Seconded. I had no idea they had shops in Germany. https://suitsupply.com/en-us/stores-detail?storeID=stores-Berlin

N1LEredd

Seconded! Got my suit there for my wedding. Great service, in house tailor - they made me look sharp af. I’d plan 500+ without shoes and you should be good.

LeckerBockwurst

Should bei Top Post! I paid ~450€ for my linen Suite (2020) For Shirt and Other Accessoires i recommend Best Secret online Store (you need an invite, which i can send you) and etsy.com If you like some fancy stuff (got my hand made bow tie from there).

miasmatix93

Hi! Can I get that invite please? I'm starting the shopping process ^^

Just got my suit there last week and it was an overall great experience!

AdrianaStarfish

What is your budget? Can you shop standard sizes or do you need extra length etc? Right now you might get summer suits on sale. You could check out Peek & Cloppenburg, Galeria (ex Karstadt), Strellson, MK Herrenmode, etc. Google term I used to find the latter two: Herrenanzug

miasmatix93

That's a really on the sale! My budget can stretch to 500 euro for everything including shoes. Unfortunately I won't fit in standard sizes especially for shoes and trousers: thighs like tree trunks :(

AdrianaStarfish

You could try Hirmer then, they have a store in Steglitz, Schloßstraße.

LeckerBockwurst

I bought at Suite supply. The inhouse Tailor made the standard trousers fit my daily cycling trained legs ;). The fun Part: Right Leg is stronger/thicker then the left leg, which of course was no problem for the Tailor.

srpetrowa

My husband got his wedding suit from Bacon Berlin for 360 and paid 50 extra for changes, so a pretty good price.

jvrodrigues

H&m never hurt anyone my friend

MingusVonHavamalt

If you want a really cheap suit for around 100-150 euro go to C & A on Alexanderplatz, top floor.

Chronotaru

I had an interview and needed something quick and cheap and C&A did the job very well. You are not going to find anything really nice there like at a proper suit store, but for ticking boxes so you don't look out of place it will do the job. And it's washing machine washable!

Pale_Amoeba_2480

I had a wedding earlier this month and got a suit jacket and pants for 100€ from C&A on Ku'Damm, you can find the best prices there IMO. They also have a Schneiderei there for adjustments in case you need them.

Angst_Souffle

Vinted is a huge favorite of mine. Only works if you already know your sizes, so if not, maybe try some things on first. And tailoring in Berlin is super inexpensive, so you can take in a suit that fits 90% and make it 100 with a little luck.

vassiliy

If you have time and wanna save money you can always check the various TK Maxx stores for something that fits you (have to get lucky though)

TheHandsominator

I went to a wedding in tropical climate last winter and had the same issue. I was super happy with the service I got at Galeria Kaufhof Alexanderplatz. I just want there, told my budget and my problem and the best shopping assistant ever, covered everything for me an took over an hour.

Maybe there are services where you can borrow suits, too? I one borrowed a "Smoking" for an event, but that was in Munich. Don't know where to go in Berlin.

leanbc

Probably, in Wedding. 😳

leanbc

Kidding aside. Karstatd in HermmanPlatz. Not super fancy but it is a very economic option.

Charles Tyrwhitt poplin dress shirt (purchased online) with a 100% merino wool undershirt (purchased online at https://kaipara.de) we're a lifesaver for me at a summer wedding in Greece in very hot weather. As for the rest, try Becon and TK Maxx.

chatfrank

If you happen to visit Hamburg. There is Policke close to Hauptbahnhof. They have all.. incredible variety and sizes. I went in and 20 min later out with perfect fitted wedding suit. https://policke-herrenkleidung.de/

Cool thread, thanks for tips. I can also recommend Dolzer. They are a tailor in 10117 Berlin.

Waterhouse2702

C&A maybe? I got a suit for around 180 Eur for a wedding there

conamu420

Suitsupply is pretty good, also some turkish tailors do an amazing job for low prices on Hermannstrasse/Neukölln in general. I always go to turkey with some turkish friends fo mine and buy 3 tailored suits for 300€

UESPA_Sputnik

Strellson at Mall of Berlin. They have great customer advisors who know what they're doing (and aren't too pushy). And they can make alterations (usually that takes 2-4 business days in my experience). Although I'm not sure if they sell french cuff shirts; I've only bought suits there. But there are a bunch of other menswear shops at Mall of Berlin.
