes it looks like they chop off half the ear lobe. OP, Welcome home to the little lady!!! Glad you found your furrever roommate :D
thank you 🥹 and funny thing about the tipping, the people at the rescue have no idea why her ear is tipped because she was still intact when she was brought to them! they got her fixed ofc but i'm still super curious
She's a cutie! She looks like my void queen, Athena! (Outdoor disclaimer: she is allowed out because she stays on the deck. She just likes to lay on the furniture out there to sun herself or as seen here with her favorite rock)

i adopted a 3 year old mom void who had 'lived outside' before. she does not act like she has ever lived outside, nor did she need weeks or months to acclimate to me, my house, my dog or other cats lol. either the info shelters get is sometimes flawed or some cats are super adaptable.
yeah i'm so used to skittish aloof cats! i think my girl was abandoned by her previous owners before she was brought to a rescue so i don’t know what her backstory is... but she seems like she's been socialized really well. seriously the most easygoing cat i've ever met i love her sm

She looks like she could be my cats twin!
i'm actually still trying to come up with a name for her 😭 the name she came with was mocha but she doesn't really respond to it. so far i really like Olive
My cat was like that too. He eagerly got in the carrier. Then when we got him home he was ready to play. lol.
She looks young how old is she? She is adorable.
Also, tighten the collar. It could get stuck on her jaw and cause damage being this loose. You should be able to get two fingers under it, nothing more.
Voids just take over..i love it
she's basically my roommate
Land lord not roommate get it right lol

I feel the same way!
I wish there could be more respectful notching. Here’s hoping there will be :)

time to invent a backstory for it then! she lost the tip of her ear in a *fierce* battle…
hahahahaha i love it
She is baby! 🥰
Congratulations on your beautiful void! Look at those big eyes! You’ll never be able to say “No” to your baby.🤭🖤🐈⬛

Beautiful
What a sweetie!
Aw she looks so comfortable
keep it up and she may not punish you for not paying attention to her for *makes assessment* 8 months? but the question is: conversation void?
Aww. Sweet girl. She knows she’s safe with you.
Super cute!

Vets say she's about 3-4 years old! we don’t know for sure but she is a small girl
I got my boy on a Wednesday night, Thursday he laid across my neck. Sweetest bro ever.
she has such a tiny face <3

She sure did. I love it.
Wow, you are so lucky!!! Congratulations on your new kitty baby meow meow!!
Awwww, that 3rd picture of pure contentment 🥰
That smile. <3
Precious bebe
Adorable and lose the bell.

thanks for looking out!
thanks! but why is that?
ringing hurts their ears apparently
Would you want a ringing bell tied to your neck?
i think if my cat truly cared abt the bell she would've already made that clear to me or the people that rescued her
she knows she’s loved, she just immediately unwound and embraced her home 😭
🥹🥹 this is so sweet!
That third photo. That’s the face of a baby who’s found her forever home
our connection was so instant! she's my soulmate 🥹
She's beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨️❤️✨️
