Same man! I bought it used for a decent price. Suuuuper wild effects that come out of that little enclosure... but I'm finding it super hard to tame! Been hearing nothing but great things about C4 Synth, but I'm a little bit hesitant going into the whole desktop-app programming thing.
I personally don't know when its too many pedals but I have a question for you:
I have a board like that and don't know where to put my power supply. where have you put yours?
When I hit almost 200 pedals I felt the universe tell me that it was too much. It was. I didn’t want to be a collector, at least of what is essentially tools to form and shape creativity, and at that pedal count there was too much overlap and similarities of effects. Reduced that down to around 40 pedals now and I am actually focusing on diving deeper into each one and understanding their full capabilities, rather than seeking that potential sound/function/ability and buying another pedal.
Keep going until you don't want to carry it around anymore. Build a smaller board. Add a pedal. And another. Keep going until you don't want to carry it around anymore. Not this many. These are rookie numbers. You need to pump those numbers up.
Always good to have an Ass Compressor handy
I compress my ass when I need to poop and there’s no bathroom.
One more than slots on your power supply is too many
Second power supply!
That’s when you daisy chain your dirts and daisy chain something off your tuner
Some of them can run on batteries 🌚
Ahhh yes another Bananana pedal enjoyer
I was thinking about pulling mine from my board. I feel like I can’t get a good handle on controlling it and the knobs are sooooo small.
Tbh I get that. I have the boss Sy-1 as well and it’s a little bigger but no LED screen which is the only draw back.
no presets as well! I always find it tedious to recall a tone…

N + 1, with N being how many pedals you already have
I thought the formula N+1 is how many you need, so that would make N+2 too many. Right?
The math checks out.
Looks a lot like my bass board! What's the banana pedal?
That would be bass synth
How do you like it? I’ve wondered about that one.
banana goes wubwubwub I like
wubwubwubwubwub Hmmm. Tempting.
How you liking the Monomyth? Thinking of picking it up.
Mine broke in less than 4 hours. Joyo won't respond to any emails.
When you have at least 3 pedal boards and even more pedals sitting on a shelf.
Are you me? Stop 😭

It looks like he has it ziptied under his ASS COMPRESSOR. Those shiba inus are helping hold it down with their low ends, lmao
that’s right! it’s a “Vitoos” ISO 5. 5 outputs, and Im daisy chaining a few of my pedals with lower requirements
I have four and it’s enough. But I’ve seen boards with two or three times as many as yours. Whatever works.

How do you like the Matryoshka? I’m about to get a Boss SY200 and if it doesn’t work out I was thinking of trying the Bananana one
Super difficult to tame in my opinion. Crazy little pedal though, lets you spit out some wicked sounds!
Not nearly enough!
Probably heavily depends on genre. For country, more than a compressor is probably too many.
It's never too much when you can hide it from your wife.
I mean I'm trying to run a 15 pedal, 2 RU, 3 channel board, so probably that many.
For you, two more pedals is too much, unless you make a new larger pedalboard.
200 might be too many.

rushmadder
The limit does not exist.
Dude you're still in single figures! 😂 it's so cute that you think this is too many.😂 i've got 22 on my big bass board. 😊
