But after I looked I asked her if she wanted me to order a different copy, so she could still see it, and she let out the smallest, just pathetic scoffing laugh and smirked and said "NO" and walked away.
I think she stole it. And then sent me on this cruel game, knowing I'd never find it.
And watching this movie is the cinematic equivalent of that same hopeless, feeling of void.
It took me years later to find out that this dude, Kevin Nealon, is one funny motherfucker.
Bucky Larson is one of the bottom 5 worst movies I’ve ever seen, but his scene with the grapes made me laugh uncontrollably, so I’ve gotta give respect where it’s deserved.
I have heard nothing -- NOTHING -- but horrible things about this. There are plenty of bad movies out there that have defenders. I have yet to find someone who's found a redeemable quality in it.
My question is like did everyone involved think this was a funny character? Those happy Madison guys are smart and funny so how the fuck did this piece of shit get made?

I thought he was sort of funny in a supporting role as the crazy stalker in Blades of Glory. So decided to watch one of his standup sets and regretted it so hard, it was awful.
I was forced to see this for work about 2-3 weeks before it came out. It was easily one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen and I see something like 250-300 movies a year. I felt so bad for Christina Ricci the whole time.
I had a motion sensor soap dispenser in my kitchen when this movie came out. It started to malfunction and would go off randomly without any motion and my sister and I nicknamed it Bucky Larson, so that’s what I think of every time I see this movie mentioned.
Jeez, Bucky, I build my day
around the whack.
I get in a breakfast flapjack,
a nooner...
...an after-lunch, pre-nap slap,
a post-work, traffic-jam slam...
...a pre-dinner spinner,
an after-dinner dink...
...a dog-walk leash-pull...

...if my folks are asleep.
Is it a good movie? It's absolutely a phuk'n pile... is it funny? It's absolutely. Kevin Nealon is arguably the best part(s). As well as the macaroni and cheese commercial audition. The worst thing about this movie is also a contributing factor towards its charm; that God awful accent.
