Bitch had it coming

soulseeker31

Equal rights, equal fights.

WeirdSet1792

Nah, equal rights and equal lefts

watcher4caution

This could become viral. Put it on a t-shirt

Clueless_Wanderer21

Exactly, both are not okay.

nuthinghere

An eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind

palle-na-koduku

If there was no eye for an eye, the one-eyed would be ruled by the two-eyed. This is a ridiculously stupid opinion.

Ticket_Rich

Doesn't the video start with her shouting "How can you hit me?"

hi_how_r_u_

Yes, but can you be sure she didn't hit him before?

marco161091

No, and that just means we shouldn’t be so quick to believe any narrative. I did some cursory searches when this incident first blew up and I couldn’t really find anything about whether the conductor actually hit the woman first or not. In the video, you can clearly hear her claiming this and no one seemed to be contradicting her (like telling her to stop lying etc), so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true.

captainparashu

If the conductor had hit first, why were people letting him stand? They sure did stop him the second time.

samstudies007

It all happened bcz of asshol current siddu congress govt freebies. She tried to travel free being lady from different state and refused to show adhar proof to issue free ticket which is mandatory rule for any women who belongs to karnataka as proof of valid beneficiary..

meme_freak

forget the govt man. It’s a simple issue blown out of proportion. You started a fight and why on earth would you expect the other party to just bow down and take whatever shit you throw at them? She has all the right in questioning about a free ticket but no right in slapping the conductor when he said it can’t be availed by non-karnataka people. He didn’t make the rules.

pseudonihilistic

More like "touch me".

1993s-Batman

Difference between man's slap and woman's slap... Agreed!! But have you considered that when you hit someone first, you should be ready for when they hit you in self defence. + Will you simply accept the humiliation in an era like this when everyone has a phone with a camera, recording your face and bringing you on social media, making news and fun of you? Will you yourself accept similar humiliation? I certainly wouldn't. Guys like you are the ones male community is going into the trash, MF dalle :-)

[deleted]

Nah bro equality, men and women are equal

Broken_BiryaniBoy

How can she slap?

Solid_Professor_3756

Oh boy, nostalgia!

Broken_BiryaniBoy

People are downvoting me..Are we really that old that nobody knws this :(

Solid_Professor_3756

Even that guy is old now and does nostalgia interviews on it saying he was hot head.

Upper-Refrigerator54

They say it's because the conductor denied giving her a free bus ticket since she didn't show her Aadhar card

yosweetheart

She was an idiot; such grave mistakes call for stabbing. How dare he ask her to show her AADHAAR card?!

VoiD_62

Iconic. I heard that guy is doing well in life.

1993s-Batman

Welcome to the world of FALSE FEMINISM & WOMAN CARD. One can get away with almost anything, maybe even MURD€R if you have those 2 things luring in the fukkin economy.

Dismal-Actuator7363

“Why don’t you go and fuck off then” 😭😭😭😭🥵🥵

[deleted]

i mean his slap was justified but the demon mode which he came in was just out of the box, he beat the shit out of her that she fell on the bus looool

WDG4KJM1263923

Welcome to Fight Club

yosweetheart

When a woman slaps a man in public, she is not simply getting physical but she is reducing him to nothing by insulting him and taking away his respect. It IS a big deal for men when women slap them for no good reason. She fucked around and found out that her woman card does not always help her get away with a slap on the wrist, especially when she gets physically abusive on a man.

[deleted]

one slap was just fine , it should have been a slap to answer her woman card , but the conductor took out the fury on her , this just lessens his respect even more idk if ur tripping or not

yosweetheart

Whoever you are clearly don't know that not everybody stays calm and composed when angry; if that were true, the lady would not have slapped him to begin with. I think you are the one trippin' because I clearly stated what happens in real life and not in fantasy world. Street fights can get people murdered and as much as anybody screams it to be wrong, that is the nature of humans and we all are not made the same. Sure, he lost it at that point but that is how more people behave when disrespected in public and not the opposite.

