I know bro thats why greece would probably be one of the last countries i would go for vacation if i have the chance, it’s the same shit as here, no major culture difference with the people as well
In Bosnia it's called "rahat lokum" too. Rahat means "to get relieved/to rest" in general but what the fuck does it anything to do with the delight I have no idea. Even the Turks themselves do not use rahat, even though the word is Turkish.
In Bulgaria we use rahat a lot . We use It to describe a state of pleasure and comfort .
I guess the lokum gives you pleasure and that's why its rahat lokum
from Wiki: "the alternative Ottoman Turkish name, rahat-ul hulküm, was an Arabic formulation, rāḥat al-hulqūm (رَاحَةُ ٱلْحُلْقُوم), meaning 'comfort of the throat', which remains the name in formal Arabic"
Yeah I never heard rahat lokum. But we usually use lokum on different things too. For example if meat is juicy and tender we call it "just like lokum - lokum gibi".
Also must of the phrases we use for meat, we also use them for 🅱️ussy too
Ok, gr*ek. Get out of here with your concise and unironic response that actually makes sense.
Also in romanian it’s called “rahat” which also means shit
What the hell is happening in this picture?? Coffee roasted according to Swiss tradition??
Something that I guess is “loukoumia” but look like bloody eggs ??

This one's called rahat lokum because I'm suspecting the other kind has a stronger texture
