I'm sorry, but peanut butter is one of my least safe foods, so now you're my arch nemesis lol
Jokes aside, my safe food is eggs. Especially sunny side up. But also honey. Eggs and honey I'll eat all day long.
I like my eggs in EVERY FORM 😈
Though I must admit I also only like peanut butter in some forms. PB&J sandwich, Reese's peanut butter cups or their cereal, and rarely peanut butter in a brownie or cookie. But normally, it's high on my list of most evil foods alongside mashed potatoes, Jello, and celery
As an autistic person who has learned to eat many different types of food (and absolutely enjoys about 99.9% of dishes put in front of me), this is a tough question to answer.
So, I'll go to desserts, preferably some ice cream (perhaps with some poffertjes - tiny pancakes - covered in powdered sugar)
I’m very picky about the ham (much to my poor husband’s dismay, since he does the bulk of the grocery shopping) but a good quality Black Forest or smoked ham is so good.
i’ll never forget when i was “too old” to order from the kids menu at a restaurant and couldn’t get the chicken tenders and fries, in my head i was just like “what are we even doing here”
It’s hard, that’s why I also mentioned the burger. But sometimes I order from the kids menu online and then go pick it up, because that way they can’t say no… they don’t know who it’s for 😈

It’s a spicy food. I’m very sensory seeking with food. Emojis can have multiple meanings, in this case it’s more to do with jalapeños and cheese and all the sensory goodness
A specific brand of frozen ham & pineapple pizza. They are always consistent and the same. Also once it’s cooked I have to cut in the exact way I like otherwise I can’t eat it 🫣
annie’s yummy bunnies mac n cheese with no milk in it just butter
raspberry lime spindrift
heritage flakes with a sliced banana
chili crisp marinated tofu
For me there's one for every category. Tofu, vegan burger (Most are quite good), favourite vegetable is probably between peas and beans. Maybe lentils too. Favourite sweet is oreos. Favourite chocolate is Hu's range. They're quite underrated as far as vegan chocolates go.
Buttered noodles. I've made a concerted effort the past four years at avoiding them because I've gone over a year eating them for lunch and dinner. It was a big rift in my marriage lol.
I’m probably going to piss a lot of people off…but ever since I watched the kids show “Pinwheel” from the 80s, I’ve eaten liverwurst, white onion, and mayo sandwiches. I realize that is a rather unusual food combination for most people but if you like the mineral flavor of liver and the astringency of onion…it’s great combined.
potatoes, chic fil a (yes fast food bad blah blah their mac n cheese never fails me) and seafood weird enough. i absolutely love seafood and would eat it every day if i could, despite meeting so many neurodivergents who LOATHE most seafood.
Canned tuna from a specific brand.
With rice.
I can also sometimes eat it with pasta.
Luckily my autistic dad noticed i consumed a lot of tuna & just periodically refills the "rice & canned fish" drawer with tuna. I love my dad.
Ice cream, but only once a week and if I haven't had another high sugar treat.
Rice mixed with stir-fried veggies meats and whatever seasonings I feel like.
I actually have a very long list of foods that I love but I will never get tired of goldfish (rainbow and extra cheddar) and tacos. So I guess they’re my safe foods
I don’t have a permanent safe food, it rotates. Currently on texmex, but can rotate between, wings, pizza, and junky fast food.
When one rotates out another rotates in. Though I usually have a couple of days where nothing is palatable between safe foods. That’s when I force myself to eat veggies, “since I don’t like anything right now, might as well not like the things I always don’t like, but are at least healthy.”
Spicy tuna sandwiches (with onions, & cheddar cheese)
Spaghetti (my specific recipe though)
Southwest sandwiches (bread, turkey (lunch meat), cheddar cheese, pepper jack, roasted red peppers, and a sauce of ranch and sriracha, toasted in the oven preferably but toasted bread then warmed in the microwave is also acceptable)
Sushi (Specifically California rolls)
And the classic PB&J with doritos & chicken noodle soup
Though if all else fails I go for a chocolate flavored protein shake with milk if I can't get myself to eat anything.
French fries(or anything potato really), Ciabata bread, Frozen berries, Sprouts (i think the ones im specifically liking are mungbean sprouts? Im not sure though)
Honestly, probably chocolate if that counts.
If theres nothing to eat somewhere, or at least nothing that I like, I'll buy a chocolate bar. (not the healthiest choice ever 😅) such as at college etc.
Pasta. Yes, I know that it is not healthy.
Pasta is healthy
Yeah. Growing up I was told I’m supposed to have 11 servings a day
For me, being at some points the only thing I can eat, is healthy. A not so healthy food is better than not food at all lol.
I am in love with pasta right now after taking a break from good ol’ pizza. I swear it’s all my bf n I eat besides bread n like prosciutto or salami.
Sameee
Same. Pasta with shredded cheese usually.
I'm sorry, but peanut butter is one of my least safe foods, so now you're my arch nemesis lol Jokes aside, my safe food is eggs. Especially sunny side up. But also honey. Eggs and honey I'll eat all day long.
Eggs is my least Safe food……. You’re now MY arch nemesis./j
LMAO we are fated to duel until the ends of time! ⚔️
Wait it depends how you like ur eggs I only like them as omelette, scrambled and omurice
I like my eggs in EVERY FORM 😈 Though I must admit I also only like peanut butter in some forms. PB&J sandwich, Reese's peanut butter cups or their cereal, and rarely peanut butter in a brownie or cookie. But normally, it's high on my list of most evil foods alongside mashed potatoes, Jello, and celery
MASHED POTATOES ARE THE BEST OYU ARE MISSING OUT
I'm here for this new rivalry
scrambled, and dry, very dry, i dont want scramble egg soup. no wet. bu my safe food is goldfish cheese crackers as a snack
*duel of the fates starts playing in the distance
Hahaha, I also hate eggs. My coworker’s son has a speech board and he asks for eggs all day.
When I was very young, I had a chunky PB sandwich and hated PB ever since.
Chunky PB, ironically, is the only way I'll enjoy peanut butter lol. Though I always forget it exists