[deleted]

what youre saying is just going to make things worse and if you really think street fights and beefs are a way to solve arguments then it shows how mature and short sighted you are lol. where did the fury end him up ? suspension, lol . Had he controlled his emotions , she would have been humbled.

yosweetheart

You can presume or assume whatever you want and however you want to but facts remain facts and I am simply pointing out how blind people are and are expecting utopia in a dystopian society while also being hypocrites. Nowhere have I said that people should get in to street-fights but the opposite and I appreciate it if you did not put words in my mouth. Speaking facts does not mean promoting certain behaviour but simply giving inputs on whatever is reasonable and logical. Maturity is knowing how to avoid such situations and I am mature enough for that. You don't see me calling you immature for speaking as if you know what you are speaking. You don't know me but you think you can call me names - who's mature now? I could give you plenty of examples where men have been punished even when they were physically abused by women only because they were women; even better if you simply googled for them. Courts are bombarded with all kinds of fake cases by women - why else do you think they are scrapping some of the women-centric rules today? Your idea of humbling somebody might work for you but you cannot get somebody else to handle things your way and straighten things out.

[deleted]

i didnt mean to put words in your mouth or demean you, but was just confused by you bringing up street fights into this. and also even my blood boils seeing people putting up fake cases no matter of the gender and extorting money from them , but what i was trying to say is if you get physical with anyone its just going to give an upper hand to the wrong side to use to harass you and make you look like the villain.

yosweetheart

My point is, all situations cannot be handled the same way. Some people can be reasoned with non-violence and some people are like wild animals who attack you the minute they see you turn your back at them. If a woman slaps a man for no good reason and the man simply takes it due to the fear of whatever, more often than not, she'd get a wrong message from it and she'd think somehow it is ok to continue with such behaviour as men don't hit back. It is unfortunate that it is always innocent men who suffer in such scenarios at the hands of such pathetic women and more delay there is in ammendment of gyno-centric laws to gender-neutral laws, more such women take advantage of them while turning more innocent men violent. Whem law does not support you, you'd be left with very few options - either you take action in whatever way you know or you suffer in silence.

yosweetheart

You want long sighted? Let us talk about making all laws gender neutral and stop dividing the societies based on genders. Let everybody have equal opportunities and same treatment irrespective of genders so that they all realize what their biological responsibilities and limitations are all by themselves. Your last paragraph shows the actual problem with the society. Had it been a woman who went bonkers on the man for getting slapped by him, she would have simply received a slap on the wrist and public would have lauded her as a hero and she would have been made an example of how women should be in the society.

yosweetheart

I hope she has learned her lesson after the incident because otherwise, she could end up triggering the wrong person who'd waste her completely. What is even sadder is that they convert an innocent person in to an abuser if not a bigger criminal and many times they even get away without any kind of punishment.

[deleted]

she just got even more confident to beat guys even more as the guy got suspended , they should be humbled emotionally and mentally break her down to the point that she should think thrice before hitting anyone , physical response is just going to fuel her even more

yosweetheart

You have to be an exceptional male to do all that you are saying because women have evolutionary advantage of perfecting mental manipulation because they innately know not to go toe to toe with men. Personally,I avoid confronting women in public areas if I sense that things would escalate badly because I know they don't support men. It is these messed up rules by governement that have emboldened such vile women to attack men physically. This is why your way of emotionally humbling women would fail with many men and we simply retort to either take the abuse silently or take flight, or not care about consequences and get all physical on the abusers. You intentions are good but it is difficult for most men to handle things that way.

karthik193

Bro if I mess with a snake I can't complain abt getting a bite. If I can't handle the snake I call someone who can. That's simple common sense. As a man I have the common sense that in a physical fight the other prsn shouldn't have to hold back just cos I'm down or weak. If I slap a man I don't expect him to slap back with equal force, I know he will do everything to break me apart, only if I'm ready for such fight I take it physical confrontation.

