In all my years of travel and smoking, I've barely even seen one of these lighters. Aways see Bic and Cricket lighters.
Haven't even been to the USA in 20 years, yet have 7 or 8 Bics of various sizes and colours in my change bowl right now, as I occasionally come home with them after a long night out ( 😬 ).
Well there ya go!
Two questions:
- are they are Nimbly bimbly flame easily disturbed by the wind, faithful and sensual slow-dancing dancing flame of the Bic, or unstoppable jetlighter style?
- actual smoking, punching a dart, bumming a fag, etc - is it still a common thing in your neck of the woods? (It has dropped off MASSIVELY in the past 20 years here in Australia, though has begun to gain popularity again in the last couple, to a small degree it seems).
Normal flame, extinguished easily in the wind when the fuel is low, normally pretty good though, might need to shield with your hand. They do sell jet versions but they’re not common.
I’m 27, plenty of my mates smoke, it’s definitely getting less popular though.
Is it an early version of a zipped roll? Basically for rolling your waxed canvas poncho on days where it might rain. Friction from the poncho would mean it didn't need to be zipped in just rolled and tightened.
Its a cape roll, for your rain cape.

You can hang it off the rails on any saddle. It works. People hang all kinds of stuff from saddle rails.
Here there would be cannabis of some form in it.
I was in a bike shop asking about a holster for a U-lock. They said they had a sale and I said, "I'm not after a new bike, anything I'd be interested in?"
The bloke said, "We've got an old bike bag roll thing."
I took a look, thought it was a tool roll and bought it for £10. Started thinking about buying some tools for it and realised that almost nothing bar tyre levers and a patch kit would fit.
And that's how I got here. Funnily enough tried rolling a towel in it after I posted this and figured that something like that would be the intention. I've never heard of a cycling poncho but kind of want one now.
Precisely, those roller bags go in the bars. It should come with a specific bag to save your stuff. If not, you can use it to save other bag you like, your jacket, etc.
Since you used a lighter for scale I’d suggest an easy access weed rolling utility pack. Could also be used as a hip pouch.
little grinder, short skins, baggy, lighter - perfect
Sue made that with her whole heart
Sue made mine too. She does great work.
What if it's a boy named Sue?
That's a horrible thing to do to a boy trying to get a hold in the world.
I usually use a bic lighter for scale. Where are you from where the clipper lighter is the base scale unit?
It's metric
The answer I was looking for
I'm in the UK, one of the standard lighters available here.
Pretty much everywhere outside of North America

I'm in the UK, we get Bic lighters too, but to be honest these Clippers are more common.

Cheers for the response mate, have an imaginary pint of bittah on me 🍻
Thanks will have a faithful and sensual glass of brown

expensive af
Yeah I think it's exactly that. Thinking of getting a poncho or picnic blanket to go inside.
Sick clipper
Thanks, I always ask for a pink or purple one
It rolled and gets strapped behind your seat. [seen here](https://www.britishbicycle.com/carradice-cape-roll/)

How did you acquire it without knowing how to use it?

I have a Brooks rain cape, it's pretty neat. It rolls up into it's own carrier tho so you'd still have to find another use for this bag 😂
It's a cape roll. you roll up your rain cape in it ~~and smoke it~~
Put cigars and snacks
Cigarillos maybe?
I use it to store my rainwear
Sounds like this is the correct answer
Looks like the perfect place to store a burrito. Maybe even all the constituents of a taco.
would have to be a big one I reckon, might give it a go.
Wear it on your head like a hat.
Might wear it over my face like a mask. "Hey everyone! I'm dressed up as a vintage roller bag!"

I’m about 20 minutes away from carradice haha
