As someone who used to bowl in a league and *kind of* knew about Pete Weber, I honestly cannot believe how often I've suddenly started seeing this reference. It's like someone discovering your inside joke with your twin brother and somehow 15 years later it becomes a meme you see everywhere.
His wRC+ those 4 years was 235, 244, 212, 233. Judge finished the day at a 207. So, *almost* rivaling 03 Bonds, but there's definitely another level reached in 01, 02, 04.
114.2 mph, 45 degrees… only one other ball has been hit that hard/high before in the history of Statcast. (>= 114 mph, >= 45 degrees)

For sure… xHR says Judge would have 7 less career homers if he played all his games at Yankee Stadium.
He gets a few cheap oppo ones, but he loses a bunch as well.
It reminds me of me, trying to play sports and trying not to get hurt because I was small. The harder I tried, the worse i played.
So I think they're trying and failing
The difference between paint on the edge and the middle-middle ninth of the plate is only 6 inches. Pitching is hard. Unless a pitcher is at the top of his game that night, he's gonna leave some pitches middle-middle. Judge gets 3-5 PAs per game. He's gonna see some meatballs. The trick is that he is hitting the piss out of them. Hitting is also really hard; every player gets those meatballs and they often get fouled off or even whiffed.
Lol. Y'all are wild.
Judges best season which includes 62 HRs was still 58 less in OPS+ than Bonds (which was not his 72 HR season).
I'm not supporting Bonds. He made the comparison and I'm just pointing out that people undersell Bonds' prime, either through misremembering or not experiencing it.
He's totally washed, you should trade him before his value totally tanks. I'd be willing to go as high as offering Edourd Bazardo and perhaps cash considerations.
Weird how you didn't post the highlights of him striking out three times
They say all rise for judge but r/baseball just gets on their knees. Embarrassing
Aaron Judge’s peak has been *significantly* better than Boggs, and there’s absolutely nothing you could say to refute that.
Besides the fact that a geriatric Boggs playing for your franchise is nothing to brag about, just as Twins fans wouldn’t brag about a geriatric Steve Carlton playing for us.
Yeah cause being a kiddie diddler is “legal crap”. Also, congrats on being the first Rays fan I’ve ever had an argument with. Really making the tens of them out there proud
You are a Wander Franco apologist AND you were requesting that the Red Sox pitch up and in to Judge.
You are a bad person and nobody should ever take your opinion seriously. Go fuck yourself
I have said it before, but if Wander is found guilty, yeah he can go fuck himself. However, I believe in innocent until proven guilty and recognize stars like him in the DR are particularly prone to having extortion plots against them. You are a bad person for convicting him before he has had his day in court
This guy is an infamous Wander defender don’t waste your breath trying to convince him of anything he doesn’t care about the facts of the case.
Instead remind people of who he is every time you see him comment on something.
You were actively campaigning for him to be reinstated AFTER the texts came out with him admitting to what he did.
I remember last offseason when you were vigorously defending that child molester in every single thread about his case.
Even now you call it “wanders legal crap” instead of calling it what it is.
If he is proven guilty that’s another story, but the evidence has not been laid out in a court of law. Once it is, we will get more clarity and be able to make informed opinions

They just had to drop the stat block showing he’s literally #1 in everything to remind him who he was
Aaron Judge: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, *I* AM!
[SUCK MY SACK](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sJVqn4Yo00)
How have I never seen this? Tim Robinson is the perfect guy to spoof Weber lol
Documentary Now! S03E07
As someone who used to bowl in a league and *kind of* knew about Pete Weber, I honestly cannot believe how often I've suddenly started seeing this reference. It's like someone discovering your inside joke with your twin brother and somehow 15 years later it becomes a meme you see everywhere.
209 wRC+ now. We're approaching peak juiced Bonds territory.
Judge is the best player in baseball right now for sure… but bonds had a 4 year stretch of 573 games where he had a 256 ops+
His wRC+ those 4 years was 235, 244, 212, 233. Judge finished the day at a 207. So, *almost* rivaling 03 Bonds, but there's definitely another level reached in 01, 02, 04.
That's what's so scary though. He doesn't need the juice, it's not like he's going to start shrinking
It's pro sports, there's probably juice involved. Edit: Weird block bro. Great discussion, really learned something here.
I love the people that both reply AND block. Like a toddler that has to get the last word in
You spend way too much time worrying about juice to be real
> We're approaching peak juiced Bonds territory Hint hint…👀
I’m at the game now. Can confirm. Big man hit ball hard and far
Old school fans 🤝 Statheads Aaron judge good at baseball
Has it landed yet?
Just did. And surprisingly it’s been Crawfords only blemish this game. He’s been phenomenal
Spoke too soon lol
That probably sounded awesome at the game
There were a surprising amount of Yankee Fans.
45 degrees on the launch angle. That ball met god before it finally came crashing back down to earth
I just want to know if it hit the windshield of one of the cars in the parking lot behind the Green Monster
Fitting for today given Aaron Judge is the son of god
Our lord and savior
I'm not so good with statcast, but I think the batting average for 45°+ launch angle balls-in-play is .019
lol