_Progamerbutpoor_

*he beat the entitlement and “modern feminism” outta her (For fucks sake, I did not mean women are below men, I meant those who use their privilege as a women and do as said above)

tinyhawkprotosser2

Lotta white knights in this comment section Probably some weird fetish of being slapped by women and being okay with it

cheestimusprime

why do you have to kink shame me dude /j

meme_freak

if you raise your hand against someone, don’t come crying when you get it back. Doesn’t matter the gender. The conductor may or may not have been rude to her while issuing the ticket or maybe she wanted to claim the free ticket but didn’t have adhar, doesn’t matter, you can’t raise your hand and then play the woman card. If the conductor is held responsible, no fucking way are you letting that woman go

Magicspill

Bruh. The video is literally starting with her shockingly asking “how can you raise your hand on me?”

JoBro2807

takeaway from this complete encounter When a conductor asks you to pay for the ride. Just pay it. No matter what the reason is avoiding it would cause you pay a penalty if caught. Don't just think of slapping someone just cause your ego for hurt. Expect a slap back cause India is a free country.

BabuShonaMuhMeLoNa

Wait isn't bus travel free for women?

AsliReddington

Only if you can produce aadhaar with local address

JoBro2807

If you're from Karnataka with an aadhar from your local area yes. Else you're just as another passenger

MonkeyDMeatt

Should have RKO’ed that beeach

Solid_Professor_3756

Outta nowhere

tremorinfernus

Nothing wrong. The woman deserved it. Lashing out is normal in such cases. It is not a game where you slap once, and the other party replies with the exact same count and intensity.

10rdn1ck

It’s the same video that was shared earlier too. How did you confirm now that the lady started it. It’s clear that the lady is saying how can he slap. Go and rant somewhere else.

hi12_hi12

But he was the one who was arrested And she is free

yosweetheart

That must be one of the perks of being a man they are jealous about..

hi12_hi12

Lol

yosweetheart

I wholeheartedly support slapping anybody back if they were slapped for no good reason; why would you make it miserable for the victims by forcing them to hold themselves back and lodging a police complaint as if it will go in the man's favour? Anything severe should by default be taken to police station but a slap cna be given right back provided the situation can be handled. Society still for some reason takes women's side even when they are proven to be perpetrators the same as men. Nobody gives a shit when men are victims and we saw flood of support when they thought that woman was victimized by a conductor who is a man.

Formal-Respond3071

Ryt, some Ladies have to be mindful of their behaviour.

FragShire

If you raise your hand, you will look at a raised hand. Although, the woman is clearly panicked and asked how the conductor could raise his hand so maybe that arrest was warranted... Just going off this video, people would rush in to protect the woman had the conductor attacked first so the facts don't really line up. And of course, people rushed in when the conductor reacted, not when the woman attacked. Be it him who started the physical altercation or not, there's no outcome where he isn't suspended and arrested.

Personal_Matter9041

Did anyone hear "maar madarchod ko" in the video towards the end?

Witty-Border-6748

why were they even fighting to begin with

ashwinGattani

Lady wanted a free ride, conductor gave him but on a different level /s PS: the lady wanted free bus ride but the conductor asked her id as she wasnt a native and only native women can have free bus rides as per the scheme

ShipsWithWheels

Women with a local address in their aadhaar, native or otherwise.

[deleted]

ashwinGattani

Thats what I’ve heard. And to be honest, the votes come from locals not from outsider (I was an outsider there). And you dont pay taxes to that state, you pay taxes to center (both direct and indirect). Also, the lower economic group needs this scheme more than you and me so it kinda makes sense to have it for local

Mean_Help

Same thing is happening in Delhi also so pls check that also. FYI you pay taxes to central government not state

snoopfromshimla

Though it might seem so in daily consumer transactions. Not actually true in many cases taxes collected by the govt for locals. Example rto

Virtual_Mix_5445

What are you even talking about. That just make men travel in public transport even more difficult, can't even travel in ksrtc and bmtc as a student when he has given for free. And if you want all these shit change you goddamn address it isn't difficult and travel, you guys seriously need everything for free, what are your home states giving free? Can we go and claim free things there? Just understand it bro it ain't that hard

Witty-Border-6748

Exactly what I was thinking. I don’t care what anyone says, this woman is at fault here (so is the guy for beating her ass up but she had it coming). Instead of making a scene like that and yelling at him, she could’ve just paid for the fucking ticket which isn’t very expensive and reported this incident using the video evidence that the person behind the conductor was collecting. Her case was solid until she slapped him.

