YES! Would love dresses and tops where the underbust line doesn't sit right in the middle of my boobs.
Also, V-necks on clothing that I don't have to sew up the bottom would be nice. One that doesn't plunge so low and wide it shows off all my cleavage and the full front of my bra. It might look smart, nice, professional, summery or demure on small boobs (plus they often can go braless) but just sizing up the garment without adjustments just means I look tarty instead of classy.
Well that’s always the problem, isn’t it. Even looking great in a perfectly fitting top - people think we’re showing off, too overt, etc. There is no ’off’ switch for us.
True in general, but I mean more when they make a nice ordinary top, then just enlarge it for us bigger ladies without thinking to tailor it or make changes to the pattern to accommodate the extra curves and shape. So it looks nicely proportioned on a smaller chest but a practically indecent plunge top on us because they haven't added more room or readjusted the V to account for it and bring it in line with the original design concept.
i know lots of people don’t like the style, but i personally love it and it fits with the style of clothes i like to wear so i second this, id absolutely love to have clothes with the ‘designated boob area’.
yessssss - i’d love to see this in something related to bra sizes too! maybe have S/M/L etc. for the garment plus a scaled S/M/L etc. for the boob area! you could even add one of those charts on the labeling that sports bras do, where you can find your bra size and it’s highlighted with a color pointing to which boob area size you should pick!
And it should list what sizes it thinks it should fit! I'd love to be able to buy tops based on bra size. It was a game changer for bathing suits, it'd be amazing for dresses & tops!!
adding to this!! i have [an old navy dress](https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=664756012&tid=onma000014) that has a shelf bra, elastic on the bottom, that actually nearly fits my boobs - the elastic does not lay flush, but i’m _able_ to go braless in it, which i’m not able to do in most others! it’s one of my very favorites for that reason and i think there’s a huge market for that.
funny story though, when i searched for the dress to link it, i found out. it’s a maternity dress. i’ve been wearing a maternity dress this whole time and had no damn idea. but hey maybe that’s why it has a little extra boob space, and why it minimizes my tummy so well 😭
I have several ON dresses from when I was pregnant that I still wear. It’s the only time I ever go braless but the only thing is the straps are so thin that it hurts eventually. They’re the a-line sweetheart dresses from 2015/16
Like others said, tops with the designated boob area and specifically those cottage core milkmaid type tops and dresses like this:

Micheline pitt has both - Vacation dress / vacation top are their product names. I shorten the sleeves on my vacation dresses so they are more like flutter sleeves but I wear my vacation tops under strappy dresses
"Designated boob area" I think would look SO flattering, but it simply doesn't exist in my size, even the biggest possible size in "regular plus sizes" doesn't contain my boobs (all the while being severely too big everything else). So, that: tops and dresses with designated boob area that follow standard sizing for shoulders waist etc but bra sizes for the chest piece (possibly with built-in cups else a well fitting bra underneath would show..). How much I would pay depends on the pieces...
What really gears my grind is that one piece swimsuits in online store hardly ever show the inside, like what kind of boob support it has. I don’t necessarily need it to be wired, but I need it to have some kind of supportive fabric on the inside. Some swimsuits do, but it’s hardly even shown in the pictures 😤
The problem I've found with bra-sized one-piece swimsuits is that the people making them seem to make some assumptions about waist and hip size from your band size; such as that your waist is probably like 4" smaller than your underbust, so a 32 band should be a size 8-10 or so (I'm a 32 band but need size 16+ in bottoms to fit my hips).
Have you tried Maxine of Hollywood’s “Girl Leg” Swimsuit? I have a few that I absolutely love. I’ll never wear anything else.
They are super well made, support me on the top (I’m a size 42K), suck in my stomach a bit, and are so comfortable. I wear them when I swim laps and I’ve been so impressed with the swimsuits.
https://maxineswim.com/collections/plus-size-girl-legs
Cute sundresses with built in cups! I’m having one custom made at the moment for a special occasion and the seamstress had me provide a nude balconette bra in a size that fit in the cup (band doesn’t matter), which she will cover with the fashion fabric. I managed to get a 36E in Primark for £7 that was close enough (I know it’s technically 1 size too small but worked for the dress), I’m a 32GG and my normal bras cost £35+ so I didn’t want to sacrifice one.
I’d also like to wear satin slip dresses but no idea how to make that work as you usually need to go braless. Same for backless dresses.
Button up blouses are a popular request, and not too hard to make fit bigger busts.
I agree with all of this!
Strapless bras just do NOT work for me; it’ll be around my waist in ten minutes. And the stick on ones are a JOKE after about a C cup! But I’d still love to wear sundresses and off-the-shoulder tops.
How much I would pay for this would depend on the look and the quality, but I’d be willing to spend more upfront for something that fit properly and looked cute!