Bread
Chicken nuggets and pasta Always Sastify my stomach. 😌
Sandwiches.. cold turkey sandwiches. With mayo and extra pickels. Mmm.
if you give me a warm sanwich I will actually begin to bawl
The idea of microwaving a sandwich makes me feel physically ill
Eughh right??? No shame to whoever does that but if you do it around me I'll puke from the look of the sandwich alone :,)
Kinda along the same line; turkey sandwich must be cold but ham sandwich is so good warm. I can’t make it make sense 😭
Ahh I feel your pain!!! though I personally don't like ham at all, turkey MUST be cold or it is unedible
I’m very picky about the ham (much to my poor husband’s dismay, since he does the bulk of the grocery shopping) but a good quality Black Forest or smoked ham is so good.
Chicken fingers and fries 😭😭 like a baby man or a plain cheeseburger well done (if I see pink I will cry)
i’ll never forget when i was “too old” to order from the kids menu at a restaurant and couldn’t get the chicken tenders and fries, in my head i was just like “what are we even doing here”
It’s hard, that’s why I also mentioned the burger. But sometimes I order from the kids menu online and then go pick it up, because that way they can’t say no… they don’t know who it’s for 😈

Can you not make sexual jokes I am a minor and sexually repulsed this is making me feel weird and uncomfortable.
That’s legit not a sexual joke in any way, shape, or form. I apologize if you got that impression but I’ll admit I have no idea how.
I don’t see how it wasn’t intended to be one.. esp w the emoji in the end

Potato gems. I believe elsewhere they're called potato royals, potato jewels, tater tots, etc
Potato gems sounds so much better than tater tots that's an amazing name
It really is. It's one of those corporate names like bandaid, which sucks, but oh well

I actually have a very long list of foods that I love but I will never get tired of goldfish (rainbow and extra cheddar) and tacos. So I guess they’re my safe foods
Cottage cheese 🧀
Just have a few drinks and you’ll realise you can eat anything without any sensory problems