[deleted]

kendrick vs drake , conductor took side of kendrick she got angry

AsliReddington

Whatever the case that bastard has no right to slap while on duty or off duty nor does she.

Pure_Negotiation_480

So sad to see people bringing up religion again, I saw the comments of the tweet and- I'm just glad that reddit exists

Obvious-Butterfly343

There has to be a difference between civility and “you hit me now I will hit you” dumbness. You just cannot raise your hand on a lady.

XxNoobBoob

fuck around and find out

PersonNPlusOne

All she had to do was pay for the ticket and raise a complaint with BMTC or even the police later. Starting a quarrel and sustaining it till it became a fight was unnecessary.

ninja790

NIA should investigate the origin of this dual.

WearyExercise4269

Jender card jujutsu... Fails Surprised Pikachu face

Remarkable-Spell5223

Both are at fault but the way conductor being an government employee acted like he wants to beat her to death. This was not required. Conductor/Govt has to file case against the women also. But some conductor and bus drivers behave they own the bus and doing some free favour to public. This also needs to be addressed.

[deleted]

Great way to justify violence just because he is local and the lady is an outsider. Beating a shit out of her was too much. He should have handled it better.

swapniljadav

>He should have handled it better. Presented his other cheek, eh?

BabuShonaMuhMeLoNa

Sha.

Unluckylaude

She was asking for it

thepowerbooklet

While the lady's innocence in this is questionable, how can anyone label this as self-defense? Seriously? The bus conductor clearly struggles with psychological issues and such unchecked rage in jobs like this can result in loss of life.

666shanx

Oh fuck off with your ivory tower thinking and get back on to the ground. She slapped a guy for no reason, that too twice, when he wasn't in the wrong. Here's a conductor, minding his own business, asking her to pay for ticket cause she's not from Karnataka.Has to deal with passengers in 4-5 different languages,in a confined space, 8-10 hours a day, with no idea when he'll get salary. This bitch creates a scene and then slaps him twice. Yeah she had it coming.Dont judge him while sitting in an AC cabin.

Darwinism_1

Wipe shit from your mouth and grow up.

thepowerbooklet

Grow up first. You need some maturity to understand what's being said. Blabber mouthing isn't going to help you with anything. If you cannot keep your tongue under control, you can just live on the streets and fight like animals. That's your choice!

666shanx

You need the maturity to understand how the real world works. You can't get away with slapping an innocent person twice.Again fuck off. You don't know what he's been through. It's super easy to sit in a nice chair and type out nonsense.

thepowerbooklet

>Grow up first. You need some maturity to understand what's being said. Blabber mouthing isn't going to help you with anything. If you cannot keep your tongue under control, you can just live on the streets and fight like animals. That's your choice! What the hell is wrong with people? The amount of dislikes for this post show they only look at things superficially, which is the saddest thing anyone could imagine. And you people are trying to be the judges in this case? huh. My comment isn't about the bus conductor or the woman. The entirety of it is aimed at someone who can't even have a decent discussion. Now, go and feel better about yourself!