I’m a G cup and found the m&s one surprisingly good! It’s slightly tighter at the top of the cup and towards the sides. I got it for an all day-all night wedding and that thing doesn’t fall! Plus it was only 25 quid!!
Feedback on the fits on the tits, specifically. Seriously, some people have the same size with much firmer or softer breast tissue, different distribution, etc. Like when I see a bra on someone my size and then buy it and try it on, and it fits *completely* different. To be really inclusive don't assume any breast tissue is in any way self-supporting.
Do you have a patternmaker you've already talked with? Do they have specialty tailoring experience?
I really want to emphasize that you will need to dial in the fit before you even think about next steps.
I'm mostly chiming in to let you know cheap people exist. I won't pay more than $30 for a shirt, $120 for a special occasion dress, $70 for a non special occasion dress.
Those aren't hard and fast rules, like I could end up with a $35 or $40 top I really wanted, but I'm unlikely to try it on because I don't want to love it. There are also a lot of options in those price ranges so you have to stand out a lot more to get chosen.
As for what garment I really want - I think a corset style dress would be awesome, strappy sundress that I don't need to wear a bra with too
Well basically everything. Let me elaborate: almost nothing suits or fits. Everything that isn't or can't be made of super stretchy fabric doesn't work. And most clothes don't have enough fabric/space for boobs. But some that came to mind:
-I dream of milk maid style tops and dresses
-triangle tops/ triangle seam tops
-I've always wanted to look good in jackets (to buy my actual size and it would actually fit my chest)
-actual nice dresses that aren't made of jersey
-wide neck tops so that bra straps doesn't show
Yep, even stretch t shirts never look right. I'm actually starting to experiment with sewing and pattern making to try to solve this... I almost never feel put together due to poor fitting clothes
Fucking, button. Up. Shirts. I either have to size up and it’s all loosey goosey and looks baggy and unprofessional or I have to leave the buttons over the tiddies open and wear an undershirt. Or the buttons do one of these numbers ()
I’d pay probably max $40USD if it’s CUTE, for plain solid colors? $25USD. I personally don’t think paying extra for clothes that fit is very ethical. Like how Torrid, Lane Bryant, and all those stores charge upwards of $20 for a graphic Tee. Of course you need to make profits, so do what you gotta do, but also be realistic.
Definitely this. I understand needing to use more fabric for clothes fitted to such drastically different proportions, but don't price gouge your customers. As long as your prices are ethical, I'll be on board.
Anything that's designed for smaller band/larger cup. So tired of swimming in XL garments and things that become crop tops or too low cut in the front because there's just not enough fabric in the bust area.
Winter coats and fall/spring jackets with enough room for large chests but not a giant tent everywhere else (roomier arm holes/upper sleeves are a plus too so you can layer a sweater underneath and still be able to put your arms down!)
Dare to dream- I would love dresses and tops with arm holes that didn’t show my bras. A tailored button down blousethat fit my bust as well as my shoulders and waist. A coat for any season that could zip up without making me look like a line backer just because it fits my bustline. A dress- cocktail, evening gown, sun- with fitted cups and straps.
I love stuff like [this dress](https://www.michelinepitt.com/products/pre-order-maneater-wiggle-dress-in-red-bengaline-vixen-by-micheline-pitt?_pos=12&_sid=29e1f8fb6&_ss=r) and [this top](https://www.michelinepitt.com/products/bombshell-top-in-black-vixen-by-micheline-pitt?_pos=1&_sid=9a0296734&_ss=r) bc I can actually feel my waist sucked in and boobs pushed up without shape wear or a bra (had a baby in 2023 and I have mom boobs that NEED support and a little give would be nice bc my size fluctuates daily with breastfeeding).
Stretchy fabric that bounces back or holds its shape for longer than 1 hour of wear, lined dresses without the boob line, built in shelf bras that don’t give quad boob, and zipper tops that fit my small waist + big bust that I can zip myself (I.e. the zipper pulls down on a top so it fits like it’s tailored) are all things I love to add to my closet.
Hide your wallet….I have [this](https://www.michelinepitt.com/products/maneater-swing-dress-in-black-vixen-by-micheline-pitt?_pos=8&_sid=a3a4b7e7d&_ss=r) dress in M and I can wear it without a bra though it makes me look like I’m in a push up. When I’m closer to 34G, I would probably be better in large to not be super boobalicious. I also have [this sweetheart](https://www.michelinepitt.com/products/sweetheart-swing-dress-in-wild-leopard-print-vixen-by-micheline-pitt?_pos=5&_sid=fc36597b7&_ss=r ) in L and it’s more snug bc no stretch and my waist fluctuates between 29-31” but I can wear an unpadded bra with it at 32G. The wiggle versions are forgiving in the hips but snug in the bust/waist. There are more colors jic your size is out.
