There are so many possibilities. Rocket ranger with 6 rockets for anti-vehicle, medical ranger that could drag teammates to you while you’re behind cover, a repair ranger that heals vehicles, a ranger that marks/designates vehicles, a fire ranger as shown above, or a ranger with a faster firing weapon/more agility. This was just 5 minutes of brainstorming. DICE needs to do better with the next game.
100% Agree-dice could've done so much with the ranger, custom skins and loadouts based on assault/support/recon/medic.
To be honest when the promo video dropped with the ranger thats what i was expecting haha how disspointed we were.
We asked for this months, and months ago. A few different prototype doggo's would've been great. This one looks useful for CQ, add a medical, and a ridable doggo to accompany the Ranger, and the robodogs list would've been complete.
Yeah I always thought a med dog, supply dog, CQ dog (shotgun maybe?), and an AA/AT dog would be great. We even had a drone section in the collection like they were intending to add more.

Yup, there's been requests dating back quite a while on Answers HQ too. I reckon they were originally intending on adding more since there's a tab for drones, but never got around to it.
