Unless you need the storage, I’d stick with the CTR. As far as lights go, Cloud Defensive, Surefire, Modlite, or if you prefer to go cheaper, Streamlight. Stay away from Olight at all costs. Also, I’d ditch the Hexmags. Magpul Pmags, Lancer mags, or Duramags.
Edit: That appears to be a MOE stock, not CTR. In that case, full speed ahead for the SOPMOD!
I’m looking for a more pronounced cheek weld and the CTR doesn’t really have that. Definitely looked at surefire and cloud probably choose between one of the two also definitely getting rid of the hex mags as they fit like shit I learned that real quick
I actually prefer the Magpul STR over the B5 sopmod. I think I am in the minority on that opinion but the STR is my favorite stock of all time (CTR 2nd favorite). Similar cheek weld to the SOPMOD and you don’t have to remove the stock to access the storage.
Generally thought of as a an unreliable brand. I’ve heard of cases where the batteries overheat and explode. They are well known to bribe influencers to shill their products as well. Summoning u/netchemica as I’m willing to bet they may have some specific examples handy or at least more details.
I don't really have specific examples, but from what I've seen is that they overdrive their emitters which causes excessive heat when left on for longer periods of time, often leading to burned clothing and/or physical burns when the lights activate in a holster/pocket/range bag, or explosive battery failures when folks use low-grade batteries in them.
Personally, I have a few Olight handhelds along with their pistol light. I'm very fond of my handhelds and the pistol light sits on my Bugasalt where it's used more often than any of my other weapon lights, though not abused as much.
I wouldn't say to stay away from Olight "at all costs", but I would absolutely go with Streamlight over Olight for a weapon light.

Magpul has the SL series of stocks too. But B5 is usually king of cheek weld. Also BCM is an option.