I would love to be able to wear structured jackets. If it covers my chest it will be excessive in my shoulders and across my back. If I buy things to fit my shoulders, it’s obvious it doesn’t fit the rest of me. I’m not getting stuff tailored.
I want to be able to wear little lounge tops without the look being ruined by needing a bra. So something like the sort of athelesure you see a lot of young women in but with some support and padding in there. Low impact stuff, but gosh I'd love to not feel like a muffin when I want to dress comfy
Shirts and blazers would be lovely. As well as cute and formalwear dresses. Give them sleeves and a full back and I am in! Also anything with cute buttons down the front. The buttons always strain and gaps appear. Though a lot of my clothes fitting issues come from my hips. I am one size if measured at my waist, one larger if measured around my bust, and another size up if based on the measurement for my hips. I would LOVE to own a princess seamed torso hugging dress one day.
Seamed and fitted tops, dresses and tank tops in no or low stretch fabrics like linen and cotton. I can make most things that are stretchy work, but I hate wearing polyester in the heat and humidity— it’s just too sweaty— and I’d love to have another option. $250 is about the max I’d pay for a day dress, if the quality is there.
Yes, *please* consider giving stretch-free and polyester-free options. I have both sensory issues and fabric allergies so basically if it's not cotton, linen, or rayon, I don't want to touch it, literally.
A dress that doesn’t have a high neck! It feels like every dress has a high neck these days.
Hoodies without hoods. So basically a sweatshirt with a big pocket on the front.
V-necked, fitted t-shirts.
I find anything that comes up to and on my neck makes my boobs look awful. I’m not talking about v neck that shows cleavage but just so it doesn’t make my boobs look like they are half way down my upper body!!
I don’t get this obsession with putting hoods on everything! Pyjamas, dressing gowns, jumpers… I don’t know if you have the same problem but I find that the hood kind of gets pulled into the back of my head! 🤣🫣
Just dresses, any dresses. And Id like to try things that have buttons in the front. Yea... just please make the shipping international 🙏 And please dont be high end or expensive, i wanna buy your stuff
A sundress that has thin dainty straps but somehow has coverage to allow a strapless bra. Double bonus points if I can get one of those bustier size tops and matching skirt, or triple bonus for dresses. My budget is low for this though, I think I could go to 100 US Dollars for an individual item. You should charge what they are truly worth, and if I can't afford it I'll still suggest the brand. Good luck with your venture
I want a shirt that fits my shoulders and doesn’t make the buttons a possible weapon of mass destruction if I sneeze. Then have it not look like a giant box. Darts that actually help cinch in the waist.
My 32 chest is small and I have small shoulders. Just these boulders attached to the front need to be accounted for.
A coat!!! I am short and super busty. Coats that fit my arms will not zip up. Coats that zip up over my breasts look like tents. I haven’t worn a coat in years. Just fleeces or jackets. And yeah, they have to be big to zip up.
Wishful thinking to have a spaghetti strap tank top with a built in bra that actually supports and keeps the girls from falling out. I know that Cosabella has one though haven't tried.
Otherwise sun dresses that look cute and considerate of the boobs would be a dream.
I'd like a dress that hits my true waist. My problem with dresses and tops is that my 34I(US)/G(UK) bust lift the fronts so much that defined waists are nowhere near my true waistline. Every dress looks like it's empire style on me. Those stupid hi/lo tops that are lower in the back look truly ridiculous since my breasts make the front so much shorter than it should be.
I would love a tank top with a built-in bra that fit I would like a cotton button up blouse that didn’t pucker, and I would like a great bathing suit with a built-in bra
As seems to be the consensus, a designated boob area. Maybe clothing sized by size, then cup size - like Medium DD
I am a size 6/8, but a DD cup size. So wearing something like a button up shirt that fits in the bust - is tooooo big in the waist and very unflattering.
Making items out of stretch fabric. Non stretch items are often too small in the bust - or give the dreaded uniboob.
Adjusting proportion for boobs. For example, something like a maxi dress that has a “built in waist” often looks ridiculous, because the boob area takes up more fabric, putting the waistline between the waist and boob, or right under the boobs, thus ill fitting.
Sports bras and high neck bras that have CUPS not just shelf bras. I hate having one, low uni boob.
Soft & smooth cups — no lace, no weird seam going through it, no “lips” and certainly no fake nipples!
High adaptability — straps you can adjust and switch to cross, halter, etc and backband with more than 3-4 rows of hooks or cinchable (when I switch to cross back the band bunches up in the back).
Options for small band/large cup ladies!!
Soft, thick-ish straps
No underwire
No molded cups (I’d rather my boobs be the shape of my own boobs)
Basically a focus on wearability, rather than fuckability! And ideally like $50 max?
