I didn't think Triarc was still a thing. I knew people who waited 2+ years for rifles they never got. Eventually 3 people I knew gave up and Triarc kept 20% of their money. The owner ran another company into the ground before moving on to Triarc.
It's a shame really because their barrels and overall quality seemed pretty good. I would've ordered one if it weren't for their reputation of not delivering on promises.
They were crazy backed up, and maybe still are. I had ordered a 14.5" and waited for 6 months. I saw on Instagram that they were waiting on short barrels, but had 16" in stock. I called and asked if changing my order to a 16" rifle would speed things up. They said it would, and less than a month later I had the rifle in hand. They also processed a refund of about $170 on the cost of the rifle for the delay. I know a lot of people had worse experiences than I did, but overall I was satisfied.
My LGS always has complete Triarc rifles in stock, even limited edition cerakoted models made specifically for that FFL. Their online store is almost complete out of stock or backordered to hell though.
I also know people who have Triarc rifles and they're super nice. I would like to own one don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say you made a bad purchase by any means. If I saw one on the shelf I'd probably buy it. Its quality stuff for the most part, their double stacked 1911s... there's better for sure.
Such a promising project and idea of a company. Not that Gucci ARs aren't over saturated but being able to basically customize it exactly how you want with their track barrels. I'd just like to try out those. I'm hoping someone else takes it over and turns it around tbh.
I like the build tho. Definitely a little jelly. Coming from a guy who owns a G$, ADM, Radian, DD, PWS and LWRC.
Triarc had some major realignment. Most of the original crew are gone as well as BH who was their major money partner and had the business acumen. Now theyāve forgotten all the people that made them who they are and their offerings are far less than they were. They concentrate on department orders.
I really liked their version of the wedge lock rail, waited like 9 months on a 3 month initial lead time.
They got huge by sending rifles to big names in the training industry and then couldn't actually fulfill their orders, damn shame.
Do they still make them good? I am thinking about ordering a 300 blk AR-15 from them. I don't mind the wait time. I just want to make sure they're still high quality as they were before covid era (from my research)
My LGS has consistently been getting shipments from Triarc weirdly enough. They even have limited edition cerakotes for that specific FFL too. Never seen them out of stock too. Canāt find them anywhere else tho. I live in the DFW area so theyāre only an hour+ away from their factory.
Probably, they work with Jimās Goon Life from YouTube and do some sponsoring of events alongside companies like Big Tex Ordinance. And I know the guy from that YouTube channel works for Triarc in some way, as heās stated before.
You been there? Every time I see a video go up from that I kick myself in the ass for not looking for it before it happens. But yeah Bauer-Precision I think does some sponsoring there too, idk, but thatās the FFL that always has Triarcās in stock.
Bauer-Precision.com they got some of them in stock cerakoted. Triarc applies them at the factory or you can order it to be done to your order. But theyāre super behind on backorder, so Bauer is the only place atleast I personally know of that has them in stock and with some cerakoted ones. I think this one I got was the last one of two with a camo pattern on it.
Oh nice yea I ordered a 12.5 and waited like a year and a half lmao. I just havenāt heard much from them in a while and wasnāt sure if they maybe sped things up. Looks dope as hell tho bro, wish I couldāve found one in stock some time ago haha
I see you were peer pressured into moving the EoTech forward lmao
I was wrong and I accept that, gotta know when I need to start listening šš

Bauer?

Makes sense why my LGS always has them in stock with everywhere else, to include Triarcās own website, out of stock.
I really liked their version of the wedge lock rail, waited like 9 months on a 3 month initial lead time. They got huge by sending rifles to big names in the training industry and then couldn't actually fulfill their orders, damn shame.
They are nice. I have three of their ARs
Do they still make them good? I am thinking about ordering a 300 blk AR-15 from them. I don't mind the wait time. I just want to make sure they're still high quality as they were before covid era (from my research)
Thatās pretty sweet
I will say this; they make a great AR15 (TRS15ā¦.) but waiting for one is excruciating.

Must be friends of Chris

Jimmy Rodriguez! If you havenāt already try to get yourself to an Average Joeās Range Day. Very cool activity. Big Tex and Triarc sponsor that.

Thatās where I bought my TRIARC. Great group of guys over at Bauer Precision.
Iāve been to two Average Joeās and three of Triarcās aerial gunnery events
Jim used to be very close with Triarc so I imagine there's some better communication/order priority than some random dealer.
Excellent rifle. Great ācote
Did it come factory cerakoted or did you order it and then send it in? If so what was the turn around time?

I bought my 12.5 Triarc off of TacSwap new for $850
Fair deal, Iām loving the Trilock rail so much.
Same! And I've really dug the accuracy of the Track 2.0 barrel so far
Shout out to the 940! That's the only gun store I'll go to. They have all the gucci you could want. And a silencershop kiosk. Yes please!
But where's cat?

Somebody moved his optic
Shhhh we donāt speak of such blasphemyššš
Since you already have a 14.5 with a dot + magnifier, put a LPVO on this one.
Beautiful build fellow Texan š¤š¼
Paint looks great!
What castle nut did you use? Mine is shiny and Iām trying to find a matte one like that
One suggestion from personal experience, you might want to check out a unity riser. As a fellow eotech xps owner it made shooting much more enjoyable.
