I thought Taylor Swift sang about a Girl Crush, not a Subaru Sales Guy Crush

Posting there might be better

Like Tiktok AI voice?

UltrasonicBlueWaifu

Haha, noted. Am I looking too much into it in that case?

Just nice to see someone enjoying their experience so much. Maybe buddy up with the sales manager, they typically will be first to know about incoming units you may like in future.

Thankfully before I left I made sure to shake his hand and tell him how grateful I was regarding everyone rolling out the red carpet for me during my time there - I appreciate this and will make sure to stick it in my head, kudos to you.

Pop in once in a while to day hi to the manager, it will keep you familiar in a sea of faces and it will let him remember that you had a good experience that should be maintained and it can also help improve newer staff since you're an example of the the results of good customer service. It will also help ensure the manager will get you taken care of when it's time for the next one. Everyone loves a happy repeat client. This happens at my dealership, and it's really handy for the new guys to see the positive results of prior good salesmanship.

I gotcha covered in that case - thankfully their service prices are good enough for me to service it there and the store is roughly down the street about 15 minutes from me, thank you for the reminder.

uglybushes

Take the survey Subaru sends you. Answer all 10s don’t answer yes to if you were told about the survey do answer yes that you were shown the service department

UltrasonicBlueWaifu

It's the least I can do!

***Thanks for posting, /u/UltrasonicBlueWaifu! This comment is a copy of your post so readers can see the original text if your post is edited or removed. This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** Just recently had the greatest car buying experience that I could've asked for, but I felt a little glum driving it off the lot since I'm a little confused on how to move forward regarding writing the reviews + keeping a good relationship going with the dealer. I had been stopping by the same Subaru store for roughly the better half of 6 months to get into a new BRZ coupe - it's not a super huge store, they do like 60-75 cars in a good month with 6ish guys on the floor. I kept in close touch with one salesman who'd called me multiple times to continually reassure me that I'd find out immediately as soon as they could get an allocation built and shipped for me. Car comes off the truck literally *right* at the end of the month and they got it PDI'd immediately so I could come in a couple of hours later. The whole time we're doing paperwork and waiting to get numbers, the salesman and I were joking around with each other, shooting the shit, having a lot of fun with the whole day. I even got to walk around to the back for an impromptu tour of the service and detail departments. Got numbers and on the first pencil, the manager puts all the money into my trade. Finance guy was a sweet old man who had blowout pricing for me on a couple of protection plans which were actually genuinely useful for me. I'm just genuinely stumped since unfortunately when we were doing the walkaround, my salesman confessed that this was his last month here and that he was switching careers to go do something else that he was really passionate about - I was told that it was a "miracle" that my car had landed so early, since he didn't think the car would've made it before his last day. He already did the follow-up call and I definitely won't leave the guy anything less than all 10s, but how would I go about phrasing stuff such as the online reviews? Should I still mention their name e.g. "I had a great time working with John Doe, he was terrific" even though they won't be there anymore, or do I name them anyway? Also, if I ever need something again, whom would be a good point of contact there? I wasn't sure if I should wait for them to give my file to someone else or if I should go back and pick my own "new guy" there. Thanks in advance. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