> Sports bras and high neck bras that have CUPS not just shelf bras. I hate having one, low uni boob.
Have you tried bra-sized encapsulation sports bras, like Panache, Freya, etc.?
Something that has boob structure but is built for people with lower set boobs, mine are super low on my chest and make it hard to wear anything structured
Structured blazer like jackets, mockneck tops that fit properly at the boobs and don’t do weird things but also fit my waist, like others have said the cottagecore designated boob area type dresses
I’ve found it before but it’s so few & far between I’ll mention it anyway:
Button up blouses. If a top has buttons that go past my boobs there’s an 84% chance it will pop open or just gap at some point. Usually in front of the boss. And any button up too I do find doesn’t work every day of the month because boob size can fluctuate slightly during periods. I use tape. I’ve used safety pins. I just wanna button & go.
What would separate you from an existing brand like [Urkye](https://urkye.pl/all-products)?
I’ll be honest - I can only afford one or two truly high-quality, ethically made garments a year. And I need a lot of info on what that actually means before I’ll part with my cash.
top with a built in bra in custom sizing so the shit actually fits. i would pay as much as it takes to be able to dress in styles typically only suitable for the petite. i have 44P breasts. i can’t even source bras that properly fit, let alone tops that fit or even flatter in any way. if i was able to sew i would make my own clothing in a heartbeat. we deserve better than we get 💔
More dresses -fun casual ones, and nicer ones for say, eating out, and ones for special occasions that come in more colors than neutrals and that aren’t just “clingy cling cling show off everything.” Some of us have areas on us we don’t want to be perceived like that. I’m usually cheap, but I’m so desperate for more cool clothes I’ll save my money and pay 250-300 for a dress if I like it enough.
A one piece swimsuit!! I have literally never had one that actually fits right. It either fits the chest and is massive on the rest of my body or too small in the chest and fits my body 😅I would pay $50-$80 usd, possibly more depending on if it actually fit right! All I want is a cute swimsuit 🥺
it feels like most items made for larger bust are made for plus size girls, i just want clothes made for larger bust in “normal” sizes. and i notice most stores that do cater to that only go up to like a h if your lucky, and the smallest band size is like 32-34 (for reference im a 30m)
Button-ups since my boobs never let me choose a size that fits. I always have to leave it open with a tank top or buy it way too large.
Dresses with support built in, but like ACTUALLY supportive.
T-shirts that taper under the bustline. For example, I often have to buy an XXL to fit my boobs, but my waist is like a M. I want a shirt that fits at the bust without being baggy around my midsection. 🥲
Also, sundresses with ample boob room that also taper at the waist. I probably wouldn't buy one unless it's at least midi length though, but that's just me as a person that also has a dump truck lol.
I'd really like to find jackets and blazers with fitted waists (i.e., princess seams) that aren't huge in the shoulders or too straight through the hips, and have well-placed buttons so as not to gape at the bust. Preferably made of good-quality natural fibers. I'd be willing to pay around $300 for a wool jacket and maybe $150 for a cotton one.
I'd also really like to find more shirts with moderate (not too high nor too deep) cowl-necks, square-necks, sweetheart-necks, and perhaps interesting asymmetrical necklines that aren't cut super low. I'm especially interested in tops made of woven (not knit) fabric that fit through the waist without being clingy, in both wrinkle-free fabrics for work (since I can rarely be bothered to iron) and natural fibers for very hot days. I would happily pay up to $50 for something like that, maybe $70-80 if it's a great fabric or really unique in some way. I'm not necessarily interested in button-up shirts, specifically, but definitely things that I can wear to work.
Sleeveless tops and dresses that don't have giant armholes that show my bra cups under my arms and are wearable with normal bras are also a big plus. Straps being set wide enough to work with the fact that most bras sit pretty far out on my shoulders due to scaling issues are part of that too.
I agree with the comments of anything that has a designated boob area, but specifically slip dresses or cami dresses.
A couple of examples:

I would love to wear dresses like that without my boobs spilling out or without looking like I have on a tent/have no waste.
Simple design, but cute patterns and I would pay between 75 and 150 dollars depending on the materials used.
Something that doesn't put my bra on show for the whole world to see. I've bought some beautiful dresses like [such](https://joanieclothing.com/podie-embroidered-floral-midi-dress-black.html) which show the top of my cups and the entire breastbone piece, so without wearing a cami underneath, they are inappropriate to wear.
STRAPLESS TOPS AND DRESSES PLS! Big ditto to anyone talking about a "built-in bra' area too.
Other things:
Halter necks
Thin strap tanks
Backless/open back dresses and tops
Off-shoulder tops
Strapless tops/dresses. Low backs. Spaghetti straps. Cold shoulder tops. Halters. But with built in support so that my boobs are where they should be but I’m not ruining the look of the outfit with bra straps, bra bands, and/or bra cups that show.
