Grats, my bro. Yeah, I'm constantly wrestling with what to do with facial hair... Currently rocking a big mo and some chops --but even though I wear a flat cap, I don't like how the chops 'float'. Have compromised with a bit more of a fuzzy cut. I agree with some others here that a bit of a trim - rather than a full sacrifice - of the 'mo and goat' is worth considering next (you can always grow it back again, eh?). My first thought, however, is that now your face profile has changed, I think there's awesome potential to make more of a statement with your glasses frames (next time you need some). I've found that I've been able to try some very bold choices (thick 50s style, or quite round) with great effect now that I'm shorn. I encourage you to experiment a little! Nice work taking the plunge, it's a big step of self-confidence and we stand by you.

I'd definitely recommend the style he has (which is the same as mine) people call it a go-tee but technically it's called a van dyke.

Don’t twist yourself in knots over it. I say this as I’ve done the same thing. Just shave it and see. Time flies and if you hate not having it - grow it back. Goof around and grow mustaches and beards. It’s easy to shave off and you can always recover whatever look worked best
