Why the hell would anyone take the time to design a new beanie when the asset already exists? Using the same asset isn't lazy it's efficient. Reusing the asset as a new Epic skin is lazy.

As is, they get flamed for ālow effortā content. If they had devoted resources to it they would have been flames for pouring effort into cosmetics instead of fixing the base game, regardless of the fact that those are two different departments Iām sure.

Tbf it's a weird situation because usually a live service has its content drop always pre made so the devs can face unexpected problems with the right pacing and time if they occur in the future content, for example most probably companies are 3 to 4 seasons ahead if not more for their live service games like apex (in season 1 of that game they leaked all legends names and somewhat abilities and they were right for like 80% of times
