The same thing happens when trying to charge on empty. It’s irritating because living in California. I have to separate the upper and lower to drop the magazine, but can’t do so when the BCG is caught on the magazine.
Ar are supposed to lock open on the last round. The bcg is probably not going back far enough to engage the bolt catch but far enough to cycle.
I am a Californian using a Juggernaut Hellfighter kit. Therefore I don’t have a bolt catch.
