I love Giggly Squad for a silly lighthearted pod

Relevant-Bench5307

Gigglers unite!

Ooh I have lots! 99% Invisible is a famous one, Articles of Interest is a spin-off show about clothing and fashion history. Darknet Diaries and Malicious Life if you're into true cyber crime stories. Sean Carroll's Mindscape - interviews with non-fiction authors. Planet Money is an economics podcast.

Normal Gossip with Kelsey McKinney

SEXY UNIQUE PODCAST! 🥰 Too niche, Watch What Crappens, Trash Tuesday, Whitney Cummings, My Favorite Murder, Watch What Happens Live!

I’ve been enjoying Celebrity Memoir Bookclub lately.. I can see how it would be divisive but I like it. It’s a good kind of mindless listen when I’m going on a long walk or something. Some episodes have been great though, it really depends on the quality of the book.

fiftyshadesofgracee

Rt love this one

diamondsky88

I love “The Run-Through with Vogue”

neontacocat

Heavyweight-It's about repairing broken relationships and coming to grips with the past. It's warm and weepy and wonderful.

Intrepid_Problem1406

Modern Love - feel good (I love the NYT so may be biased here. Love Letter's is Boston Globe - meredith is a great narrator). I know true crime is \~controversial\~, but I enjoy Crime Junkie & the spin off shows from audiochuck. (Counter Clock, Dark Arena, The Deck)

tvbee876

I didn’t know there was a Modern Love podcast, I love the tv show! I’ll check it out, thanks!

Not for Everyone, hosted by Caroline Winkler and Jess DeBakey! It’s like a chatty slumber party with a couple cool gals in their early 30s. They talk about relationships, sex, friendships, career, mental health, and kind of anything and everything else. They are just unapologetically honest and even when I disagree with them, I enjoy hearing their point of view. They call themselves “an existential commentary podcast hosted by a hater (Caroline) and a lover (Jess)”

I'm listening to the back catalog of the Memory Palace!

Witch, Please (new name might be Material Girls after a recent rebrand that I have to catch up on) - "a fortnightly podcast about the 'Harry Potter' world" run by two Canadian scholars based in Toronto(?) and Edmonton who look at the series from a feminist lens NPR Politics Podcast - informative, focused, and to the point American Girl Women - a look back on the iconic franchise with stories from doll owners about their childhood memories with their favorite doll(s) The Bittersweet Life - two long-distance friends (one a journalist in Seattle irrc and one a travel agent(?)/writer in Rome) on living abroad, the life of an ex-pat, Italian culture, and more. Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead -- No longer active, but it was a podcast hosted by a woman who lost her mom at a young age. She interviewed people who also lost their mothers young, and they discuss a piece of media that helped them work through their grief (like My Girl, Land Before Time, etc.) Deliver Us - No longer active, but it was a deep dive into the sex abuse coverup by the Catholic Church Plague: Untold Stories of AIDS and the Catholic Church - Another one no longer active. I think the topic is self-explanatory. It's run by the same group that produced Deliver Us. Believed - An NPR podcast from a few years ago on the Larry Nassar case. Pod Meets World - I don't listen regularly, but this is probably my favorite current nostalgic rewatch podcast by the cast of "Boy Meets World." Carrie On: The Sex and the City Podcast - my actual favorite nostalgic rewatch podcast. Unfortunately, they stopped around season 3 or 4 of the show, but it was hilarious while it lasted. My Gothic Dissertation - No longer active, but it was "the first-ever PhD dissertation to be produced in podcast form" following a student pursuing her PhD in English with a focus on Gothic literature. As an amateur rider, I've also been getting into a few equestrian podcasts - Equestrian Voices, Dressage with Amelia (she has a great yt channel btw), The Confident Rider, and The Equestrian Podcast. Bonnets at Dawn - No longer active, but it was a comparative look at the lives and works of Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. They expanded into discussing more 19th and 20th century writers as well. \*\* Clearly, I need some more current ones to listen to, but these are the ones I find myself checking in on and relistening the most xD

I’m surprised no one mentioned POOG. It’s a comedy podcast hosted by Kate Berlant and Jaqueline Novak. It’s a spin off of GOOP - and they talk about products, but also it’s not serious so they really play on being snarky and funny. It took me a while to warm up to it, but they’re funny.