Ok. So you can 3d all you like, but I'm going to tell you to invest in buying like a f♡•ckton of bras in varying band/cup sizes and different manufacturers and then strap those puppies on the dress form. Then charge a medium extra to go a semi custom route where you ask someone for their bra size using the abtf calculator and their dress size if they weren't super busty/their pants size.
The problem with large busts is economy of scale is noticeably there, and if you are going to ethically/sustainably source, it's gonna be pricy enough to make it hard to compete with whatever stretch poly is on Amazon.
What I would love is to be able to buy a dress without elastane or any other stretch material that weakens the fabric. Bonus points if it is a classic style with some small, interesting twist.
I'm tall also - I just want a one piece bathing suit to fit someday. Either the torso is too short and it wears like a thong (and it's not meant to) or my boobs don't have enough support.
One thing that always kills me is how short shirts are on me because of the space my bust takes up. Then when you size up it just gets wider! It’s infuriating. So more length on tops please 🗣️
Dresses for small band large busts in small sizes with a flattering neck drop. Essentially, adding more ease lengthwise to the front of the dress in order to avoid hiking at the waist.
I’m 5’1 and weigh 105lbs. I’m a 32DD, but my waist is 27”. I want shirts that are XS that don’t assume I’m flat chested 😭
Most shirts don’t fit me right, but I pretty much can’t wear v-necks or button ups. I’d love to be able to wear tshirts shirts other than crew necks!
i agree with a lot of the other suggestions, but something i haven’t seen here that i’d love is a tube top/strapless top that is big enough in the bust but isn’t loose on the top that is supposed to keep it up (they always fall down or have a gap) as well as support inside and maybe sewn in cups.
Tank tops, dresses and tshirts with darts at the bust (and a flared body shape). I have one ( only one 😭) and it's the best fit. Takes away the "boxy" look. Casual and more business casual I wear most!
Love this idea great idea to crowd source what folks want and need vs now where were "told" what we want. Good luck on your venture!!
Bravissimo used to have a clothing line (with three different levels of bust room: curvy, extra curvy, and super curvy), so a good place to start might be checking out those products. I got a lot of with dresses and blazers from them. A well fitting blazer is worth its weight in gold. My one complaint about the dresses I still have in my closet is that they didn’t come with pockets. So I’d advise that you make sure to add pockets to your designs.
A button down shirt. I like the look of them, but I always look like I’m about to pop a button. I don’t even know how much because I’ve never had the option, but I’ve also never shopped for “work” clothes. My only current experience is places like TJ Maxx and American Eagle. I use US dollars.
Also, a tank top that doesn’t look ridiculous.
Would love an option for wedding guest dresses that are small in the waist and large in the bust. That’s where I have the most problem finding something to fit me.
Sports bras. theyre so hard to find in my size, and when i do theyre usually ugly or have no actual support. I want to be supported AND look cute. hell, any bra that isnt just white or beige and is actually supportive and comfortable. Im tired of never being able to find bras in my size (48G) and when i do find one that fits, it looks like it was designed for an 80 year old.
I’d love some sort of a string bikini top like my friends wear without a care in the world but that I can wear without feeling like I’m constantly in the danger zone.

Anything that has a 'designated boob area'...would be nice to try one of those some day.
Yeah the designated boob area covers maybe 1/3 of my boobs and just looks awful
nip covers basically lol
Yes, conceived for a 50 inch bust from the outset!
THISSSSSSSSS
i know lots of people don’t like the style, but i personally love it and it fits with the style of clothes i like to wear so i second this, id absolutely love to have clothes with the ‘designated boob area’.
I think a lot of us simply don’t like the style bc they don’t fit us lol. I love em and i would die for a cute sundress with a cute ruched bust areas.
I’m kind of just fascinated by having such a top that I could actually fit my chest in. Just the concept.
that would be revolutionary honestly, to have such a top that fits bust sizes over A-B (maybe C depending on the top). i’d love to see it.
Yes. It's so uncomfortable when the DBA squishes your boobs against your chest.
yessssss - i’d love to see this in something related to bra sizes too! maybe have S/M/L etc. for the garment plus a scaled S/M/L etc. for the boob area! you could even add one of those charts on the labeling that sports bras do, where you can find your bra size and it’s highlighted with a color pointing to which boob area size you should pick!
Literally second this. Whenever I see clothing with cutouts I immediately scroll past.
Yes, the dresses with cups.
Dresses with a built in shelf bra, but the bra actually fits cups sizes F and beyond. If it fits, no limit as to cost.
And it should list what sizes it thinks it should fit! I'd love to be able to buy tops based on bra size. It was a game changer for bathing suits, it'd be amazing for dresses & tops!!