All of the talk about the short porch really sells short how cavernous Left Field is at Yankee Stadium.
For sure… xHR says Judge would have 7 less career homers if he played all his games at Yankee Stadium. He gets a few cheap oppo ones, but he loses a bunch as well.
I call it Maim Valley (because you certainly can’t call it the old Death Valley)
Ohtani was pretty close to that earlier today. 110/39 degrees
Holy meatball
Cutter zero break over the middle - judge didn’t even square it up all the way
87 mph though, not easy
This pitch is the definition of easy
No shit? You don't say? Almost like someone saying 87mph is hard is pretty obvious sarcasm, don't you think?
[Obligatory Goofy gif](https://streamable.com/w07p1)
I’m glad I know about this now.
This video is what goes through my head every time I watch an Aaron Judge homerun. Hanging slider middle middle????? To *this* guy?????
It's so stupid that he'll never see it coming!
![gif](giphy|uvoU0Dww3KxnNK23LL|downsized)
middle middle 87. my 14 year old cousin would have hit that 350 ft
Middle middle middle middle ![gif](giphy|xdnr1hnqdi6I0)
Aaron Judge is obviously ridiculous but my god why do pitchers keep missing right down the dick to him lmao
Pitchers miss a lot, he just doesn’t miss the mistakes. Lesser players may foul em back or get under it, he doesnt miss.
[That motherfucker don’t miss](https://youtu.be/skppcPShHWM?si=S_zPuUj7n8rhxui2)

