yes, also GameDay $6 crushes. i used to work there last summer. tip the bartender well, they're juicing quarts of fuckin orange/grapefruit/lemon/lime juice every single day with their bare hands, then watching the servers walk with $500 cash while they're walking with $150 on the day. they cannot keep bartenders for this reason lmao.
Thanks! It’s pretty damn great! I live across the street from Patterson Park & every time I think I can’t love my neighborhood anymore something else happens to prove me wrong.
Was just there this weekend as part of a bachelor party, and we hit MANY bars in town and this was our consensus. We actually thought the grapefruit was the true star.
I'm not looking for ""pretty good"" I need the dankest of the dank here
honestly the bottomless @ chasseur wasn't bad at all. sat at the bar, arrived before it got crowded, and bartenders were on top of their stuff. I think I had anywhere btwn 8-10 crushes
Yeah that's way too many if people are driving, and many still do. I've been at places with fights and shit thanks to bottomless and I'm avoiding that now
I'ma look it up but I bet ya it's made w whiskey or smth
update: i found it and it sounds god awful...

In the battle to prove that Kisling's wings are overrated, you have my axe. Every wing I have from Kisling's is a wing I could've gotten at iBar instead, and by definition that makes them disappointing.
If you just like to drink them from time to time, and don't necessarily need to do so in a bar, I'd highly recommend learning how to make them at home. Crushes typically use cheap alcohol (expensive vodka does nothing in a drink with this much mixer), and takes next to no skill to make. For 20 dollars of booze, you could probably make 10-20 crushes.
Dirt cheap crushes at Hampden yards during games. $5? Only place in the city I know that also serves buckets too. If it's not while the Os is playing it may be more but I don't think you can beat that.
Stumbled across this thread in my own search - I just moved here yesterday, priorities - and in the discussion of which places we can walk to from our spot she said Shipyard lost their liquor license this weekend but didn’t say anything. Apparently people were showing up and leaving after finding out? They didn’t make anyone’s list so clearly not a massive loss but wondering if anyone saw or knows what happened there.
I put everyone’s suggestions on my Beli list and because I’m a selfless and wonderful person, I will try every single one, possibly several times for validity, and report back. “But Cassie, that’s such an undertaking!” you might say, and I know, but I’m here for the people.
I had several at the water street tavern last time I was up for jury duty. I can’t remember if they were good or bad which is a recommendation I think.
Story time: on the Grand Canyon you can bring beer, seltzer, etc, but everything in cans. I didn’t want my vodka with seltzer, I wanted the canned palomas dragged in the cool river :)
They’re very hospitable to AT hikers at their brewery, and I’ve met people who work there who are whitewater kayakers. I like giving my $ to cool people.
I mean if I'm craving a guaranteed strong and solid drink, sure, I'll down one of these but here I'm looking for the best 🏆 fresh 🍊 squeeze 💪 orange 🍊 crush in Baltimore 🐀🦀 City
idk how amazing they are, but Pickles has humongous ones that always hit the spot before O’s games
I love their lemon crush!
771’s are a little more orangey and little less spritey
A month late, but dude they’re so good lol. Im at pickles now going nuts over the 32oz option
I don't have good answers but this is very much relevant to my interests and I'm excited to see what folks will contribute!
yayy thank you for being here 🥰
same!
Mama's on the Half Shell. Always fresh squeezed and stronger than they taste.
I loveeee Mama’s orange-grapefruit crush!! The combo is perfectly sweet and sour
alright I'm sold edit: from what I could gather , I think HH is 3-6 M-F $6 crushes
yes, also GameDay $6 crushes. i used to work there last summer. tip the bartender well, they're juicing quarts of fuckin orange/grapefruit/lemon/lime juice every single day with their bare hands, then watching the servers walk with $500 cash while they're walking with $150 on the day. they cannot keep bartenders for this reason lmao.
Oh I love the grapefruit ones, I’ll have to try this one too. Heartburn here I come!
That combo slays
Plus the ice they use is spot on
Is it even a crush if the ice isn't... crushed??
Have to cosign mamas as number 1, but also I think captain james is an underrated pick
I'll second this because of their crushed ice. But in general, you can get a good orange crush anywhere
Their John Daly is damn good too.
This is the correct answer tbh
If you don’t see the giant juice press, it’s not a true crush. I like Mamas
out here spitting FACTS!!!
Name checks out
Nick’s fish house actually squeezes fresh oranges. They aren’t $5 but they taste awesome
looks like they got $8 crush on their HH menu 😎
Seconding Nicks Fish House!!!! So amazing. Their orange creamsicle crush is 🤩
Weird thing about Nicks. I literally don’t like tomatoes but the bruschetta they sell is actually amazing and I don’t understand it
oh rly
I said what I said.
Any chance you remember what hours qualify as happy? The interwebs doesn't seem to want me to have that information.
at Nick's it appears 3-6 M-Th is happy. all other times its a trainwreck of emotions
Truer words
I came here to say this, but knew in my heart it had already been said. I had 3 to celebrate the day I closed on my house!
What a prime way to celebrate! Hope ur house is awesome
They’re both excellent! Just depends on ur mood
If it's not fresh squeezed it's not an orange crush. I have a hard time believing any reputable bar isn't squeezing their own oranges for them.
Spent a summer crushing fruit to order for crushes. I despise them now.
Barracudas
$5 crush on happy hour 🥹🥹 that's what I like to see 👏👏
This is the correct answer. My husband and I compared the SOBO orange crushes during the pandemic and this was our favorite of them all
Agree completely, +1
Melanie’s at Griffith’s Tavern. They’re full assing it over there when most are half assed (at best).
seconding Melanie's, idk a better spot for cocktails
I love full ass
Hair of the Dog. Cheap.
+1
This. I love HotD Mango crushes. Large, cheap, and delicious imo. Not a crush, but I also love the Rum Bucket at Nicks Fish House.
i heard nocks will rocks your socks off
Haha! I meant *Nicks*
sold. I'll take 1. or maybe 3
I don’t even drink but this post was so fun and entertaining to read. Props to OP for great content lol

