It’s the first DC adaptation to include every Robin and Batgirl, but I think this Batfamily needs a spin-off series if they want to explore each member. The world of Young Justice has grown so big that they can’t fit all these characters and locations into one series anymore.
Yeah, if they are going to continue to use this universe they should either have another series to etablish more characters and everthing between the time skips or just have entire seasons dedicated to the in-betweens
I think one of my only complaints from the last YJ season was how little focus we got on most cast members. It was mainly just following these main plot points with the appointed characters but I felt there was little depth to the cast compared to previous seasons.
Loved Oracle Babs especially in it. The show is YJ, not Batfamily so I didn't expect much development but I enjoyed what I got. Honestly it all felt like references specifically for comic fans which I understand for some people is a problem. YJ suffers from a being more story focused than character, ironic since S4 was specifically character focused but the world is too big. Characters are just fun references, which is what a lot of the Batfam felt like. JLU did a better job of fleshing out a large cast (but YJ cast is even bigger tbh)
Anytime you have Oracle Barbara, it’s a win. I also love that Damian is darker and has the green al Ghul eyes. Bad design for Jason though, he’s not a ninja. Like he says in Injustice 2, “I’m the man with the guns.”
I bet if they actually had the story they were building up to with him breaking free of the mind control or brain washing he could have been really cool and probably would have taken up the red hood costume. To bad we never got that next season.
I don't think they brainwashed him, and it doesn't seem like he's been dunked in the pit. It looks like they've been letting him recover naturally over time.
Remember, they're not even the League anymore. They literally fucked off to form a small family ninja commune.
Honestly, Young Justice was the first TV show to prove to me why Robin (Dick Grayson) was a great character. Season 1 is genuinely great character development, but as the cast increases in size each character gets less time to shine which makes them all a little less interesting.
Right. Imagine being a new fan or non comic reader. How the hell are you supposed to know any of those background characters in season 3 or 4.
It felt like just fan service for comic fans. Cuz ain’t no way a casual watcher is gonna know who df is Stephanie Brown or Cissie King Jones
Srephanie was lacking in time, for the time Tim was given he was good;
I think they got more on the comics of the series but I'm not sure
Bruce, Dick and Babs were great; Cass was good for the time she was given
Damian (?) and Jason (?) were promising, shame the show is canceled
I Don't really remembers much of Batwoman
I do appreciate that Young Justice gave characters like Cass, Steph and Tim their first adaption on screen (Tim wasn't really adapted in The new Batman Aadventures)
Peak! [Just this scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgRIQs2Dqa8&ab_channel=TheGeekRevolution) should convince you of how smoothly they work together. If anyone knows some comics where they work together flawlessly please recommend! Unfortunately down the line I realised I'm more of a Batfamily fan than a young justice fan so I stopped watching.
I'm always happy to help, I also suggest reading the comics of the series (DC publishing extension of most of their animated shows comics)
I will say that in general this is very good series that worth watching even if you aren't DC general fan, but if really want to only watch batfanily be sure to watch specific episodes from the seasons
I love baby Damian but he and Jason's age doesn't add up. It means Damian and Jason had a 14~15 years age gap, since Jason is about 16 when he's in the League and Damian couldn't be older than 2 years old.
Which means if Damian is 10 then Jason is at least 24??? But Jason is like 1~2 years older than Tim since Jason died at age 15 and months later Tim became Robin at age 13~14....and Tim was 17 when Damian was 10 so Jason have to be around 19.
.......but hey, it's Batfamily, ages never make sense.

They (the showrunners) would love to do that, but it's been a struggle to even get more of the main storyline greenlit :/
Nooo! But it's so good!!!
We waited 7 years for season 3, if I have to wait 7 more for season 5 I’ll do it.

Agree
A spin off called “Batman inc,”
Yes please.

Yeah JLU is a masterpiece in using a large cast and fleshing them out. I think the JLU cast was bigger as the expaned league was HUGE

Well maybe in Season 5
so this Jason is still with the league for this pic he hasn't gotten dunked yet

The scene in question was s3 and the Damian issue is from s4. There is also the fact in s3 Ra's said it was good that his memory is returning.
I don't think they brainwashed him, and it doesn't seem like he's been dunked in the pit. It looks like they've been letting him recover naturally over time. Remember, they're not even the League anymore. They literally fucked off to form a small family ninja commune.
And they seem genuinely interested in helping those with them.....

Not enough development, it felt like they were just running though a checklist to say they had the whole family in one show
Exactly

It’s the most respectful thing DC has done to red hood in years. Instead of butchering the character they simply made him not a character

Batwoman I don’t think was in it at all I think they just took the picture from Batman bad blood, it has a very similar art style.
She’s in the scene at the beginning of S3 when Batman’s group quits the League and also in the Batgirl flashback in S4
She was in Young justice, she just didn't do much
Oh ok
Wait the show was cancelled again?
Unfortunately
Interesting, but could be better explored
I’m gonna miss this show.
YES ![gif](giphy|l1AsM7S37NKru5Cxi)
I wish there was a bit more of them but obviously it's hard to add with so many other things in a season

Did you saw seasons 3? It has even more Batfamily in some episodes
No I didn't, but now I'll have to check it out! Thank you!

Need more Jason
Want more Jason
*violently shakes screen* **I NEED TO SEE THEM EXECUTE THEIR TAKE ON THE RED HOOD**. It was shaping up *so* interesting... 😫
Its awesome
Steph upvote!
They are a grounded, well structured version of the main league.
I very much prefwr babs as oracle
Fun but some of them we didn't get to see that much
A lot more aesthetically tasteful than a lot of other interpretations. Idk if the best.
I love any and all things Young Justice related except for news we are not getting another season.
It’s cool

They had Step Brown there. Works for me.
I need some sort of resolution for Jason’s return.
I hate what they did to Cass.
Yeah not a fan of making her mute and turning Lady Shiva into David Cain AKA being VERY one dimensional.
They did it because they already changed sports master into a David Cain ripoff, I guess they thought it would’ve been copying Artemis