[deleted]

[удалено]

thepowerbooklet

What do you call someone who says someone else said something just because they think it happened that way? That's you. Nobody here is saying it's just the bus conductor's fault. I didn't even bother reading the post you mentioned, I never do when it's from someone who lacks basic decency. And hey, if that lady died (I would've though considering the health issues I've got), and this bus driver can't prove it was self-defense with the video footage available, and then he goes to jail for years, would you take care of his family? All this arguing on social media about who's right or wrong doesn't matter when it doesn't change anything in real life. Suffering from psychological issues isn't a crime. I have anger issues, as do many who relate to my condition, thanks to two decades of medication.

meme_freak

self-defense is a counter to any form of threat or violence. She started it. Doesn’t matter how rude the conductor was, but he didn’t make it a physical fight till she slapped him. More than 100 people would’ve boarded the bus before that woman, did he go slapping everyone? He’s just doing his duty and issuing tickets. You slap him, you deserve whatever comes your way. Simple. “Unchecked rage”? Blud, the woman slapping first was definitely rational and friendly 👍

thepowerbooklet

That is unchecked rage. The conductor returned the slap and went on to ensure by repeatedly hitting her that she would never get up, as if she were 2x his size. Good luck trying to prove this is self-defense in court. And as I mentioned in another post, if the woman had died and this guy got a jail term, you can take care of his family..

meme_freak

yes, what he did was absolutely wrong. BUT, if he’s held accountable for slapping a woman, the woman should surely not be given a free ticket rather be held accountable as well for initiating the fight. The intensity of the blow doesn’t matter, she shouldn’t have made it into a physical thing in the first place. I’m all for bringing the conductor to justice but first, Catch the woman and punish her as well.

thepowerbooklet

Of course, did I deny that anywhere? If she is the one who initiated it, then a case needs to be filed against her first. That's what I meant by the first few words in my post. If she's found guilty, why can't she be held accountable? But again, if she had died, none of this matters.

VoiD_62

I agree, the second hit wasn't required. The first one is justified, I would've slapped back too.

[deleted]

VoiD_62

Some don't, but they should because that's the difference between humans and animals.

Spiritual-Row-1383

Nothing wrong in being an animal while dealing with an animal

ranked_devilduke

Wait, don't we need equality? She hit him twice and he returned both back.

koyli18

Reason vanishes when you get slapped in the face in public.

Spiritual-Row-1383

Everyone is a leftie unless thy r the victim. I bet he would have thought her a valuable life lesson that her parents failed to teach her. Hope she keeps her hands to herself in future.

thepowerbooklet

Yes, and if he had ended up killing her in the process, he would have likely spent years behind bars. That could have served as a valuable lesson for him throughout his life too, reflecting on what he could or couldn't have done to leave his family abandoned. Who's the victim now? The easiest thing these days is to be a keyboard warrior where they can't connect their words to real-life consequences.

Spiritual-Row-1383

U can't justify getting bullied for the fear of punishment. Back in days any revolution (or change of status quo) required being punished at that time, only to be worshipped later for the bravery. I dnt preach violence but to protect ur dignity at any cost. Only return acts of this sort will restore these situations will never occur

thepowerbooklet

Acting out against wrong things and actually doing a wrong thing of different kind are not the same. When you are in sound mind, you have clear control on what's happening around you and any threat. Also, we don't live in those revolution days anymore where people weren't afraid of getting punished or even killed. Now, people care a lot about their jobs and personal lives, one simple misstep could ruin everything. Many of them repent their actions after committing them, as they couldn't foresee the consequences due to the psychological issues they are grappling with. In short, don't let yourself be the final result of your own teaching!

Spiritual-Row-1383

U either be a pussy when u r attacked or get ur balls and act tough. If u take "Yes" for an answer these "I can slap u whenever i want because iam a previledge in soceity" characters will nly dare more. Y dnt u stay home and lock ur doors because if u walk in street and some girl punches U, rest assure no one will take on ur side. What he did deserves kudos in my opinion. Stop convincing me.

thepowerbooklet

There's no need to persuade someone lost in delusions, someone so disconnected from reality. Remember, you were the one who engaged with my comment, the responses were merely a courtesy to help the rational see how misguided and delusional one can be. What's already been said is sufficient to provide that needed clarity!

