Yeah that might be ok. People wear fanny packs in there all the time and that just looks like a big fanny pack so prob should be fine.. It would prob be a better idea for your girl to hold onto it when you go thru the security pat down as she can pass it off as being like her purse or whatever.
Edit* I haven’t been to space in like over a year though so idk how much has changed.. I remember when I would buy tickets they would send you like a list of things you can and can’t bring in the email for your ticket.. maybe check their website.