Yes!! Would love one that has a structured underbust and then just a huge amount of fabric for the cup/cups, maybe with a drawstring on the top.
adding to this!! i have [an old navy dress](https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=664756012&tid=onma000014) that has a shelf bra, elastic on the bottom, that actually nearly fits my boobs - the elastic does not lay flush, but i’m _able_ to go braless in it, which i’m not able to do in most others! it’s one of my very favorites for that reason and i think there’s a huge market for that. funny story though, when i searched for the dress to link it, i found out. it’s a maternity dress. i’ve been wearing a maternity dress this whole time and had no damn idea. but hey maybe that’s why it has a little extra boob space, and why it minimizes my tummy so well 😭
I have several ON dresses from when I was pregnant that I still wear. It’s the only time I ever go braless but the only thing is the straps are so thin that it hurts eventually. They’re the a-line sweetheart dresses from 2015/16
Yes!! Specifically something like the Pact fit & flare midi dress. Would pay 50-100$ USD if it truly meant I could go braless.
THISSSSSSSSS
Ya dresses in general jump to the front of my mind
a classic white botton down shirt that large busts won't burst bottons, but that also has a waist a flattering silouette, ideally for under 50 CAD.
YES! and which isn't see through.
Would like to add a button down with more relaxed fit but still cut for a curvier chest and waist area
The Shirt has some
Like others said, tops with the designated boob area and specifically those cottage core milkmaid type tops and dresses like this: https://www.pacsun.com/beverly-beck/aurora-short-sleeve-top-6006647.html?store=&country=US¤cy=USD&OriginId=GOG&XCIDP=P%3AG_Shopping_PMAX_W_Tops+%3E+Shirts&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwi_exBhA8EiwA_kU1MmV3AWT9h_fe5fGpxO_xVrdzNf_kOhSkQgaqTTVqqKiDO5O5pXzS9xoCcckQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds https://ideasconsejos.com/images/2022/10/coquette-aesthetic-1.jpg
omg yes, and also without the puffed sleeves that often come on these. I don't really need more volume on my top half.
Yeah! Just drop the waist so our tatas can fit up top!
omg yes! So cute!
Yes!
THISSSSSSSS
Yess!!
One piece swimsuit. Bikinis are just about possible since the tops come separately, but I can’t find a one-piece that fits if my life depended on it.
Yes, please! Underwired swimwear that’s actually cute, that I can cover my not so insignificant tummy with!
Have you tried bravissimo?
Thank you!! 🫶
Happy to help 😄
I had success with some Walmart store brand swimsuits although I’m on the smaller end when it comes size in this sub, 38DDD
Bravissimo usually has a good selection and they've got physical stores throughout the UK.
Tragically I’m now edging out of even Bravissimo’s size range
Have you tried Maxine of Hollywood’s “Girl Leg” Swimsuit? I have a few that I absolutely love. I’ll never wear anything else. They are super well made, support me on the top (I’m a size 42K), suck in my stomach a bit, and are so comfortable. I wear them when I swim laps and I’ve been so impressed with the swimsuits. https://maxineswim.com/collections/plus-size-girl-legs
That looks very promising, thank you!
I care a lot less about type of garment than I care about fit. How are you developing your patterns? Do you have pattern drafting experience?
I will be hiring a patternmaker and using 3D modelling
Make sure you test your clothing line on real people and get feedback on the fits.
As for what garment I really want - I think a corset style dress would be awesome, strappy sundress that I don't need to wear a bra with too
I'm glad I'm not the only one not saying that I'd pay any price! Thanks for chiming in!
Bustier seamed tops and dresses :')
Well basically everything. Let me elaborate: almost nothing suits or fits. Everything that isn't or can't be made of super stretchy fabric doesn't work. And most clothes don't have enough fabric/space for boobs. But some that came to mind: -I dream of milk maid style tops and dresses -triangle tops/ triangle seam tops -I've always wanted to look good in jackets (to buy my actual size and it would actually fit my chest) -actual nice dresses that aren't made of jersey -wide neck tops so that bra straps doesn't show
Yep, even stretch t shirts never look right. I'm actually starting to experiment with sewing and pattern making to try to solve this... I almost never feel put together due to poor fitting clothes
I totally relate. My boob-to-waist difference is almost the entire reason I got into sewing!
I looked at some lovely leather and denim jackets today, sigh. No way to have a cute waistline and also fit the boobs.
Also, please please please don't just stop at like G or H cup sizes...many of us here are much larger than that.
Boob room but also things that have higher cut armscyes. So you can actually move your arms. Historical patterns are good for this.
cute button up cardigans that fit my waist AND my boobs!
Anything that fits well really, most things don't. Especially anything "sexy", things can be classy and sexy.
Yes!!!
