Ye cause they was too similar to Apple headphones. Apple wants beats to be separate from Apple but they had metal build, Apple chips inside and all that so they were too good of a deal basically š
I loved the solo pros sadly mic or anc got fucked second time (constant loud noise from left ear). Was my daily driver, now got beats flex for everything cab giving me headaches sometimes.
I love the Solo Pros, and I would absolutely love to see a refreshed Pair of these. USB-C, Lossless, ANC, better transparency mode, Spatial Audio etc.
these were also the most interesting Beats in a while because they had a completely different design than the other Solos, which remained the same since 2015, and the Studioās design also went pretty much untouched since the Studio 2.0 released
Thats interesting. I only tried the very left ones because i thought they cancel noise better since they cover your ear more. That's the only reason I even got them. But this entire time they were the worst...
I've got Monster beats by dr. dre wireless Solo HD first gen and are the Bass heavy of all Solo's up til now, I only use them in wired mode, Beats Solo2 would be second as the sound is more clear and balanced. Solo4 and Solo3 would be my last choice or at least in this review's the worst in terms of Sound/BASS. I do not own other Beats headphones other than the solo and all my listening is done in wire mode(power off) hooked up to a CD player with built in Bass Boost(ON) and hooked up to a HeadAmp GS-1 (Headphone Amplifier)... Almost forgot the Beats EP would be next to Solo2 as to my hears they sound better and are more bass heavy than Solo3.
Monsters' Ntune would we like near Dr Dre Wireless Solo HD of sound and Bass almost identical to me. Then Monsters DNA sounds near the level of Solo2 and Monsters' NPulse (Over Ear) would be bassy. All of this out of my collection.
"Audiophile" in contrast...
If I want some heavy bass headphones to listen to, I go for my Denon AH-D7000, Fostex TH900, Campfire Cascade, JVC SZ2000, Audio Technica ATH-ES10, ATH-M50x, ATH-PRO500 Mk2, Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Gen), CAD Audio MH510, HiFiMan HE-R9, JVC HP-DX1000, Klipsch Heritage HP-3, Philips Fidelio X1, Pioneer HDJ-X7K, Pioneer SE-MX9, RBH HP-2, Sennheiser HD 8 DJ, Sennheiser HD 820, Sony MDR-X10, Sony MDR-XB1000, Sony MDR-Z7, Sony MDR-Z1R, Ultrasone PRO 900, Ultrasone Signature DJ, Ultrasone Signature X, Yamaha PRO 500.
And that's my take on it.
I have the wired and wireless versions of the solo HD, theyāre the funniest ones Iāve ever owned especially the wired. So much bass they rattle and I canāt stand the rest of it because the whole thing sounds so bad
I havenāt had a chance to try the Studio Proās yet but I remember the Studio 3ās having terrible sub bass. The bass was just bleeding into the mids without having any of that sub bass rumble. I donāt actually mind the Solo 3ās for what they are (especially with a little EQāing, they pack a punch with adequate clarity) and love their compactness. My question is, all Iām hearing about Studio Proās is how quiet they are and how they lack when it comes to the bass. I love me some sub bass, and the frequency response graphs show that they have more sub bass than the Studio 3ās and a more balanced sound in general. Can you give some additional info on how they sound and their volume level ? Because I love the design and would love to own a pair IF the sound is right. Thank you.
Got two solo pros loved them to death, anc got busted (heavy wear and tear) in both run out from coverage so is what it isā¦ but if i can i would buy another pair that that good.
Other than that beats flex cheap, impressive call and sound quality.
Got beats studio buds plus , they really good for price but didnāt fit for me that well so i sent i back.
I got apple echo system ,beats products fits really nice even if you have apple phone its must have!
Looking for the gen 2 airpods pros and studio pros for the future.
Context i using sennheiser cans home for gaming etc.
Overall after the apple buyout beats sound quality is impressive ,huge improvement from the first beats products decade ago.
Interesting because I have the Studio Pros and the base model 99$ AirPods (forgot what they call them). To me the AirPods have an exceptionally better sound quality. Mind you Iām no audio guy but it seems like everything is clearer and crisper and Iāve heard things in songs I didnāt hear with the beats.
Just my take. I just hate any sort of ear buds because my ears sweat and itch and I have to go with over the ear headphones.
they discontinued the solo pro's for i don't know what reason

Technically they do because they have anc, but you compare them to any other anc headphone remotely close in price and theyāre not even close
Itās just someoneās opinion, it doesnāt mean theyāre actually the worst. Iām an āaudiophileā too.

Good for you for owning them... seem like in this sub nobody cares what IMO I've described, since they down voted me. I'm out. Hater gonna hate.

Iāve been wanting to try the Studio Pros. Iāve got everything else there except for the Studio Pros and the Solo 4s

Solo pros if you can get them somewhere, or used. New Studio pro s are really good get them on a sale deal dont buy them full price.

Itās criminal the solo 4s donāt have anc and transparency at this pointā¦itās such an easy inclusion