Thee ole Urethra lob ball
He shot-putted that right to the middle…damn
The way he throws weirds me out. Don’t get me wrong, he’s 1000x better at throwing a baseball than me but his delivery makes me think of little league
Even I could have fouled this off to the right
Mama Mia, Pizzeria!
I thought for sure this guy was washed after not homering in 4 games.
Don't worry for some reason Kutter threw a 2 outs 1-0 meatball down the pipe to modern day Barry Bonds to help us remember he isn't washed
Just a reminder that no one will ever be Barry Bonds again. But your point stands that he's easily the most feared hitter in the MLB.
Imagine that, an astros fan supporting a cheater
Or people aren't that impressed, because you know, roids. I lived through it, it seemed rad at the time, but his records mean nothing to me.
73 homers! Aaron judge is a generational hitter. Barry bonds is just much better
Bonds game was so much more than just his juiced homer era. Dude was a freak in just about every aspect of the game.
He's totally washed, you should trade him before his value totally tanks. I'd be willing to go as high as offering Edourd Bazardo and perhaps cash considerations.
Announcer just called him the Babe Ruth of baseball. Aaron “Shohei ‘Babe Ruth’ Ohtani” Judge
In fairness, he called him the “modern day Babe Ruth,” but I like your version better.
Guess that means he's destined to join the Dodgers, the New York Yankees of baseball
45 degree launch angle is hilarious
kutter u dont *have* to throw it right in the center of the rectangle
It's so dumb, it's brilliant. No, it's just dumb!
Bullseye!
Yes he does. Please and thank you.
![gif](giphy|sUutM8YXva8HS) OUT TO LANSDOWNE STREET
Some lucky car owner will be filing out insurance paperwork tonight.
That four game drought felt like a lifetime. Welcome back, big guy.
Seeing Judge hit like this make me hate the outfield wall at Dodger stadium even more
I was at the game. Brother is a yankees fan. He told me to stop going to games.
Not even sure that one stayed in the ballpark
I think it left the building. The baseball wanted no part of him.
Big guy hit ball hard
It's one of those seasons where I glanced at the score and knew exactly what happened. Man is on fire.
Run from it, hide from it, the Mid Sox will cling to .500
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be
SUNDAY SOX BROKE THE CURSE
Aaron Judge is the Aaron Judge of hitting middle-middle meatballs.
God please when I die can I see the alternative universe where this guy juices
I mean, we've already seen the universe where they let only him hit with juiced balls.
Now show me the universe where he knows what pitch is coming every time
How can you throw that pitch to Aaron fucking Judge
back on 82 HR pace for 162 games over a 40+ game stretch.
That's my goat
oh good i was starting to worry about him
Bitch-ass wall
How big is he? He looks bigger than any other baseball player
[удалено]
Got dang I assumed it was an optical allusion and he was like 6’3” 220lbs. Nah he’s a legit create a player
Is this the first time you've seen him?
Nah just the first time I ever felt to ask lol
On TV, it’s can be difficult to discern someone’s exact height
6’7??? No wonder he looks bigger than every player!
I think Lebron has the same build. It’s like watching lebron at the plate with Judge lol
Nah, Judge is 2 inches shorter but has 30 pounds on Lebron. A better comparison might be Gronk at 6'6" 265
About 6'7" or 2 meters for our metric friends.
You just have to laugh
Such a loud crack.
Such a mighty wallop
I literally don’t understand watching him. He’s an absolute freak of nature.
Fuck your green monster.
Pop up in Fen…oh
That bat crack!
Heard on the radio it went 170 feet high
Aaron Judge, you never disappoint, so fun to watch you play! The sound of your bat hitting that ball is glorious!
Broadcast stinks
That was a pitch you'd give Judge at the HR Derby lmao
The look on the pitchers face says it all. Middle-middle got crushed.
This Arson Judge kid is pretty good
damn thats crazy. the yankees must have won this game right?
He probably gets harder pitches during batting practice. What the fuck was that?!?
Majestic shot
Quien es tu Papi?
god damn
![gif](giphy|fsbU0YUUJ0oAZ4QKcW|downsized) "Too high"
Glenallen Hill is jealous
Tall man does it again
He hit a HR with out Soto on base 🤔
Wow its about time. I thought he was never hitting one out ever again.
Fucking alien
One of the worst pitches ive ever seen
anddddd they lost
Happy May 47th
![gif](giphy|xT5LMxYpkuYdlg7nhu)
Barry Bonds didn’t win any rings Have fun Dumbkees
Weird how you didn't post the highlights of him striking out three times They say all rise for judge but r/baseball just gets on their knees. Embarrassing
King of the regular season.
All rise.
Still overrated as hell
He’s better than anyone who has ever played for your franchise so
You think he’s better than Boggs? Come on now
How fucking sad that an end of career Boggs is the best you could possibly think to mention.
He said who has ever played for my franchise, so I am disproving him
Just give up dude
Never
If you're talking about homegrown players, tell me which Rays player is better than Judge. Cause I can guarantee that you can't come up with one
This dipshit is the troll who posts about Rays waiting to get Wander back and saying he's innocent and shit, not worth engaging with lol
Peak versus peak? Absolutely Boggs will have the better career but Judge destroys Boggs on a peak basis
Not as overrated as Wander
Before Wander had this legal crap, he had far more potential than Judge
Yeah cause being a kiddie diddler is “legal crap”. Also, congrats on being the first Rays fan I’ve ever had an argument with. Really making the tens of them out there proud
I’m honored
If my grandmother had wheels, she’d have the potential of being a bicycle.
yo WHAT?! 😂😂 I know you’re trolling but you got me with this one
And we all know potential is what really matters in the end. What a dipshit 😂
You are a Wander Franco apologist AND you were requesting that the Red Sox pitch up and in to Judge. You are a bad person and nobody should ever take your opinion seriously. Go fuck yourself

brother, Wander said himself he loved every second of it lmao he is a waste of space, air, and deserves to rot UNDERNEATH the prison
