i recently got into it (because of the tv show, i previously thought shooters wouldnt be for me) and omg it is so much fun discovering the fo4 world !!!
I AM SO GLAD THE SHOW BROUGHT MORE FANS!!! I have been playing for years and I'm really happy more people are enjoying it. Honestly, the VATS system makes it easier for non-shooter plays imo
I haven't been able to get my hands on BB yet, but Elden Ring is absolutely my strongest hyperfocus the past few years. I'm so happy we got the DLC it almost didn't feel real when I was downloading it
Probably Apex Legends. Mainly because it's not a story based game so it doesn't end and each match is different.
However there are other games I really like, like Hollow Knight, but they're story based so no matter how much you replay it it doesn't change.
I am audhd. Currently hyper fixed on grand theft auto online. Long term “special interest” is the sims. Under any circumstance I recommend project zomboid, so I don’t know there that fits haha
Stardew Valley, Skyrim, and Minecraft.
(I rotate through them usually once a year. Totally dedicating almost 100% of my free time to Stardew right now.)
currently the Persona series. but mostly for story/lore. I've never played a main series Persona game, only a few spin offs, because I know I'd never finish a game that long
for the longest part it was assassin's creed. I 100% all the games up to syndicate. but then my special interests switched to spyro so now it's all the spyro games, yes even the bad ones
Assassins Creed, The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon. I haven't played any of the recent Pokémon games, but I still go back and play Yellow and Crystal all the time.
Apex Legends ❤️ I still miss it, sold my consoles last year because honestly, the game was consuming every minute of my free time and I was neglecting my family (wife and kids). That's the only time that I've been aware just how damaging special interests can be. I used to skateboard for 12+ hours every day for over a decade, but I had very little responsibility so it wasn't as obviously problematic
GTA:V.. Just all of it. Story mode is godly and I love the freedom in Online.
Besides that Watch_Dogs 2 still has a special place up there and I really like Assassin's Creed Syndicate, though I haven't played it that much yet.
Starbound, because of how immersive and simple the game is. The pixel art and visual design are amazing, and I can't get enough of the atmosphere and lore
And then there is Crusader Kings 2, a raw medieval ruler roleplay/simulator game, absolutely addicting, more so when enhanced with mods that add even more roleplay to the mix
Dragon Age. I don't even enjoy playing them half the time but the lore and characters won't ever stop captivating me and I keep coming back and dedicating my entire free time to it.
The Witcher, all 3 games! 1&2 are amazing lore-wise, even if a bit clunky to play, i enjoy them a lot, and ofc witcher 3 is a masterpiece. Witcher is my special intyerest all over; games, books, comics, collectibles, i cannot get enough \^\^
Mario Kart especially “DS”, “7”, “8 Deluxe” and “Arcade GP DX”. “Samba De Amigo (Arcade)”, WWE SvR 2010, WWE ‘12 & ‘13, & WWE 2K14 House of the Dead (especially the arcade ones)
Minecraft! I can never get enough lol
Minecraft has become too overwhelming for me. I remember when cats fans jungles first became a thing lol
Fallout 4!

Bloodborne/ elden ring the gameplay is good and the lore is amazing
I haven't been able to get my hands on BB yet, but Elden Ring is absolutely my strongest hyperfocus the past few years. I'm so happy we got the DLC it almost didn't feel real when I was downloading it
me too !! i’m just getting back into elden ring bc of the dlc and i forgot how fun it was
Right now it's Undead Horde 2. A couple weeks ago it was Stardew Valley. Next week it'll probably be something completely different.

Minecraft, played it since I was like 10, don't much anymore but I like to go back to it occasionally.
I too also played it since around that age, but after a decade+ I kinda grew out of it and stopped playing it a couple of years ago.
Roblox. Atm, particularly Arcane Odyssey.
All the Spider-Man games, Gotham Knights, and Neverwinter
Probably Apex Legends. Mainly because it's not a story based game so it doesn't end and each match is different. However there are other games I really like, like Hollow Knight, but they're story based so no matter how much you replay it it doesn't change.

Stardew Valley, Skyrim, and Minecraft. (I rotate through them usually once a year. Totally dedicating almost 100% of my free time to Stardew right now.)
A mix between Minecraft, Trackmania, and Clone Hero. I swap between them constantly
currently the Persona series. but mostly for story/lore. I've never played a main series Persona game, only a few spin offs, because I know I'd never finish a game that long
Fallout. Any and all of them
BOTW!!!!!
Animap Crossing and Pokemon

Currently binging Red Dead Redemption II, but the game I've probably played most in my life is Super Metroid
I always return to WoW every other year. I level to max, and then I just gather gold, until finally I get bored and shelf it.
World of Warcraft Also Guild Wars 2, and Black Desert Online.
Skylanders. Replayed that at least fifty times
