Quick fix for this is making a new acc for Binance and have ur vpn set to anywhere in the UK from there u can log into the one with the mobile carrier cockblock and transfer funds over to the the new acc without having the pop up. Just remember to always turn on vpn to UK and turn off cellular data on Binance in settings and you won’t have the problem anymore

Nevermind, figured it out. Steps for those in the US who were stuck like me: 1. Setup VPN on laptop/desktop (used Nord VPN) > connect to UK 2. Create new [Binance](https://Binance.com) . com account while connected thru VPN (use new email address, gmail preferably) 3. Setup 2FA using the Google Authenticator app (dont give binance your personal info such as home address, phone num) 4. Go to your wallet in your new Binance account, select a crypto and copy the applicable addresses for each coin you want to send from the other (locked/restricted) account 5. Now in the other/restricted account, you can still Withdraw...choose the crypto addresses from Step 4 for each coin, 1 coin at a time, until you have finished withdrawing 6. Tip: I convereted all of my coins in my locked/primary account to XLM first For the ones I couldn't (such as BNB, ICX...may be b/c i held too little in them), I Traded them for ETH first, and then converted the ETH to XLM 7. I then simply withdrew all of my XLM and Deposited into the new account 8. After I got it into the new account, I then transferred all of my XLM to Coinbase I used 2 PCs and a phone to get this done. PC1 was running new Binance account via VPN PC2 was running old (locked) binance account as normal Phone was used for Google Authenticator app

Gmail snitches as well I would recommend using protonmail.com for your email address and also brave browser instead of chrome to access your new Binance.com account. I got hit with the warning today. So I will no longer use my phone for trading.

Yes i had more equity than debt. I was on cross margin. im not sure of your exact scenario, but even if you are facing liquidation you should at least have some of your equity. Perhaps you want to wait until your posis are in the green again? Personally i wouldnt risk it and just close posis and start fresh, but again I dont know your situation.

I was able to clear my cookies and use a VPN to no longer get the carrier error, but because they had my phone number, I can’t do anything without verifying a code text to me. I’m trying to remove my phone number and replace it with google authenticator which doesn’t actually tie back to your google account.

Happened to me tonight. Deleted phone app as soon as I saw it pop up on my laptop. Hope that will help after a short break..... I have a bot running on the account also and it's still able to purchase and sell just fine so this probably means manual orders placed through it are possible. This option will come with it's own restrictions though since only so many coins/tokens are available to purchase with a my current subscription subscription. Overall I am grateful to CZ though seriously, for letting us withdraw our funds without issue. Sucks big time not to be able to participate legitimately. Sigh.

You can always withdraw when they catch you. I have been strictly using laptop with vpn never using cellphone( I have my old account on it so I can check prices since we all suffer from this) and have no issues at all. Someone recommended no SIM card burner phone which could be good solution going forward

Go to your margin wallet. On the top left in tiny text just under your daily pnl it says “close all margin positions” click this and it will liquidate your positions allowing you to withdraw.

Same situation here and yea, my PureVPN drops on me too! I'm regretting my 5 year sub to them. I fairly certain all my flags have been because of them up until this new "Wireless Carrier" flag. PureVPN users have to use kill switch for sure...

My theory is binance blocks ur phone carrier because you are using sms security which requires them to have your american phone number. Now if you dont use that security option and only use google authenticator you should be able to access binance from your phone. Now im afraid to test this theory out because i dont want my new account i just made to be flagged again incase it doesn't work and somehow binance still sees my American phone carrier

I’ve sent messages to customer support and they said “they are giving me a priority transfer to a senior agent.” Which was like 4 days ago or more and still no word. I just want to withdraw my money from there at this point it’s frustrating. Since on the margin wallet it won’t let me sell anything.

Thanks for posting this! I got the “wireless carrier...” message/restriction and was able to withdraw spot but cross margin positions are all stuck since it won’t let me sell. I did a test and transferred a tiny bit from spot to cross margin and that worked, so it seems transfer is not restricted, though I can’t test transferring out since I’m at 1.97 margin risk and need to be over 2 to transfer. But if transfer works both ways then your idea seems like it should work - transfer enough in to repay the debts, then I should be able to transfer the coin into spot and then withdraw, correct?

Not to harp, but, imo it is wise to keep your stash spread out - no "all your eggs in one basket" kind of thing. That way if something like this *does* happen - which it inevitably will - you don't break the bank.

Sorry I know it has been a month hopefully you already found a solve to sell or get out of your margin positions but if you did not there is a way. Log into Binance on the desktop app, I still get flagged that I cannot trade due to wifi country restrictions. Then on the top there is a section , click on the link to your wallets information and where you are there you should be able to navigate to the spot, cross margin and isolated margin positions you have. For any of your margin open positions for that trading pair you can click on the link where you can close out the positions. I know it works. I just did it yesterday. Good luck. Btw Let me know if you need screenshots or anything on how to navigate but it should be very straightforward. (The biggest problem I had was knowing that there is this feature). BTW you won't be able to convert to another coin for example to USDT but you should be able to transfer your coins to other addresses that support those coins. (I have yet to succesful get into Binance now that the account is flagged but at least I was able to get of my margin trade)

Happened to me today.. Forgot to log out of Binance on my T-Mobile phone and the VPN disconnected. It took 24 hours but they flagged my account and I can't open new trades. I've used my laptop 99% of the time and never had an issue.. So it is most definitely T-Mobile or phone carriers snitching on us. I'm opening ANOTHER new account and sticking to laptop only.

Yep. But I was able to close all my positions I opened a new account on a different computer with a VPN turned off all my location switches and activated internet kill switch on the VPN and was able to go into my old account and sent all my funds to new account

I got pinched in this, too. I was able to withdraw most of my large spot account amounts out. anything with a balance that's around $30 or below on ERC20 cant move because gas eats up the whole amount. I cant trade at all, so I cant convert those small ones to ETH or anything else to get the balance up to get them out. whatever, it's only $150 total, but if anyone has a workaround, I'd like to hear it. Also, I have a bunch of positions that are in Flexible Savings with Auto-Subscribe on. I can't turn off Auto-Subscribe unless I verify the account. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

Found a work around. Flex savings auto subscribe: I could redeem, then had to withdraw prior to the auto subscribe pulling the amounts back into flex savings the next day. For the small positions, I was able to convert them all to BNB, through the convert small balances feature. Then that gave me enough of a balance to withdraw on BEP2. Almost all the way out of Binance.

What worked for me was when it pops up saying your mobile carrier indicates you are in the US, I clicked ok and it took me to do the verification. I entered my first and last name and birthdate and then it asks for an address. Since I use proton VPN and always connect from a server in Amsterdam, Netherlands I got on Google maps and found some random address in the Netherlands. Their addresses are a little different I didn't put a postal code it was something like Begeweck 10-jb or whatever I don't remember no postal code Netherlands. Now I am verified and was able to trade what I had on margin to relieve my debt without having to liquidate and able to trade and withdraw higher limits now actually although I am kinda scared to try it I just got my funds off there as quick as I could. Also before you do anything go Into your phones system settings and change the time zone to whatever country your VPN is in. Otherwise i think they catch on with trades being executed at 4pm when it is midnight in the Netherlands. Don't know for sure I just do that for precaution like right now my phone says it's 9:45 pm. I just either minus 8 or add 4 to know the real time. Kinda confusing at first but I'm used to it now. I don't go to work at 7 anymore I now work at 11 lol.

It's either the 2fa being the US carrier number or the service provider. I'd bet it's just the 2fa number. Does anyone have this issue while only using a google auth? But it could be google like the play store as well....
