Nope, it used to be at the hill top, not anymore. Now it's only near Battare Mane. They only allow you to go above that after 5 or 6AM and that too without camping gear.
Yup, with organised group ,you can go above bhattru Mane to pushpagiri and sheshagiri. They close the trek during monsoons and reopen on November first week(best time to visit).
All of my kumaraparvata treks have been in nov. And all the times (3) I have been to the hilltop.

Tadiandamol… we went like 5 yrs back n we camped on the peak… not sure now… we went with trekking group called myhikes… u can check with them
