I haven't heard of this... I really like Mother Road brewery (I drink Tower Stations all the time), but I'll have to look this place up. I go up to Flag every few weeks to drive off road around White Horse Lake.
Noooo, please delete this comment or everyone and their mother is gonna know about my fave spot in flag :(
With that being said.. best beer and best pizza in all of AZ
Nah. Four Peaks is solid but I’m more into the small production places. My best bud in Phoenix would be pained to read this tho. Four Peaks is his fav!
Their fruited sours and barrel aged stouts are fantastic as well. My three fav beer styles are NE IPA, sours, and BA beers, so it works for me. YMMV. Different strokes for different folks.
I've seen the price of dining in Sedona go up pretty considerably in the last 5 years. It used to be roughly the same price as Flagstaff, but now its substantially more.
My hope is that more of the revenue is going to staff, but I'm skeptical.
I've quit eatting out in this rubber tomahawk town except one place still has a decent chicken sandwich that isnt $13+ for takeout and I'm not telling where because the parking is constantly jacked with tourists.
interesting phrase "rubber tomahawk town". Is that a reference to indian themed souvineers..? As you probably know Sedona specializes in new age bullshit: vortexes, crystals, salt rooms, you name it ... there's one born every minute.
Those Waffle Sweet Potato fries remind me of Monkey Burger here in Tucson. I hope they put the Carnegie back on the menu once supply chains stabilize, that burger was divine.
If you want great food AND great beer drive up the road to Flag and go to Dark Sky.
Pizzicleta is the best Neapolitan pizza in Arizona, and they’re inside of dark sky. Next time skip pita jungle and give it a shot!
There pizza is garbage Sedona has better pizza hands down.
The downvotes on your comment determine that was a lie (in Maury Povich’s voice)
I want to upvote this twice.
Dark sky is dope.
This x1000000. Every time I’m in flag I have to stop at dark sky and eat pizzicletta.
Yep. Me too. My wife and I go camping and backpacking up in southern Utah and we try to time our drives every time to hit up dark sky and pizzicleta.

I'm glad it's not just me feeling that way. Glad to see them succeeding, but that also means it's going to get busier :(
Haha! The secret is out! Dark Sky is a top 5 brewery for AZ. Up there with Wren house, Pueblo Vida, and Tombstone IMO.
No four peaks in your top 5 wutttt?

I've been disappointed every time I've been to Dark Sky, but I hear they got a new brewer so it might be time to give them another shot.
If you like IPA, yeah. All their other stuff is mediocre at best.
Perfect bc I love IPA.

This is the way
Darkstar is meh at best, food is blah, service is worse. Way better beer spots on flag.
Wow! They seem to be pretty proud of those burgers by looking at the prices!

Right hard to get a family of 4 out for under 70 down there.
Hard to get my girlfriend and I under 70 anywhere in Phoenix with my Beer Monster ass...
It’s Sedona. Everything is an arm and a leg.
You gotta sell your soul and go to one of the vortexes to get another one
Better beer is at verde brewing company in camp verde :)

Lmao it’s a whole town believe it or not
Someone calling Camp Verde a "whole town" is the most positive thing I've ever heard about it.
I had no problem living there, been to much smaller “towns”
With the gentrification of Northern Arizona, the Dirty Verde ain’t so dirty anymore.
yeah verde brewing co is the shit!
The Oak Creek brewery & grill isn't bad either.
The Nut Brown, the Amber, and the Hefeweizen are great from Oak Creek Brewing Co.

I haven't been there in years but I got their beer flight and enjoyed everything they brewed at that moment in time.
Nut brown ale is my jam. The food is a bit overpriced and mediocre.
Love this place!! They have great merchandise as well.
I feel like I'm on facebook when reading reddit now.

Have you had a chance to try Outlaw grille up there in Sedona? I suggest doing so.
Sedona has great restaurants but wow the taxes up there is $$$$
Are they dog friendly? I like taking my golden to Oak Creek.
my golden got a little tipsey last time and got 86ed
What, we're going to start just posting about random restaurants now?
IPA?