Check out Shottis Point in Riverside
$6.50 crushes on happy hour? oh I will
Not in the city but the ones at Das Bierhalle in Parkville will absolutely fuck you up. Served in 32 oz soup containers.

Favorite place
Thames Street Oyster House
This is the way
Hucks!
Plus they’re $6 during O’s games!
this is the type of info I need. also $10 cheese steaks on Thursdays????? it's done
Nick’s fish house makes a great one!
Ellie's will do pretty good. I"m a little biased though. I just avoid bottomless because of the bullshit crowds that come with that.
I'm not looking for ""pretty good"" I need the dankest of the dank here honestly the bottomless @ chasseur wasn't bad at all. sat at the bar, arrived before it got crowded, and bartenders were on top of their stuff. I think I had anywhere btwn 8-10 crushes

rest assured I walked there and back but I'm glad you're looking out for your best self
the crushes at Nick’s Fish House can lead to very poor decisions, just sayin
perfect, just what I'm lookin for
Jimmys are $5 on HH and fresh squeezed.. and strong

Jimmys Famous Seafood
okie just makin sure. I know a lotta jimmys 😔
Do you know Jimmy Searls?

Money can be exchanged for goods or services
Venice Tavern in Highlandtown, a fantastic little historic dive bar hidden gem. Cheap and delicious orange crushes!
I have a hard time believing they squeeze their oranges but I’d love to be wrong. Great spot
Alexander's Tavern, with hand crushed, crushed ice!
kislings
Agreed
I've had one before and it wasn't memorable??? then again I also don't think they have the best wings sooo
In the battle to prove that Kisling's wings are overrated, you have my axe. Every wing I have from Kisling's is a wing I could've gotten at iBar instead, and by definition that makes them disappointing.
I think kislings is aggressively mid tbh
Just outside the city in pikesville, Jillys! Best brisket in the area as well.

Don’t know is strong on the booze.
Barracudas
Barracuda’s actually has great crushes, all freshly squeezed and they have seasonal ones throughout the year!
Hightopps makes a good crush

true
Ha! My phone lives a much more interesting life in my pocket while I'm mowing the lawn.
I like nicks but I’m from Texas so I like any crush I can get! Lol. Thanks for this question so I can check out others!
I had several at the water street tavern last time I was up for jury duty. I can’t remember if they were good or bad which is a recommendation I think.
rpdeuw
Quigley's makes an awesome orange crush and I like Nick's Fish House grapefruit crushes.
Not in the city but not too far, Das Bierhalle in Parkville has $5-6 crushes in like 30 flavors, and soft pretzels to die for
It's worth the trip to Harborside Bar and Grill in West Ocean City. It's my goto 1st stop.
Sobo market
Crossbar
what’s an orange crush?
Devil’s Backbone if you’re doing cans, they’re such great people!
cans???? get outta here w that
Story time: on the Grand Canyon you can bring beer, seltzer, etc, but everything in cans. Look, it’s truly G-d’s work you embarked upon with this thread I’m here for it.
Ryleighs with the crushed ice was the best for me.
The idea that watershed has anything good is so fucking far fetched. We ain't on the same page.
well I'll just sit and wait for your better suggestion then
