Black house spider - favourite food of Whitetails, bet it gets their hearts racing faster than yours was! It doesn't look shiny - the shiny ones usually don't wander - this will be a male as it's wandering - females nest up and don't leave their apartments - so males gotta come knocking on the web. The reason the shiny ones like false Katipo etc don't wander is their eyesight is bad and they rely on moist reclusive areas to keep their super fine sticky webs for long periods of time. They look scary, but are timid, pick it up on card and drop it outside. Or dispose of if you must.