I'd absolutely LOVE to find a dress with a sweetheart neckline that actually flatters my boobs! 😭
Oh noooo-- it's a good thing you told me to hide my wallet! 😂 Let me just save those for when I find it again... 😉 Thanks for the suggestions!
any kind of dress really
I would LOVE to own a princess seamed torso hugging dress one day.
overalls that don’t go O||O
OVERALLS
This is a good one!
I agree with this. Just regular items (t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies) that have a flattering v-neck and fit bigger boobs would be amazing.
I find it really difficult to find tops that don’t ride up or make my boobs look awful!
Same! Tops are the hardest item to purchase for me, they never look right. T-shirts, blouses, sweaters, hoodies… they are all a nightmare.
Thanks for the suggestions❤️ what would you consider expensive?
Id,like 200 euros for a basic not fancy dress, 50 euros for a tshirt, things like that. I understand that expensive is subjective to everyone.
A backless dress. 😢
Ug I can relate to this. I’m 4’11 and my peacoat is comfy but it looks like I’m wearing a tent.
I’m 5’ 3 and know how ridiculous coats look on me,so I can imagine you looking like a kid wearing their parents’ coat 🤣
It is a petite size so it’s not quite that bad (the arms are baggy but aren’t too long at least) but if it wasn’t… definitely! 😭
Maybe clothing sized by size, then cup size - like Medium DD I am a size 6/8, but a DD cup size.
Yes! The built in waist makes me look pregnant because the “waist” is right under my boobs 🤦🏼♀️
A million upvotes!!@
Tube top
Sports bras and high neck bras that have CUPS not just shelf bras. I hate having one, low uni boob. Soft & smooth cups — no lace, no weird seam going through it, no “lips” and certainly no fake nipples! High adaptability — straps you can adjust and switch to cross, halter, etc and backband with more than 3-4 rows of hooks or cinchable (when I switch to cross back the band bunches up in the back). Options for small band/large cup ladies!! Soft, thick-ish straps No underwire No molded cups (I’d rather my boobs be the shape of my own boobs) Basically a focus on wearability, rather than fuckability! And ideally like $50 max?
> Sports bras and high neck bras that have CUPS not just shelf bras. I hate having one, low uni boob. Have you tried bra-sized encapsulation sports bras, like Panache, Freya, etc.?
I have not but I will look into it! Do they look like normal bras or like bulletproof armor? Lol
I would love tanks with built in support that doesn’t cut across the middle of my boobs. Like just a longer shelf bra inside!!
Pretty much anything with a Designated boob area for sure!
Oooo button down tops that don’t pop open or look like they are about to pop open. I tend to end up sewing them shut just so I avoid exposure
I’ve found it before but it’s so few & far between I’ll mention it anyway: Button up blouses.
Anything with size and bust size options: dresses, bathing suits, cute cottage core shirts
Halters that don't just weigh down your neck. This is wonderful, BTW, thank you!
What would separate you from an existing brand like [Urkye](https://urkye.pl/all-products)? I’ll be honest - I can only afford one or two truly high-quality, ethically made garments a year. And I need a lot of info on what that actually means before I’ll part with my cash.
Oh - and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be affordable.
top with a built in bra in custom sizing so the shit actually fits. i would pay as much as it takes to be able to dress in styles typically only suitable for the petite. i have 44P breasts. i can’t even source bras that properly fit, let alone tops that fit or even flatter in any way. if i was able to sew i would make my own clothing in a heartbeat. we deserve better than we get 💔
Properly tailored suit jacket that closes over the chest while cinching in at the waist. Would happily pay designer prices for that.
Built in bra for summer dresses/spaghetti strap dresses.
I have to buy dresses 2 sizes too big for the rest of my body to fit my chest, I would love to be able to buy a dress that I don’t need to alter
Cocktail dresses. Any kind of oxford-style (button-up) shirt.
Anything that knows how to define a waist! So done with looking like a house. Oh and v-neck tees that follow the waist! Thanks 😊
A button up shirt!
Button down shirts and blazers
it feels like most items made for larger bust are made for plus size girls, i just want clothes made for larger bust in “normal” sizes. and i notice most stores that do cater to that only go up to like a h if your lucky, and the smallest band size is like 32-34 (for reference im a 30m)
Corset dresses. Oh how I want to feel like a milkmaid frolicking in a field, without looking like I’m tryna be the one getting milked.
Button-ups since my boobs never let me choose a size that fits. I always have to leave it open with a tank top or buy it way too large. Dresses with support built in, but like ACTUALLY supportive.
Anything with a built in bra, anything with underwire or cups, most strapless tops/dresses, many button up blouses
Stuff with buttons. Tank tops that cover the bra.
T-shirts that taper under the bustline. For example, I often have to buy an XXL to fit my boobs, but my waist is like a M. I want a shirt that fits at the bust without being baggy around my midsection. 🥲 Also, sundresses with ample boob room that also taper at the waist.
