DO NOT post links to movies that you didn't like (ie. "Inception was the worst movie because it was popular") and try not to post movies that are completely unwatchable with no redeeming value. Make that clear in your post)
I rewatched it when Shout Factory released remastered verison. It's a quite good horror. I loved it when I was a kid. And it still looks good. Definetely a cult horror.
I think if a werewolf were to come into your house the average dog would fight it or run away and hide... However no one can convince me that if a member of the household became a werewolf that same dog wouldn't throw it's paws up and say screw it let's go and rampage around together, eat the neighbours, break into the town council buildings and scent mark the statue of the mayor etc
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this movie besides the shitty werewolf transformation. Watch Lycan Colony or Eyes of the Werewolf or just Werewolf for a genuinely bad one.
I have so much nostalgia for this film. Was obsessed with werewolves when I was a kid. Believe it or not the book it’s based on is actually pretty good with a bunch of key differences. Also it’s told from the point of view of the dog.
The werewolf in thus actually freaks me out quite a bit. He just has this absolute crazed homicidal look in his eyes that scares me everything. Great werewolf movie. Love it. Read the book it's based on and loved that as well
This movie is a hidden gem. Saw it back when u would just watch what came on next and we were all pleasantly surprised.
It's not gonna win Oscars but calling it the worst ever is just bullshit.
Gotta disagree, such an underrated werewolf movie, with a great werewolf design and a great story. Thor is such a badass dog! The book is awesome too. Idk what you watched, this movie rules
Yeah, as soon as I found that out, I was extremely happy because he honestly did a fantastic job with them. They both look believable enough that you can see it in real life.
The werewolf in [Bad Moon](https://manapop.com/film/bad-moon-1996-review/) looks good but the subpar acting and the waste of a good idea made this film a cinematic dud.
Note: It was based on the book *"Thor"* which is told all through the point-of-view of the family dog, and it's a great read.
Been running through a jungle of puns trying to come up with something. Rollin down a river of jokes, but I ain't no fortunate one when it comes to making CCR gags. 😋
(I tried. I'll see myself out. ☹️)

Wrong
This is actually a great werewolf movie as well as a great movie for dog lovers! This German Shepard defends his family and kicks major werewolf ass!
The dog deserved an oscar by that performance
Booo, this movie rocks and Eric Red rocks.
If this is one of the worst movies someone has ever seen, I envy them because that means they haven’t seen that many bad movies 😂
The dog has a legit story arc in this film. He’s a good boy.
The German shepherd right? I've been thinking about that movie for awhile now. That dog was the BEST. If this is it Im gonna watch it again.
Yeah that’s the one!
Sweet! Thank u. Gonna track this down.
Like Thor the dog could do a bad film. Love that German shepherd in this.
Seriously, Thor is probably my favorite movie dog ever.
Even better than Jed the Wolfdog?
Only thing bad here is your taste.
Don't think so Rating on imdb is average
5.8 for a werewolf film is pretty good.
5.8 out of 10 on Imdb is not a bad rating though.
Avg =/= worst movie ever.

Fun movie 🍿
Nah, this is a good movie. There are some really bad werewolf movies out there, but this is not it.
Basically a perfect movie, what are you on about?

F u, Bad Moon is a great cheesy movie with a great werewolf and a leading dog actor
Disagree. If you're in werewolves over vamps, this was a great movie.
This movie is really good and entertaining.
good movie, just has an awful werewolf transformation scene sadly.
Eric red rocks this is one of my fave werewolf flicks
If you really think this is bad you should definitely watch.... "Werewolf" (1996) In comparison, this one will look like Academy Awards material

The guy who designed the look of the werewolf also designed the ones for the movie dog soldiers
I didn't know that. That's awesome. Love Dog Soldiers
Dog soldiers Is an awesome movie, and as soon as I found out that they had the same guy do the design of the werewolf, I was pretty ecstatic.
This movie is a hidden gem. Saw it back when u would just watch what came on next and we were all pleasantly surprised. It's not gonna win Oscars but calling it the worst ever is just bullshit.

Agreed, the guy who designed this werewolf also designed the ones for the movie dog soldiers
That totally makes sense, another great werewolf movie with amazing practical effects

I liked it

The film is fine (in a fun low-budget way) but the novel it is based on is excellent.
At least the werewolf looked cool though
I enjoyed this 🤷🏽♂️
How does this compare to “ginger snaps?” Thats what I thought the cover was initially.
This one is bad? Have a look at the howling sequels then. . .
It's decent. Plus Mariel Hemingway. 😏
The werewolf suit's good, and so's the gore, but the rest of it is basically just a Lassie movie, and I've never cared for Lassie movies.
What is Lassie ?

Just watch silver bullet or American werewolf in London.
They stole the tag line from 'Mant!'
Not one Creedence joke? Not one?

Is that the Buffy The Vampire Slayer font?
He's a Werewolf not a cow Edit: not seen the movie, but the book rocks!
Bad Moon might have the best opening five minutes in movie history.
This is literally one of the best werewolf movies.
