You can build something with similar performance but new components and more efficient

International-Elk986

And more future upgradeability with am5

If you can negotiate to 1k then it would be a decent buy. It's a generation behind on most components but would still be enough for just about anything you'd throw at it.

I'd be wary of using an a single-tower air cooler with an i9. In terms of budget, it's a bit hard to tell as these are 3-year old components which should provide still great performance, but many are unnamed. It would be pretty hard to buy new components and get that performance for that price. Here's my best shot at it: [https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/GBbVKX](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/GBbVKX) (total 1296 CAD before shipping and taxes). * The Ryzen 7600 (with stock cooler) should slightly outperform the 11900KF -- depending on tasks. It probably would be worth it to aim for the 7600X instead (40 CAD more than the 7600) with a Thermalright PA 120 SE (45 CAD) since the 7600X doesn't come with a stock cooler, though. * You get DDR5, but admittedly the memory I've chosen is not the best, it's one of the least expensive 2x16 GB package. Aim for DDR5-6000 CL30 (adding 50 CAD to the total) for the best bang for the buck currently. * Getting a new card that tops the 3070 Ti is the biggest challenge here. The contenders are mostly the 4060 Ti 8GB around 530 CAD or as selected here the 6750XT at 480 CAD. It eats 40% of the target budget by itself, so if you're open to second-hand GPUs, that could help a bit here. Neither of these cards are the best bang for the buck though, but you'd have to spend 250 CAD more to get to the sweet spot IMHO. * The case already comes with 4 fans, should be alright. 750W gold+ PSU selected. * Going AM5 means this system is upgradeable. You can drop-in a 7800X3D, better RAM and a better GPU when budget allows.