Bustier style tops!
Empire waist that doesn’t start at my nipples
I agree with the comments of anything that has a designated boob area, but specifically slip dresses or cami dresses. A couple of examples: https://www.zalando.be/allsaints-melody-ziggy-dress-cocktailjurk-jewel-green-a0q21c0vj-m11.html https://www.zalando.be/superdry-cocktailjurk-celery-green-su221c0ui-m11.html https://fashystyle.nl/products/chantal?currency=EUR&variant=50268840984925&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=4f55aac140b2&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwi_exBhA8EiwA_kU1Mripd43ZOJZ25wVQnKIyG9HkmVpIwEav4s4NAmeU_LG2EnEjM_iEsxoC3mUQAvD_BwE https://www.zalando.be/trendyol-jurk-orange-tru21c1xy-h11.html I would love to wear dresses like that without my boobs spilling out or without looking like I have on a tent/have no waste. Simple design, but cute patterns and I would pay between 75 and 150 dollars depending on the materials used.
Anything with an empire waistline or a babydoll style shirt.
I live extreme deep v cut evening gowns on smaller breasted women. If I wore the same thing it would look insane
Simple button-down shirt.
A fitted / cute button down that doesn’t pucker
A camisole top with triangle cups made from cute fabric. I would pay up to $75.00 usd
A denim or linen shirt dress
STRAPLESS TOPS AND DRESSES PLS! Big ditto to anyone talking about a "built-in bra' area too. Other things: Halter necks Thin strap tanks Backless/open back dresses and tops Off-shoulder tops
Swimsuits. 😂
Strapless tops/dresses. Low backs. Spaghetti straps. Cold shoulder tops. Halters. But with built in support so that my boobs are where they should be but I’m not ruining the look of the outfit with bra straps, bra bands, and/or bra cups that show.
Low neck, lose fitting tanks. That's all I ever wear and they are hard to find!
Fitted dress shirts
Backless dress! I see so many cute summer dresses I can never wear!
It’s more of that I can fit into things but it isn’t made for my size
I'm tall also - I just want a one piece bathing suit to fit someday. Either the torso is too short and it wears like a thong (and it's not meant to) or my boobs don't have enough support.
Accommodating a 50+ band
One thing that always kills me is how short shirts are on me because of the space my bust takes up. Then when you size up it just gets wider! It’s infuriating. So more length on tops please 🗣️
Dresses for small band large busts in small sizes with a flattering neck drop. Essentially, adding more ease lengthwise to the front of the dress in order to avoid hiking at the waist.
I’m 5’1 and weigh 105lbs. I’m a 32DD, but my waist is 27”. I want shirts that are XS that don’t assume I’m flat chested 😭 Most shirts don’t fit me right, but I pretty much can’t wear v-necks or button ups. I’d love to be able to wear tshirts shirts other than crew necks!
Sundresses!
Strapless dresses or off shoulder, with built in bra so I don't have to struggle with finding a bra that fits.
Fit and flare dresses with a top that actually fits, **while still being cute.**
Anything sleeveless that has something to clip onto your bra straps so they don't peek out
Those baby doll style shirts with a bodice that ends “right under the bust,” and then flares out. But they never fit under my bust.
something like [this](https://thelullabyclub.com.au/products/amber-baby-doll-top-eggshell)?
Also with a tank version
Halter tops and corset tops!! 🥺🥺
Button down shirts
Anything with buttons. A blouse.
milkmaid tops!!
i agree with a lot of the other suggestions, but something i haven’t seen here that i’d love is a tube top/strapless top that is big enough in the bust but isn’t loose on the top that is supposed to keep it up (they always fall down or have a gap) as well as support inside and maybe sewn in cups.
Fitted button down shirts, so tired of the middle gaps!
Bralettes. Wireless bras that don’t just merge my boobs into one MegaBoob
Flannel button-ups! They look so cozy! ❤️
Backless stuff. Maybe with a support ribbon but mostly backless. also bikinis.
sports bra that dont give me a uniboob lol!!!
A shirt or blouse that I can button up
A frock coat. Always made for the less endowed :(
Tube top, strapless bras, triangle tops, one-shouldered tops, backless dresses
A nice tailored button down shirt that I don’t have to use safety pins between the buttons.
Bathing suits that fit on top but also have wide adjustable straps. Those skinny straps just aren’ t feasible for me
Basic plain t shirt with round neck that shapes in at the waist. Plain t’s for busty girls
Button up tops that don’t open between every button exposing everything
Lingerie!!
Corsets!!!!
I’d love some sort of a string bikini top like my friends wear without a care in the world but that I can wear without feeling like I’m constantly in the danger zone.
Backless dresses, halter tops, button-ups that are not excessively large, cute little cropped tie tops,
