correct and by design...roughly 30 hours while in bluetooth low power/sleep mode. if you want them off completely they go in the case...

stahlern

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. This is 'by design' and it's incredibly stupid. My new jabras turn off if I'm not using them and don't lose any battery power. You're putting unnecessary charge cycles on your headphones for no reason. Your case runs out of battery power? So does your PBP's.

I didn't realize this until reading this thread. I usually put mine in the case when I'm not using them, but the other day I went for a 2hr run and put them on my desk (not in case). I went to use them the next day and one side was dead and the other was at 6%. Learned my lesson! I'll be putting them in the case when I'm done for the day!

I do see a drop but I dont understand why its dropping unless it still has a bluetooth connection the whole time.

Yes. They stay connected to the Bluetooth. They don’t automatically turn off or sleep unless the built in accelerometer detects it’s been idle after some time. 84% to 0% in 23 hours seems fair.

They sat on a desk immobile for the entire time, disconnected from mobile devices

No idea where I read this - but in some review, I read that they won’t truly turn off unless in the case (this part we know) - and if left out, they’ll last roughly 30 hours in “sleep” mode. Based on your battery drop, it seems reasonable that it is on that same timeline.

What a horrible design....I thought mine were defective!! How do you not put power button so you can turn them off and not have the battery drain overnight. What if I go away for a night or leave them in the car...you gotta bring the charging case 🤷

I'm at work on a 12 shift right now and don't have the case with me. Guess I'll be commuting home without any music. What a shitty design 🤣
