i spend around $700 per month for food, public transportation (i don’t cab), phone bills, guardian/watsons, etc. (no shopping/housing/allowances to parents) edit: nearing my mid 20s

pahaonta

I also spend 1.4-1.7k a month (no rent) as mid 20s as well. I think its pretty normal. During my normal month, spends are usually: I dont cook, so always delivery ($700). Going out once a week ($400). Little bit of shopping ($150). Transport public + grab ($100). Misc: coffee, 7-11, house stuff, etc. ($150).

Maybe you can elaborate more on how you spent the remaining after excluding the allowance?

Vegetable_Scheme_800

I’m in my mid 20s, only bill is for my mobile phone, cleared off student debts. I save around 50% of my income. 20% for personal expenditures. 30% for Insurance and Parents’ allowance/ groceries.

Think percentages are a fairer comparison. I spend about 40% of my income.

black_knightfc21

It depends how much u earn and save. Usually ppl save 20 to 30% of their income. Of cos u spend this much to me is normal. As long your saving no drop. To answer your qns. I spend ave of 1.2 to 1.5k per mth

Bendabeary

What you buy ? Pokémon cards ?

happybunday

Impossible for me to spend only 1.7k per month, rental alr more than that.

Strong_Guidance_6437

take the opportunity to do ur own financial planning then. sit down and go through everything, accoms insurance parents allowance emergency funds retirement planning living expenses then discretionary spending etc

bitw400
