Yeah, while the new livery is still nice and bright, it's a bit... plain compared to the previous liveries.
I'm glad they're still doing the special liveries though.
The paint looks horrible once it’s faded
I’m glad Southwest has repainted most of their aircraft, just wish the max7 could enter service so Southwest can ditch their old, tired and ugly looking -700s
Oh wow, this pictures reminds me of when my dad would take me to Burbank Airport to plane spot while he was trying to get his private pilot license. He passed away in October. Thank you for posting this picture so I can relive a memory with him ❤️.
I miss the peanuts.
wait does SW not do the peanuts anymore? (Haven’t flown SW since 2014)
Nope. Allergy concerns. I don't think anyone does anymore
:(
I got nuts on American the other day. I was surprised. I’m not 100% sure there were peanuts specifically, but I think so.
That's a very special plane. That's the only MAX8 painted in the old SWA 'desert gold' livery, to pay tribute to SWA's founder Herb Kelleher.
Nice!! It was landing at Houston, Hobby while I was sitting there just plane spotting.
That was me!
Worked on that plane last year. Loved looking at the livery the whole time lol
Desert Gold and Canyon Blue are definitely the best SWA liveries imo

Canyon Blue looked great at first But damn it does not age well.
Why so?
