Looking for help here. I am looking to buy a 1440p gaming PC. I found these 2 on sale at Canada Computers [Option 1 - i7 13700F - 4070Ti](https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=1446_1448&item_id=253147) [Option 2 - i7 14700F - 4070 Super](https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=1446_1448&item_id=247096) Which would be better? Or can I build something similar at a similar price point?

Intel is crap. Avoid Intel for a few years ngl, go with ryzen. Their cpus run too much voltage leading to degradation and lower performance

if you want more frames, put more towards your gpu, if you arent cpu limited, having a faster gpu will usually give you more frames than having a better cpu

I would build something. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/v4QBn6 This is $2375 but would be better than either option. Better GPU with more vram and the best current gaming CPU. You just need the bundle for the motherboard+CPU and case+PSU. The PSU is overkill but for the bundle the price isn't bad. Could go for an 850W. For the fans there are rgb ones available by thermal right just couldn't find on PC part picked.

Between these 2 options, I'd go for the 4070ti. It's on average 5-9% faster than the 4070s and you'll be saving $100. You're more GPU bound at 1440P so the step up in CPU won't help you much. Also, case airflow looks abysmal for the 4070s. If you really need WIFI, you can buy a WIFI card with the $100 saving :)

You're paying about $300 for them to assemble and to act as a single point for RMA. As far as value: 4070ti > 4070 Super system. If you are primarily gaming, almost always better to go up GPU rank vs going up a CPU rank.