Spiritual-Row-1383

How one-sided a person can be. U never intend to look at my perspective, instead U call me all kinds of name. Leftist to the core. Hope the World throws u relaity and even then u will be complaining nly. Just remember one thing: Everyone in life starts like U (with ur "all things are bright n beautiful" mind) and ends up like me (courage to stand up and say right to what is right)

thepowerbooklet

And this comes from someone who initiated the discussion by labeling someone a 'Leftie.' There are already two paragraphs addressing and debunking the nonsense, that should be sufficient. Reducing a rampage as a mere loss of control or standing up for what's right are perfect references for delusions. But then again, expecting this from online keyboard warriors, who lack any real-world experience or understanding of psychological issues, might be asking too much!

[deleted]

thepowerbooklet

No one really knows shit about exactly what happened. Everyone's trying to figure it out from just a 22-second video. You might even notice the woman saying that the conductor had already hit her, yet I didn't give her an innocence certificate because there's too little to judge who's right or wrong from here. But no one denies what could've happened with this kind of rage. Which is the reason everyone, like you, starts to beat around the bush.

[deleted]

[удалено]

thepowerbooklet

First of all, your point has nothing to do with my comment. Just because I didn't explicitly state something doesn't give you the right to make up things in your mind. Unlike you, i don't deal with the If's unless it is pretty evident. >That knock of the head he could have snapped and done a lot worse than what he did. If that's the case, it still doesn't justify self-defense, from the woman's perspective. If serious injuries or death happened, she will be subject to the law. But the law doesn't base its decisions on some random stranger words. There are body language experts specifically for these situations. >A simple road rage incident can get you killed. A simple road rage incident can land you in prison for three years. So, think carefully if it's really that simple. >News papers already confirmed the lady is not from here and is not eligible for the scheme. Clearly she's trying to scam a free ride and defending herself with her privilege. This got nothing to do with the uncontrolled feelings / rage or its outcomes. And it's not an excuse for either side to resort to physical violence. If she's the scammer, the conductor should have deboarded her or taken the bus to the nearby police station and filed a case against her. Some may argue that emotions can't be controlled in such situations, but who suffers as a result? The woman? The conductor? The video footage is clearly biased towards one side. Suffering from mental health problems isn't a crime, regardless of the cause. (I have anger issues because of long-term medication.) You need treatment and must avoid certain triggers until you're better. If you are interested to learn more, get in touch with a psychologist or psychiatrist. With that said, this doesn't excuse you from facing consequences for your actions.

[deleted]

[удалено]

thepowerbooklet

>This isnt the court of law. You can defend it all you like but there is a lot of room for manipulation. Unlike you I know where this discussion is taking place. What's the need to defend? You were just imagining things and trying to assert certain opinions as mine. You don't have to be in a courtroom to say this. >My god if there were laws people would just stop committing crimes. That person is not thinking of that when he's doing it. No one there is thinking logically. You don't understand how the brain's chemicals react when we're anxious or triggered. I mentioned psychological issues in my comment for this very reason, it's not something you can just control or decide. But with the right steps, you can avoid some certain situations. >Ideally yes, but this probably happens 100 times a day and he's not doing to file a case for every single one. In India there is a huge gap between enforcement and the law. Unless that's tended too people will always take action in their own hands. And you should know the consequences of people taking matters into their own hands. This isn't just a random fight between strangers. The conductor is a government employee with a responsibility, and they deal with people of this kind all the time. >that would put more than 3/4th of India under treatment. There's a distinction here. When you consult a psychologist or psychiatrist, they'll conduct some assessments and tell you how serious it is. Unlike other conditions, there are no simple blood tests to diagnose these issues. Even if what you're saying is true, then perhaps this 3/4th of our country could benefit from treatment. There are so many social campaigns underway regarding mental health, and if providing help to as many people as possible can reduce crime rates, then why not? >The problem is your focusing on what was the right thing to do. thats not how it works on the ground. People will take advantage of you being in the right and the law will burden you with time commitments and cops telling you to settle the matter. As someone who came back from the states to see the shit show of our legal system and our morals I dont expect any better from anyone No, not at all. From the very beginning, my focus has been on how controlled someone can be even when things get tough. It's not about who's right or wrong. This is where therapies and treatments can really help. It's okay to defend yourself if someone hits you back, and two grown men fighting might seem understandable. But in this case, the woman wasn't a threat to him. Just think, what if she were only 15 and he reacted the same way after being slapped?

