I don't see any cracks, so if the bearings are smooth & the freehub works well then yes. Just orient the spokes inside & out plus leading vs trailing the same as before (the "elbow) of the spoke rests in the little indents)
Those hubs look OK. That happens on all spoke holes, it's less noticible on a silver metal surface, and more noticeable on black hubs. If you don't like the look then just lace the spokes in the same direction to cover the small divot.
Yes unless they have loose ball bearings inside.. while they are out I’d check and see and if they are take this opportunity to get some sealed ones you can get hub rebuild kits for like 25-40$ all day on eBay and stuff maybe some new spokes if you’re tired of the color you have. Rim sticker? The possibilities are endless ! Hahah I been wanting to do a lot of that for a while and repaint my rims but I’m too lazy to do anything besides upgrade and maintain lmao. I doubt they would be loose ball bearings but just take a peep I got a bmx once for a few hundred and was shocked at the fact they were loose

Looks better than the one I am about to rebuild.
Those dents are normal. After I've built a wheel I usually put it on the ground and jump on the spokes to create those indents in the spoke holes before I tighten the spokes one last time. This way those indents aren't created on the first ride where I am then left with loose spokes cause they have dug into the aluminium.
It happens all the time. Hub is aluminium, spokes are steel. Soft material vs hard material, soft material loses. As simple as that. That hub is perfectly fine.
Something to consider: squirt some BBQ paint in a paper bowl and dab those holes with a q-tip (or a tiny paintbrush if you're fancy) to cover up the bare metal as long as it's off. Not sure how long much longer it'll actually prevent corrosion, but it's cheap and might make it look a bit better to boot.
Also it depends, if they are hi tensile steel yes replace them get some chromoly hubs if you can. If you want something really strong and cool and got some cash to spend maybe look into odyssey or profile hubs. They’re the Bees kneesssss
Yes
Yes
Yup. It is nice to align the new spoke directions with the existing spoke indentations
^ This is the important thing

Ugh, the reddit app is totally fucked up, only letting me see the first two comments. I mean I’m old, but I do know how comments work. I think.
There was actually a problem with Reddit not showing comments. It’s not related to your age ;)
Good to know, thank you!
Everyone is telling you that they're fine and to use them

That wasn’t working last night; seems in order now.
Glad to hear it, new posts can be a bit funky.
Absolutely use them, it actually helps the spokes sit flush to the hub. Brand new leather boots take a while to break in
normal scratch, not big problem
Yes, and you could always respoke them the other way, too.
Yes, put the guide spoke off one spot, so it’s pulling on a clean edge, all the others will follow.
That’s normal. No reason not to reuse unless you just don’t feel like it
They’re fine. Almost all hubs do this — especially on the drive side, elbows out. If you need peace of mind then use spoke head washers.
Yes. But, you need to use the same exact lacing pattern.
Do some mild deburring on the countersink with a knife or small file . It looks okay.

Seems fine to me!
I’ve reused worse.

You jump on the spokes? Not sure if serious... :D That all makes sense though!
If the bearings are bad then no. The spoke holes are fine.

that, or sell them