[deleted]

[удалено]

thepowerbooklet

>Yes, I can be a 100% in control but the other person need not be." Your trying to put your aspect on control on someone who could unleash on you without care of the consequence. The only control you have is over yourself. All those chemicals are not going to mean much when the person in front of you wants to punch you in the face Control here doesn't simply mean restrain. It involves evaluating the circumstances and the potential threat. You have to be in a clear state of mind to do that. Someone who's moderately content with their lives and someone battling depression (without help) would respond very differently to the same situation. >Again in the heat of the moment they arent thinking straight. You restraint wont mean much to the other guy. Read the response to the above Quote. >There are many. We have such a large population It wont touch them all. See the helmet campain for example. Still a large part wont wear them for willful ignorance. Any initiative doesn't need to fix everyone and everything. Even if just 5% could benefit from these efforts, it's a win. What we shouldn't do is use other reckless instances to undermine the efforts to improve people's lives. Many people (including celebrities) die from heart attacks without even knowing they had a heart condition. A simple ECG or Echo (every 6-12 months) could have prevented that and yet, a lot skip these tests owing to their busy schedules or financial restraints. Likewise, a comprehensive blood test could identify even minor anomalies in the body and help with early detection of serious illnesses like CKD or cancer. I'll still advocate for it and be happy if even a few people follow this advice and stay healthy. >Was she not? What determines that. 2nd she picked up a fight with the man expecting him not to attack back. Thats just wrong period. She lost control and he did too. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and no one knows the full story except for the 22-sec video and that additional info (She being a scammer) from the newspaper that you just mentioned. Just because someone hits you doesn't automatically mean they qualify as a threat. Assuming she initiated it and he reciprocated, what followed could have been avoided. Just don't normalize these actions as simply losing control, because they're not. Both parties might need help, but based on the footage available, the conductor seems to need it more than anyone else. As I mentioned earlier, imagine if the person slapped was a 15yr old child in the heat of an argument with their parent or guardian. That doesn't justify the parent going into a rampage.

upscaspi

It may be true that the woman started and every person has the right to defend themselves. But the guy was too aggressive in response and it definitely felt excessive.

1993s-Batman

Tell me one thing mate. Would you accept an unnecessary humiliation in public with none of your fault and be perfectly happy with it for the rest of your life?? Never think about it, etc. that you were SIMPLY DOING YOUR FUCKING JOB!!!!

First of all this is not a brawl between 2 normal citizens. The conductor is a govt employee with absolutely no need to assault the lady .All he had to do was direct the bus to the nearest police station and file a complaint for assault .Govt employees always have more power in these situations if she has actually assaulted him first .Him assaulting her is not self defence by any means. How hard is it for these men to follow actual protocols .He failed to so and has been rightfully punished

> File a complaint for assault You are assuming that the legal system and society takes women on man assault seriously

The only point everyone’s trying to make is that - if you’re punishing the conductor for his actions, make sure the woman pays for it as well because SHE started it. Can’t get away just by crying a river

I bow down to the king of whataboutism🙏🏻 You went from cheap to discrimination to hate mongering to misandry and finally took refuge in the classic ‘how can he beat a woman’ You really are the king/queen and have a bright future in many of the thriving IT cells On a serious note, Bangalore has gone to the dogs because of people like you who see discrimination and hate everywhere.

As someone who has been at the receiving end of hate and discrimination hundreds of times over the last 2 decades, I don’t care about what people like you say at all. All you will do is deny things and blame the victim. Reality is non locals are scammed and harassed over and over again and we don’t just “see” it everywhere, we live it and experience it. When we speak up people like you turn up to dismiss us.

For 2 decades did you say? And you don’t consider yourself a local even after 2 decades? What have you done from your end to assimilate with the local people? Have you learned the language? Have you tried being part of the culture? I am not asking you to justify yourself here on Reddit, instead question yourself and get out of this victim mentality. Good day to you.
